We had two unfortunate last minute cancellations from other host so didn’t find their place until the day before our stay. It was nicer than either and wish we would have just booked with them first. So, thankful to them for making our last few days in Iceland a perfect end to our trip!

This little cabin was absolutely gorgeous and perfect. The location was amazing, secluded and with beautiful views. Northern lights visible at night from the cabin! The cabin is very cozy and stylish. The host was very kind and responsive and sweet. We really enjoyed our stay and visit at this cabin in Hella. I recommend this place!

Vignir and Lena’s cabin is set in the most beautiful spot, surrounded by mountains in the southwest of Iceland. It’s very comfy, cosy and clean, not to mention the hot tub with a view is a real treat. As hosts, they can’t be faulted - they’re friendly, communicative and really look after their cabin. It’s the perfect place to go for a romantic getaway or to get some peace and quiet. Highly recommended.

This was the perfect stay and homebase for our stay on the south coast of Iceland. Not only were the immediate surroundings breathtaking, but the location made it easy to make day trips to the Golden Circle area as well as to many of the glaciers and waterfalls we wanted to see. The home itself was also incredible and felt like a little retreat center all to ourselves. Will be recommending this place to all my friends when they come to visit!

The Raven’s Nest is beautifully designed and finished, and it’s in an amazing location (remote and private but close to lots by car). I would say it was probably the best Airbnb experience I’ve had, and I would 100% recommend it to other travelers. Thanks Valdimar for opening up your home for others to experience!

Anna was an amazing host with an amazing Airbnb! She was super responsive and friendly. Also, the location was close to a lot of incredible sights at the Golden Circle, and not too far from downtown Selfoss. And I can’t stress enough how tasteful and beautiful the cabin was!

Really beautiful cabin in a perfect location. Good point to travel around the south from. Clean, very spacious and well laid out. Much bigger than I expected. Really good quality furniture and fittings. Lovely and warm at the end of a busy day exploring. Managed to watch a brilliant show of the northern lights from the decking. Would highly recommend.

Our stay here was a delight! Beautiful location, house is perfectly cozy even when the weather isn't. House has everything you need and is well furnished - a great base for all your south coast adventures! Host is incredibly helpful and communicative.

Wanted peace and the opportunity to remove from the hustle and bustle of life. This venue provided just that. As ever, simple booking process which then led to great communication from the hosts including YouTube Videos showing site access and also Google Drive files showing photos and description of on site amenities. The home itself, spotless, warm, clean amd tranquil. Great facilities inside the home and knew during the stay if any issues arose then host was one message away. Easy check in and check out process. Good communication from the host from start to finish and the home is located in some breath taking surroundings.

We loved staying here! It was the perfect cozy cabin feel, with cute homey decorations and things that made it feel very comfortable. They have many spices, which make cooking easy if you are wanting to cook while staying here. They left us clear instructions for everything, as well as some delicious Icelandic chocolate. They were super quick to respond when we had questions. Something to remember, bring a blow dryer if you know you’ll need one! it was really perfect. We even saw the northern lights!

We had an amazing stay EYVÍK Cottage! It was the perfect base for exploring the golden circle and south coast, with great proximity to Reykjavík and Selfoss. The cottage was cozy, clean and met all of our expectations. The cottage is in an extremely private area which was quiet and felt so secluded, which we really loved, especially when we were relaxing at night in the hot tub. We were even lucky enough to watch the Northern Lights from the window in the cottage as we were far from the bright lights of the city! The check in went without any issues and we were given clear instructions to find the cottage with ease! We really would recommend the EYVÍK Cottages to anyone looking for an amazing stay in Iceland! 10/10!!

We had a hiccup at checkin but the responsiveness was great and we weren’t inconvenienced long. The house is great and accommodated 5 adults with plenty of space! Fresh flowers were set out and everything was very clean and well maintained! There are houses nearby but no one seemed to be around. The hot tub was icing on the cake! Would love to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The pictures correspond to reality – it was just as cozy and welcoming as we had imagined. The house was clean and well equipped, so we felt comfortable from the beginning. Check-in and check-out were flexible via a key box. We especially liked the quiet location, we were able to switch off completely and enjoy nature. An absolute highlight was seeing the northern lights right above the house – a magical moment!

The airbnb was just what we needed after a long day exploring Iceland. it was peaceful and quiet and had all we needed to unwind and get ready for bed (and cook a meal or 2). There was 3 of us and one took the sofa bed. We didn't get lucky with the northern lights but maybe next time!

We had a fantastic couple of night at the Cottage. It was clean, spacious and everything we needed as a base for the Golden Circle area. The geothermally heated hot tub was an absolute treat! Smari was very quick to respond whenever needed too! Would love to visit again in the future and highly recommend to anyone considering.

Our stay at Larus’ accommodation was magical. Such a beautiful and restful setting, we felt relaxed instantaneously. The space was spotless with everything considered. The hot tubs and sauna were wonderful luxuries with the verandas thoughtfully sheltered from the breeze and the kayak’s in the lake which our boys enjoyed. The communication from start to when we left was proactive and clear with Kamil kindly meeting us at the cottages to guide us to the house and show us around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

Helga is a fantastic host! The property was great and was perfect for the reason we went to Iceland - Aurora Borealis !!! The northern lights were so great and we enjoyed them right from the deck of the cabin. Walking around the entire home while taking photos was perfect. The hot tub is excellent and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were greeted with a tasty cake and enjoyed the kitchen daily. Great hot water and shower. Slept so well in the comfy beds and linen. I can’t say enough about this property. Already trying to figure out when we are visiting again. Absolutely the best trip we could have had. The location is perfect for so many different sites inThe Golden Circle and the Geyser area!! Waterfalls were beautiful and within driving distance. A geothermal spa is just moments away. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

This house was perfect. The hostesses met us when we arrived, gave us instructions on things they wanted us to make sure we knew (for safety and such due to the temperatures), and spent around 2 hours giving us a tour and history of the house. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed and they were so thoughtful with all of their recommendations for activities with our children. We 100% recommend this house to others and we will be coming back in the future!

The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything needed. Shower Soap and shampoo were not offered. The living room area had 2 beds instead of a sitting area, however the kitchen table and chairs were fine to sit at.

Wonderful place to stay, particularly if you are interested in going to the Fontana baths. Less than a 5 minute walk so great to get back 'home' after a long day of driving then walk over to the baths to relax. Place was very comfortable, clean, well appointed and the host is very responsive. Highly recommend!

Jona was a terrific host and her cottage was perfect for our family of three. we had great conditions for viewing the northern lights and away from any light pollution so we could really enjoy their beauty!

First of all, we have lived here our most beautiful northern lights since our arrival in Iceland (4th evening): no parasitic lighting, an almost 360-degree horizon, ideal weather conditions... Inevitably, this place has become a cult for us! For the accommodation itself: no complaints, everything is in order, as described, and better still... As for the outside, it is great! We dreamed of a summer here! Inevitably, we'll be back on our next visit to Iceland, and not just for the aurora, let it be clear, we loved our stay! If you have the opportunity, don't hesitate!

What a wonderful location. Fantastically equipped for self catering, great views and the hot tub was amazing, particularly watching the northern lights and sitting in the snow! Communication and instructions were fabulous including the video location instructions. If you want a base perfect for the Golden circle away from it all, this is it!
