Amazing little cottage, that we really enjoyed to stay in for 6 days. Saw amazing northern light and had peace and quiet just like We wanted. Close to all the stuff We value and love about Iceland: Golden Circle, horses, nature and the sea 😍😍😍 Friða ís always responsive in case of questions and that was amazing ❤️❤️

I had a lovely stay in the apartment. It is very cozy and well-equipped, making it suitable for a longer stay as well. Communication with Unnur was easy and pleasant. I highly recommend this accommodation and would gladly return! 😊

Just as described! Krista was very helpful with recommendations and directions. Plenty of space and great living and dining room. Views are amazing. The hot tub was amazing, definitely try after a long day of hikes!

Great place with lovely views

We loved staying at Stefanie's place. It's simple, well located, and a great home base location for exploring south Iceland. We went in the winter and although the roads hav snow they are well maintained and it was each to reach her place. The cabin is very organized and perfect for a family with kids or a small group - it had three single beds, a bunk bead, and one queen. We found the location was fairly central to south iceland (2hrs from vik and 1.5hrs from the airport). We were fortunate to see the Northern Lights right out her front door. Stefanie also gave us some great ideas of local spots to hit we would've missed. We'd highly recommend staying with her.

We really enjoyed our stay… especially the geothermal pools which are just a quick drive uphill. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and just as described.

Clean and beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The place felt remote but was near enough to Selfoss to make grocery shopping and eating out very convenient. The house was immaculate, very well equipped, and exactly as described. We were able to watch the northern lights from the beautiful deck and we were able to interact with the sweet horses on our way to and from the property. Edda was very communicative and explained everything very well. We would definitely stay here again!

We had the most beautiful stay at Monika and Siggi’s cottage! Incredibly private, clean, modern and cozy. Huge windows made it really easy to view Aurora. We had a great time shopping at their wool shop, which consisted of many many stunning and intricate handmade wool sweaters and accessories, made by Monika, mom and sister! Truly a dream stay!

This was an absolutely amazing stay amid a beautiful horse farm, just a little off of the beaten path and still very easy to get to and close to many wonderful sites of interest. Kristján and his family were incredibly welcoming, the house was pristine and larger and even more comfortable than expected from the photos, with excellent heating and all of the amenities we could have wanted. It was a great place to stay with kids, and our hosts were incredibly generous about sharing their knowledge and love of animals with us and our children. I highly recommend it.

Is extremely secluded, so you can completely relax and have private. Very nice communication with Maja. Very easy that herbs and oil are already present. Was big enough for our family of four ( already children aged 18 and 21)

Great house in a beautiful environment. Clean and spacious with great rooms. The location is very good in the south of Iceland. Wonderful stay all together and Helga answered all of my questions quickly. Highly recommend

This home looks tiny on the outside but was perfect on the inside for our group of 4. Louise was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay. Our horse-loving young girls would add that our stay was way too short because they really did not want to leave!

Jon's place in Flúðir was a delightful surprise! The space was incredibly comfortable and spacious, perfect for exploring the stunning Icelandic countryside. The bathroom was a particular highlight, feeling more like a luxurious 5-star hotel than a vacation rental. The place was fully equipped with everything I needed, making our stay truly hassle-free. Jon was also very responsive and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

We just finished a 3 night stay at Maria’s place and it was absolutely lovely. We enjoyed the hot tub and the house felt just like home. Beautifully decorated with little touches that made the house feel warm. Maria was extremely responsive and allowed us to check in early which worked out perfect for our travel plans. I do recommend stopping at a larger store before getting close to the house as the little town has only a convenience store. We also really enjoyed dinner at Lindin in the town. The house was a great gateway to everything we wanted to get too.
