Stayed for a weekend break. Really peaceful location with amazing star gazing opportunities if the sky is clear at night. It was for us! Easy 10min walk down to Chesil Beach. Great beach cafe at nearby Hive Beach. Bridport, West Bay and Lyme Regis short drive.

Wonderful! A really tasteful and charming conversion of a small village chapel in a delightful village within easy reach of Dorset's stunning Jurassic coast. Everything was precisely as described. Stephanie is a super host, she is immediately at hand and very helpful, but utterly discrete. Really cannot recommend this beguiling listing enough.

This is a charming small cottage. There is a tiny space outside with a table and chairs. We didn’t use the cooking facilities but it looked like everything you’d need was there. Most importantly the cottage was very clean and the two single beds were so comfortable we had a great nights sleep every night. There is a pub a few steps away which isn’t open on a Monday and Tuesday. Our dinner there wasn’t great but the staff were. Amongst others, we also ate at: The Three Horseshoes The Club House The Lemon Tree The Manor Hotel And all these places served great food and staff were attentive and friendly Puncknowle is a lovely little village. There’s only houses, church, pub and the Manor House there. It feels safe and is very quiet. It’s not far to beaches and pubs etc.

We had a wonderful two night break at the Old Apple Store. The accommodation is just perfect for two. Well equipped kitchen, really comfy bed and sofas. The upside down, open plan living area is well thought out, light and roomy. The weather was kind to us and we enjoyed late afternoons sitting on the balcony, listening to the birds and watching the sheep and chickens. Judy and Martin are perfect hosts and the welcome goodies were much appreciated. There are so many lovely places to visit nearby and we hope to return soon. Thank you Judy and Martin.
