Cottage vacation rentals in Quincy

We booked our stay for a couple of nights away for our family of 4. Talita and Vinny were very welcoming to their adorable place! The cottage is right on the water on the very clean and lovely lake. We had everything we needed and I loved the way the place was decorated. We really enjoyed the stand up paddle boards and the shaded seating area. Our kiddos (9 and 11) we very happy hanging in the hot tub and tossing bread to the blue gills. Good food options nearby - we really enjoyed George's Surf n' Turf. I recommend this stay and hope to be back in the future!

It was exactly what my family was looking for. It was relaxing and private. It allowed us to not feel cramped like a hotel stay, but allowed us to cook and enjoy the relaxing day. If you have a small kid, the golf cart is a must!

We had an absolute blast on our girls getaway weekend!! The cottage and community were amazing, exactly what we were hoping for and Doug couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He was always available by text or phone. The cottage was clean, nicely equipped, and a great location!! We will definitely be renting this cottage again on our next trip!!! Thanks for having us... we loved every minute!! 🧙🧙🧙

Other than you know, the bathroom not being fully cleaned. the house was perfect for our little vacation that we had with our family and we would come again in the owner's are very very nice and very responsive

This place truly gave "treehouse" vibes - with being up on a hill and with the big windows, it was a pleasure waking up here each morning to see all the trees with their autumn leaves. This is such a unique house - and it included all the amenities we needed. The location was also great and it was easy to get around and explore the area. 10/10 would stay here again!

Perfect layout and location for our annual visit to see my dad who lives across the pond!

Ashley’s Hummingbird Cottage was terrific. It was quiet and immaculate. It was close to conservation land for walking and area beaches and wildlife. She was quick to respond and so easy to deal with. It snowed while we were there and we got up to a cleaned off car! We appreciated the box of croissants to great us. We will certainly think of her again when we head towards that area!

This is a fascinating carriage house with amazing decor and furniture that is a refreshing change from the particle board we've seen elsewhere (including our own house! ). We love getting to walk over to the Roger Williams Park so easily. The compact but complete kitchen and full sized fridge made it easy to cook for ourselves whenever we wanted. Lots of attention to detail by these hosts!

This house is a true gem. The home is cozy and welcoming with lots of puzzles and family games to play. The pool is pristine and was so much fun to use. The beautiful trees and flowers provide nice shade and privacy around the pool while also feeling like you’re inside a pollinator garden. The home is an easy walk to front beach and bearskin neck where we enjoyed good restaurants and shops. Trenton and Cassie are great hosts- very responsive and friendly. We hope to stay here again!

The Little House was very cleaned and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I was in town for work and the house's cozy atmosphere and view of the pond made it a great place to unwind and relax at the end of a long work day. I felt right at home. I would love to return on future business trips and it would be great to stay sometime for a more leisurely vacation. Highly recommend!

The cabin was quaint and cozy. The view was spectacular! I would return again and again. Very clean and convenient for my needs at that time. Was visiting my friends daughter and her grandchildren. They were over for a visit and it was perfect for our get together.

Absolutely beautiful location. Home was very cozy. Love the kitchen! Brian is a great host. Extremely proactive, helpful and gave great recommendations. Neighborhood is quiet and those around are friendly. Definitely recommend staying at this location again. Wish I would have stayed in warmer weather to utilize the property to its full potential.

We had the perfect stay! The house was perfect for our toddler to feel comfortable playing both inside and outside. The location was great and easily accessible to downtown. Gordon was also such a gracious host and offered flexible check in and check out times to better accommodate our travel plans. We would absolutely stay here again!

The Maid’s Quarters was in the perfect location to visit Salem from the train station. We loved the beautiful grounds, tennis courts in great shape, and most of all the short trail to the private beach. The beach was a bit of heaven. The house itself was peaceful with lots of old charm. Well stocked kitchen, clean linens, comfy beds. It was clean and had everything we needed except shampoo and hair dryer. It does have old home quirks like bathroom and bedroom doors that won’t close tight. It smells like a dehumidifier is needed, normal for older home. And definitely don’t forget your tennis gear, there is none in the house. The space heaters were much needed since it was mid October and there is no central heat. The host did not respond to our question, but it wasn’t a big deal. Getting in the house was easy. We would definitely recommend this house, so charming with its fabulous location. Perfect for a family of 4.

Spent February at Rick's place and was sad to leave. Very close to all Andover has to offer and vary spacious for a long term stay. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to friends that come in town.

Lovely home situated at the tip of a very peaceful peninsula so the views were breathtaking. We loved the wrap around deck and gazebo. Clean, with plenty of extra linen and lots of extra space to read, relax or play games. We would love to return in the summer to enjoy the water activities!

Charlene's place is great. Peaceful and with quick easy access to the beach. We had a four year old and 2 year old with us and they loved it. The low tides give lots of space on the beach for the kids to run around, play and hunt for seashells. Great locals. The house is a short drive into Plymouth city center where there are a ton of great restaurants. The house itself was cozy, comfy and cute. The kids loved their rooms upstairs and there is a spacious bedroom upstairs for parents. Lounging in front of a movie was also possible with the huge couch. The gas oven is on the older side, but it adds to the charm. Either way, most of our meals were on the BBQ, which was fully functional. The outdoor shower (with warm water) was amazing after a day at the beach. Overall, a great stay, highly recommend.
