Atypical house located in the heart of nature between woods and scrubland. South facing with beautiful sunshine , beautiful views , silence , and starry skies. All the conditions for relaxing in peace. It is only 1.5 km from the village (market, restaurant). Very good wifi connection. You can immediately set off on the many hiking trails. In the surrounding area, there are 3 lakes for swimming and the gorges. of the Aude (canoe, kayak, raft). Bars, restaurants, supermarket 8 km away.

The two cottages at your disposal, carefully renovated in a 17th century abbey farm, can accommodate up to 20 people. Enjoy the pool, let yourself be lulled by the birdsong, breathe in the fresh air: it's the perfect place to meet, rest, share good meals, and simply enjoy.

HIGH MOUNTAIN HOUSE WITH CHARM AND COMFORT

Casa Vella Arrero, is a typical mountain house from the 18th century, completely restored since 2018, where at all times the essence of the typical buildings of the Pyrenees , with stone and wood, has been maintained. The house has an innate, rustic and elegant charm where you could introduce elements of comfort and modernity . The house is all lit by a warm lighting system with LEDs, in line with the rest environment offered by its location.

Gite 10km from Carcassonne in the Montagne Noire

The gite adjoins our house and is situated in a green setting at the foot of the Montagne Noire, just outside a pretty Cathar village. In addition to a large landscaped garden, there is a secure parking space. This 35m2 gîte comprises a lounge, kitchen, shower room and bedroom. The flat has its own entrance leading onto a covered terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. The gîte stays cool in summer thanks to the vegetation.

It is by a small road that climbs through forest groves that you access this "magical" place where the view of the Ariège Pyrenees is breathtaking! This old sheepfold located at an altitude of 750 m is surrounded by meadows and valleys. The exposed stone on the outside affirms the traditional character of the place. Inside, the presence of wood, combined with contemporary decor, provides a feeling of home.
