Vacation rentals with lake access in Raleigh

I am very grateful for the experience of staying here. We had a family emergency and staying here for 2 weeks before moving one of us to an apartment greatly reduced the stress of what was going on. The place was beautiful and spacious, had great grounds to explore, and was clean and welcoming. Bryan was responsive, friendly and generous with his time and resources. I also got some great ideas of what I would like to do with some land I plan to purchase. I highly recommend this place. Thank you.

Andrew is such an awesome host! He was super friendly and professional, making communication a breeze. The house is packed with fantastic amenities—everything from high-quality soaps and lotions that I absolutely loved to an easy-to-use tech system for music, temperature, and lights. The theater room was a huge hit with my kids; they were thrilled! I really enjoyed relaxing on the back deck, taking in the lovely view of the pond and fountain. It was such a wonderful experience!

I can't think of any complaints. great house, great central location. be sure to check out the nearby greenways and parks!

Lacy’s house was clean, and spacious. We had a great time cooking in the kitchen and enjoyed hanging out on the deck. There was a tv in all of the common spaces so we could watch March Madness anywhere we were. This is a great place to stay if you are in the Sanford area. It is remote enough to enjoy some peace and quiet but is only a couple of miles from downtown restaurants.

I give it 5 star, it not mean it’s good. there’s no hot water for the shower. I tried many times, but it just wouldn’t get hot. The other faucets have hot water, but not the shower, which is really strange. So, I haven’t showered for five days—it’s miserable. There are two rooms. The one near the door is nice and quiet. The inner room, however, is very noisy—every time the air conditioning turns on, it makes a loud noise. Plus, there’s no blanket in this room. I eventually found one in the cabinet, but it’s thin—not really a proper comforter. Pretty rough experience.

Great stay, even though it is an apartment complex, it was still really private and no disturbances. Everything you need is there, lots of space for 2 people and it was comforting. The apartment its self was mostly clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay and did not feel uncomfortable!

Thank you for a great stay! I came into town to spend time with family at our annual family reunion. We really enjoyed your house, it was very cozy and welcoming. The full kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook and make meals for the reunion. We will definitely look for you on our next stay.

Molly’s place was the PERFECT location for our family anniversary. The doggos loved the huge yard and spent hours exploring every nook and cranny. I honestly can’t put into words how absolutely incredible this home was. We will be back!

We loved our stay at the Mill Cottage. It was the perfect base camp for us as we travelled to Pittsboro and Silk Hope to visit family and attend a funeral. The Hobbs family was extremely friendly and accommodating. We loved the views and sounds of Terrell’s Creek! We hope to return for our next visit with family!

A serene, relaxing setting right on the lake. Comfortable, clean accomodations. The hostess went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible. Every detail was attended to. Would definitely go back.

This place is very well maintained, almost everything has been thought of, from the amenities through to a pass to the national park for guests to use. The kitchen is professional and has everything you need, and all the basics with more already there, e.g. olive oil, water, orange juice, spices, milk etc.. Rob and Susan are very friendly, you can see they care a lot about their place, and it shows. Would highly recommend!
