Great hosts and beautiful house out in nature! The facilities were exactly as described in the description. Thorough check in instructions and useful recommendations for places to eat and get food. Cozy home with all of the amenities that you could need. Location is optimal for getting away from the city lights and getting to see some northern lights and get out into nature. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again!

Wir waren eine Woche bei Haukur in der Hütte und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Er war immer gut erreichbar und hat uns bei allem geholfen. Das Grundstück ist wunderschön und super um abzuschalten. Es ist sehr ruhig und friedlich. Es sah zu jeder Wetterlage traumhaft aus. Die Hütte ist gut ausgestattet. Man ist von Selfoss ca. 20 min mit dem Auto entfernt und dort gibt es alles was man braucht. Es hat uns sehr gefreut dich kennenzulernen, hoffentlich bis zum nächsten Mal!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Hütte ist völlig ausreichend und mit allem ausgestattet was gebraucht wird. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten des golden circle sind gut zu erreichen. Absolute Empfehlung

Es waren unsere ersten drei Tage auf Island. Wir waren sehr unsicher - Flugverspätung, Mietauto, alles war für uns neu. Aber die Hütte haben wir nach Haralds Anweisungen problemlos sofort gefunden. Alles sah genauso wie auf den Fotos aus. Die Hütte ist klein, aber äußerst gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Küche ist sehr praktisch eingerichtet, mit allem was man braucht, es ist genug Besteck da, genug Gläser, Teller, Töpfe, ein Minibackofen... Die Matrazzen sind einfach ein Traum, weder zu hart noch zu weich, wir haben sehr but geschlafen. Und es ist auch sofort warm, wenn man die Heizung andreht. W-Lan hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Es war wie im Paradies. Und die Lage: besser gehts nicht. Ca. 30 Min zum Gullfoss und Geysir, und man ist auch sehr schnell bei Selfoss und im Süden. In der Nähe git es auch einige Thermalbäder. - Alles in allem war es ein perfekter Start in unseren Urlaub, es tut uns leid, dass wir so schnell abgereist sind. Danke.

Terrific place. They even had power adapters which we forgot. Our clothes got wet so we asked her if we can use the “Staff only “ dryer which she politely declined because it will dirty up sheets when she washes them. So very conscious about keeping place clean. Totally recommend

El guesthouse está en una eco-village apartada de la carretera principal, rodeada de árboles, donde nos sentimos como en casa. La habitación familiar era amplia y cómoda, e incluso tenía una pequeña cocina dentro, por si preferías cocinar allí en lugar de en la cocina principal. De todas formas la cocina principal es grande, estuvimos solos allí en nuestra única noche y pudimos cocinar sin problema. Sin duda cuando vuelva a Islandia será un lugar a tener en cuenta para volver a hospedarnos.

Magnifique logement, notre préféré du voyage! Tout est pratique et joliment décoré jsq dans les détails. Cuisine bien équipée. Vue magnifique au réveil sur les chevaux. Conditions parfaites pour voir les aurores boréales si les conditions météo sont avec vous! Gudjon a été très réactif et très serviable! On recommande!!
