Great house that fully matched the descriptions. The house is nicely decorated and there was nothing missing. The location in the mountains is fantastically several hours of hikes from the house. Janine is the contact person on site and is (German speaking) with advice. The bread roll service Janine is also very nice if needed.

We had the most beautiful stay in Pettenasco at Luciano’s place. From start to finish, we felt right at home. Luciano was so kind in picking us up from the train station and his wife dropping us there on our departure, which was a big help when travelling with a baby and luggage. The home was clean and beautifully decorated, everything worked and was well stocked. We received some lovely breakfast supplies which was great as we arrived after the shops had closed. The home is walkable to the town centre and lake, and a great location for some lovely walks, visiting nearby villages and enjoying a slower pace. We loved our time there and would highly recommend.

Beautiful comfortable and authentic house, beautifully renovated, where it is cool even in high heat. The view of the rooms is splendid. Géraldine is very welcoming. Stresa is a 10-minute walk away, a little more on the way back because the slope is steep but it's a pleasure to be able to do everything without a car. We had an excellent week and we will be back for sure!

Fun, fabulous and friendly. We loved our stay at Mauro’s place. It is in a great location for exploring Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. We were very comfortable, had everything we needed and were even able to park our Motorhome. Mauro’s artwork was an added bonus. Highly recommended.

Very nice apartment, small but intelligently arranged on three levels, suitable for a couple with a child of school age and tastefully furnished. Even on winter days of discreet cold, the accommodation was very warm. Easy check-in and checkout with good flexibility from the host. Great cleanliness. Parking space practically one minute from the house. Enviable location, the apartment is in fact in a very quiet alley, but it remains a few dozen meters from the center of Santa Maria Maggiore and therefore also from shops, restaurants, etc. Thank you Wally, recommended stay!

We had a great stay with friends in this magnificent villa located next to the lake and with a beautiful view of the mountain. There are plenty of activities to do, good restaurants and Mrs. Kristina, a very nice personnes, advised us on restaurants and activities to do and I thank her and with the swimming pool it was incredible. Overall, I recommend this villa to family or friends.

We had a pleasant stay at Daniela's. A good welcome, available and spoke very easily with us! The view of Lake Maggiore from the home is the highlight. The place is peaceful. However, you should not have large vehicles in view of the access roads! I recommend it!

Walter is a great host, very friendly. His place is spacious, comfortable. Kitchen contains everything one needs. The bedding is great. The location is quiet and with a beautiful view of the mountains. Highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Santina's place. The apartment is modern and tastefully furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything necessary was available. The location is super central, in one minute you are already on the lake promenade. There you can directly reach the small harbor and there is a good selection of bars and restaurants. Everything worked great with check-in too! We will be happy to come back. ☺️

We stayed a couple of days and two friends, the very nice and helpful host helped us with clear directions and made us feel like we were at home. In general, it's a little bit in the middle of nowhere but a 10-minute drive from various lakes and attractive areas.

Wonderful place, very kind staff. Truly professional managers. Photos posted on Airbnb doesn't reflect the location that's actually much nicer. An experience beyond all expectations, a real discovery. We'll definitely be back.

Very quiet accommodation with a great view, very well equipped and bright. We felt like we were in a real Italian house. Located in Méina, the rental is very well placed for beautiful visits near Aronia and Stresa. We highly recommend this listing. Emmanuel and Patricia

We chose to spend a few days on New Year's Eve in this wonderful location, also to keep our two furry puppies away from the noise and clamor. The choice was more spot-on than ever, waking up on New Year's Day overlooking a breathtaking view of the lake was wonderful. Everything was perfect, the nature, the paths in the woods, the tranquility and a cozy, warm, well-kept home, like being at home. Sara was very kind to us, 10/10 hospitality with honors! We will definitely be back

What a superb spacious apartment, fitted to a very good standard , the welcome drinks and bread were most appreciated The view from the terrace was amazing and the location was perfect, 5 to 10 minute walk to the supermarket,restaurant,shops and the ferry crossings. Verbania itself was lovely, quieter than Stessa but still had a good vibe. Isola Bella and Superiore were our favourite islands with restaurants bars and shops, whereas on Isola Madri you had to pay for the entrance to the palace and gardens and there was nothing else to do if you didn’t. The Saturday market which you could see from the apartment, was worth going to. Fiorella was an outstanding host and looked after all our needs. Would love to visit again.

Andrea’s apartment was clean, spacious, and matched the description. The kitchen was well-equipped and Andrea provided many recommendations of places to see, restaurants, and local amenities. The apartment is a little further away from the downtown areas and ferry terminals than we expected, but it meant a lovely walk along the water everyday. This beautiful location and the lovely little cafe across the street are highly recommended.

A perfect stay that met my expectations: a beautiful, peaceful place, close to other cities to discover the region, very comfortable bedding, pleasantly scented bed linen and towels, a caring host. 🙏 Despite the unpredictable weather, I had a great time at Dennis's!

Luciana is a great hostess. We felt very comfortable and were very warmly received by Luciana's parents. Our children were also very and there was everything you need for babies/children! The property is clean, spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped. We lacked nothing. In a few minutes, you are at the lake and many excursion destinations are easy and quick to reach. Mavi’s place is the place to stay when you are in Stresa. Spectacular view of the lake. Nice well equipped space for you to relax and have an espresso on the balcony. There is a free parking lot just below the building which makes it super easy to park. Mavi is very helpful and quick to action. We highly recommend to stay here.

Everything was fine. There was only one problem - it was difficult to close the windows. The apartment met expectations.
