Vacation rentals in Ciudad Quesada

This place was AMAZING! The pictures don’t do it justice. Magdelena had amazing suggestions for local restaurants and excursions. She was also very responsive and helpful if anything did arise. The place was spotless. Although it is not walkable, not was not the point of this place as we wanted to be as immersed in nature as possible. Obviously with being in the rainforest we did have bugs inside often, but from other reviews we expected that. Overall, the most amazing Airbnb experience we have ever had since using this app.

Breathtaking view of the Arenal Volcano and the lake from our room. The beautiful flowers & plants attracted hummingbirds right up to our balcony. The onsite restaurant had friendly staff and delicious food - recommend the natural juices and desserts! Loved having breakfast included. Our room was more spacious than expected. Our stay felt very safe, secure and peaceful. Easy drive to explore La Fortuna, hanging bridges and sloth tours.

We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we arrived, the sweeping panoramic views stole our breath. Our hosts went above and beyond, greeting us with baskets of freshly picked fruits each morning that fueled our adventures around the farm.

Elidier’s place is hands down one of the nicest Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. The photos are great, but the space is even more beautiful in person—every detail is so well thought out. The view of Arenal Volcano and the peaceful rainforest vibes made it feel like a true escape, but we were still close enough to enjoy everything in La Fortuna. The beds were super comfy, the water pressure was amazing, and check-in/out was a breeze. The hosts were super helpful and quick to respond. We actually changed our trip to spend more time here instead of Tamarindo just based on the home—and I’d make that choice again in a heartbeat.

We had a great short stay, could return already to continue discovering the many things to do, bathing, hiking, and the like. Juan helped with every necessary hints and recommendations and was always responsive and open for questions. Many thanks to you Maribel and Juan! We enjoyed our stay! It's a nice, clean home with scenic views in an authentic, safe community. We bought a few basics for breakfast (eggs, queso blanco, milk, coffee, juice) at the nearby community mini-market (a few blocks away) so we could make breakfast at the place. If you want fresh fruits & veggies, you should stop at a bigger market on your way (La Fortuna? Or El Castillo?). We ate dinner twice at the nearby La Terraza restaurant, which was good. We loved the batidos de fruta (fruit smoothies/shakes - 'de leche' ('of milk') . My favorite is the batido de papaya (de leche). My kids also tried the strawberry, pineapple, maracuya (and I think others, too!). We enjoyed the dishes we had there, too. Internet at the house can be spotty, but there's some cell reception, too. If you're on vacation and just checking your email from time to time and researching things to do in the area, it's fine; if you're looking to be a digital nomad, this is probably not the place for you.

Incredible experience! Would highly recommend staying here while visiting La Fortuna. It is very close to all the key sites. Jose makes the experience extremely easy. Check in is seamless. The interior is spotless. An amazing deal if staying in La Fortuna for a few days.

Wonderful stay! Very private location a bit off the beaten path. The home was comfortable and the gardens are gorgeous! Milton showed us around and taught us how to eat green mango. We felt very safe at his place. Loved getting local tips and info from him and his wife. Just felt like we were staying with family.

Wow what an amazing view! Also an amazing garden full of hummingbirds and other lovely birds. Friendly horse that came to visit twice and reached its head over the fence. Neighbor Lilander gave us a picturesque horseback ride with a gorgeous jungle hike to a private waterfall. El Castillo is a remote, steep village. The bakery is terrific and the little market is super helpful. We enjoyed La Ventanita and Fusion for dinners. Anna and the other hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. Thank you!!
