The cottage is even more lovely than described. Welcoming and peaceful - a truly wonderful place. Emma and her family are very friendly and helpful. My daughters were allowed to hold a newborn lamb and see the horses! Also we were able to buy fresh eggs to take home. The cottage was very clean and very comfortable for the family of four no matter the weather. Ideal location for hikers like us with public footpaths right on the doorstep. Many options for lovely local walks. Picture perfect Pateley Bridge within walking distance (15-20 minutes for ramblers) with its restaurants, cafés and local shops. Kitchen is well equipped so we were able to prepare some of the meals at the accommodation. There were some board games at the accommodation which we found useful when we had to spend the first evening indoors due to rain. Our favourite place was the balcony with amazing views where on 2 evenings we could chill out enjoying a glass of wine after long walks. Would recommend to everyone

The studio at Stean is a great little bolthole at the top end of Nidderdale. Ashley and family are welcoming and the studio itself comfortable. Great walking from the door. Recommend as a quiet get away.

Excellent place, super professional hosts who gave you all the information you could need in a really helpful way. We’ve stayed at a few Air bnb’s now and Neil and Lucy are among the top hosts we’ve had. Accomodation is ideal, exceptionally clean, really comfortable and very well organised. Even the plugs have electrical safety certificates on them! Great location to explore the amazing beautiful countryside around here. Druid circles, gorges, caves, etc. etc. just stunning. Local pubs and restaurants were really friendly and one is literally about 100 meters away (but not noisey at all). We slept like logs and would love to come back. Top marks to Neil and Lucy and a massive thank you.
