We loved staying here. The house was quiet and in a gated community. We had everything we needed - plenty of pillows, blankets, etc. Kitchen was well equipped, and there was enough space for each of us to have our own space away from each other. Slightly further out from town, but that’s what we wanted. We chose this place because it seemed to have some typical Costa Rican charm! Would recommend!

Thank you for a wonderful stay outside of La Fortuna. Accommodations were fabulous. Air worked well, chef was amazing, and space was exactly as described. There is a reason this home has so many y 5 star reviews. Magdalena is always responsive immediately and available for any needs. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay! It's a nice, clean home with scenic views in an authentic, safe community. We bought a few basics for breakfast (eggs, queso blanco, milk, coffee, juice) at the nearby community mini-market (a few blocks away) so we could make breakfast at the place. If you want fresh fruits & veggies, you should stop at a bigger market on your way (La Fortuna? Or El Castillo?). We ate dinner twice at the nearby La Terraza restaurant, which was good. We loved the batidos de fruta (fruit smoothies/shakes - 'de leche' ('of milk') . My favorite is the batido de papaya (de leche). My kids also tried the strawberry, pineapple, maracuya (and I think others, too!). We enjoyed the dishes we had there, too. Internet at the house can be spotty, but there's some cell reception, too. If you're on vacation and just checking your email from time to time and researching things to do in the area, it's fine; if you're looking to be a digital nomad, this is probably not the place for you.

We loved how close to town we were but still seemed private and secluded! The area was calm and quiet we loved having breakfast outside our cabin! The area surrounding was stunning the inside was spotless !!! We also met their friendly little kitten! Place was awesome can’t stop thinking about it can’t wait for the next time we are in La Fortuna.!

Wonderful stay! Very private location a bit off the beaten path. The home was comfortable and the gardens are gorgeous! Milton showed us around and taught us how to eat green mango. I loved our stay here!!! The photos didn't do the property justice!! The hammock was wonderful, and there were ample places to sit around the property! Loved spotting the wildlife on and around the property, and always found that we finding a new hidden gem at the property. The pool was a great size. Appreciated having a washing machine for clothes. Found our host to be extremely responsive and accommodating. Recommend them and this property with no hesitation at all!! Found the soda at the end of the street on our very last night, and it was so good!! Regretted not walking up there sooner in our stay.

Cute and humble home with BEAUTIFUL views. Lots of beds in the rooms. One of the rooms has AC unit and does well cooling the home. Hosts are so kind and helpful. Ask about tours too, we toured with Daniel and he was GREAT! Definitely need a car or hire transport, home is in a little remote area but that allows for such beautiful views of the volcano. I’d definitely stay again

We spent 3 nights here while visiting the LaFortuna area. A private and quiet location yet close to the town and attractions. Very spacious for all 7 of us. Would have loved to have stayed longer.

Paula was a great host! very responsive at all times. the villa was wonderfull. Right in the forest with monkeys in the trees that you could watch from your deck. a beautiful creek is also in your backyard that you could swim in! the pool was beautiful and well maintained. Driving up to the property may seem like it's in the wrong area but once you arrive it's a gated area with beautiful maintanence. would 100% stay again!
