Great hosts and beautiful house out in nature! The facilities were exactly as described in the description. Thorough check in instructions and useful recommendations for places to eat and get food. Cozy home with all of the amenities that you could need. Location is optimal for getting away from the city lights and getting to see some northern lights and get out into nature. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Haukur's cabin for a week and enjoyed it very much. He was always easily accessible and helped us with everything. The property is beautiful and great for unwinding. It's very quiet and peaceful. It looked fantastic in any weather. The cabin is well equipped. You are about 20 minutes away by car from Selfoss and there is everything you need. It was very nice to meet you, hopefully until next time!

We felt very comfortable, the cabin is completely sufficient and equipped with everything that is needed. All the sights of the golden circle are easily accessible. Definitely recommended

Harald’s place was peaceful and in a lovely location. It is private, with no light pollution, and pretty much has everything you need. There is a nice yard, cute fairy house and bridge on the side of the cottage, and a community playground within walking distance. A few miles up the road is a lovely church and historical site with a turf house, school cairn (built maybe during the Middle Ages), a memorial to Jon Arason—a 16th century bishop, and a field to forage a delicious local treat—crowberries! Perfect location to check out golden circle area-close to kerid crater, geyser, bruarfoss, gullfoss, and the geothermal bakery and springs—Laugarvatn Fontana. If I could live at Harald’s place, I would! He is a straight forward, responsive host. I got all the information I needed when I needed it.

Terrific place. They even had power adapters which we forgot. Our clothes got wet so we asked her if we can use the “Staff only “ dryer which she politely declined because it will dirty up sheets when she washes them. So very conscious about keeping place clean. Totally recommend

The family room was fantastic! The location was ideal, and the room was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate four adults. I especially enjoyed the patio and the shared dining area. One suggestion: adding a microwave in the dining room would be very helpful. Also, having more bowls and cutlery would be great, as the dining space is shared among 5-7 rooms, each housing at least two guests.

Beautiful home, our favorite of the trip! Everything is practical and nicely decorated down to the details. Well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful view of the horses upon waking. Perfect conditions to see the northern lights if the weather conditions are with you! Gudjon was very responsive and very helpful! Recommended!!
