Townhouse with beautiful view over the lake to Stresa and the mountains of Switzerland. Very practical that you can park the car in an underground parking and enter the house through its cellar. Good mattress with typical German feather beds and a direct lake view from the master bedroom’s bed. Our dog enjoyed the garden and the balcony (master bedroom) very much. It was very easy for him to climb up the stairs to the first floor, because the granite steps are roughened so they are not slippery, even when wet. There is a beach area (Cerro Beach) on the way to the restaurant Il Chiosco di Cerro where dogs are playing in the morning or evening and ours was warmly welcomed to join the group. We charged our car in Laveno-Mombello next to Cafe Vela (harbor promenades) and next to Via della Pergola, which brings you to the Sasso del Ferro gondola. But there are plenty of other charging stations around so we never got in trouble.

Fantastic location with a view over the Largo. The terrace and pool are really very nice. The apartment was spacious for 4 adults and 2 children. There are 2 excellent restaurants within a short distance. We enjoyed the quiet location very much, the only negative was a neighbor's dogs. Unfortunately, these were often loud at night.

Thank you Kristina for the lovely time we had at your place! It was exactly what we needed! This is a must-book. Kristina is a very friendly, proactive and involved host. The accomodation is fantastic. The salt water pool is kept squeeky clean by Kristina (every day she cleans it herself). The view from the pool is fantastic. We had our 11 month baby with us and Kristina provided all amenities we could wish for: quality cot, quality baby chair and some really nice toys! Although the house is a bit remote, there is a lot to do within a 15 minute drive. One of the cleanest lakes in Italy is a 10 minute walk from the house which is lovely as well.

Sara is the best host I've ever encountered. Her house is beautiful and the setting is stunning. But, much more than that, Sara's attention, care and kindness were remarkable. She did all the things a good host does, but also went above and beyond to make our stay very special - including welcome pastries and a even a custom cake for a birthday we were celebrating! Truly exceptional.

Luciana is a great friendly and communicative woman. She was always quick to respond to our messages or questions. The house was perfect for us: my parents and brother slept in one apartment and my husband, our sons and I in the other. The weather was very nice, so we could sit outside a lot. We had little to no trouble with mosquitoes and there are screens all over the house. In less good weather, the seven of us would have been in one space that would have been somewhat cramped. It is possible, but I would have found that too tight for an entire week. Please be aware of this. Within a 5-minute walk you will find the small supermarket of Edoardo. This incredibly friendly man goes out of her way to help you well. This has worked very well with some words in German and almost no English and a very nice, cozy daily contribution to our holiday feeling. When you walk in the evening from the fence towards the chapel, you have a chance of a beautiful sunset overlooking Lake Orta.

Great housse, very authentic and quite big, we had plenty of place for 5 adults and 1 teenager the view is amazing, quiet environment great place to rest and resource, the terrasse is well equiped unfortunately we couldn't use the small swimming pool to refresh after a hike as there was a ban on pools due to hear wace apparently.

We felt comfortable in Umberto's quiet and well-kept apartment. The co-host Silvia is very helpful and available at any time. Special thanks to them. The surroundings offer a lot of beauty, very convenient for various activities. The terrace with the beautiful view of the lake is perfect if you don't want to do anything.

We enjoyed it very much. Have already stayed in several vacation homes and Monika's house is actually also the best in comparison. The location is quiet and you are very private, but the whole thing is topped with the fantastic panoramic view of the lagoon. The house with pool and garden invites you to stay permanently and offers children many play opportunities.

We loved our stay in Flavia's home. Her and her son were very welcoming and warm. We were travelling with 3 young kids under age 7 and this was a great place for them. They loved playing in the enclosed courtyard and it was a beautiful place to eat as a family. The view was fantastic. She had everything we needed and we are most disappointed that we did not plan more time here.

We found the place right away. Christian and Laura gave us a video description of the route. Check-in was smooth with key box. The apartment is super clean, cozy and wonderfully quiet and picturesque. The place is perfect if you want to be completely alone. We loved everything and will definitely try to stay with Christian and Laura again next year for a few days. Everything was perfect for us!

Gianluigi's house is very nice and practically furnished. The location is good: you can go many sides and you have many possibilities to visit something. Gianluigi is very friendly and willing to help if needed.

Great cozy house in a very quiet location. The house is especially suitable for couples due to its size and amenities. But our daughter (almost 4 years old) also liked it very much. We were all very comfortable. It is very original, I liked that. Toddlers should either not be able to walk or be able to walk stairs very well. It was very clean and everything necessary such as dish towels or dishwasher detergent was available. There is no unnecessary decoration around. Marco is very nice, responds quickly and overall everything was uncomplicated.

I already have recommended a clear arrival instructions. In addition, it is not suitable for people with difficulties in mobility. otherwise, Fabio and his mum are great. I love the area.

I loved it at Corte Di Brenta. It is an old style Lombardy Court house, part of a classic Corte Lombarda, northern Italy. In particular I loved the two main bedrooms, each with their own mosaic terrace, where You can sit peacefully sipping a good drink or enjoying some local good food. Lovely view of the surrounding mountains from the back terrace. Great shower cubicle in the upstairs bathroom, with a rain shower and jacuzzi. All is there for your confort and an easy life, and a good holiday. Lovely garden too. Just make Yourself at home. Plenty of fun on offer too in that beautiful area of lakes and mountains. Great eateries and patisseries too, just ask Andrea or the locals. Two places from Me: Circolo Di Arolo, and Pasticceria Marabelli on the Varese Lake. For a great night of food and JAZZ head for Il Sorpasso, Laveno Mombello, on Lake Maggiore. Must book in advance. Life is Good @Corte Di Brenta.

Paola is a super host, she makes you feel right at home, including our 2yr old border collie. The lake view at the flat is the highlight of our stay. The little personal touch provided by Paola is the added bonus on top. The garden and the surrounding hikes and lake is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended

Perfect for unwinding and just taking a deep breath. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the fully equipped kitchen – nothing was really missing here! Ideal for anyone who likes to cook for themselves. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We would come back anytime!

We really enjoyed our vacation in Ghiffa. The accommodation in the small charming town and the balcony with the beautiful lake view let us experience the Italian "dolce vita". ☀️ The place was super clean, very well equipped and cozy. Grazie Marco for an exceptional stay in Orta San Giulio! This was one of the best experiences (from Airbnb or even hotels) we’ve had. Marco was incredibly responsive and communicative, and very kind. He picked us up from Malpensa airport, and even drove us to Milano after our stay. We were travelling with our toddler and Marco very kindly coordinated with the child car seat rental provider to have the seat ready for us. The apartment is in a quiet area that is super close to the piazza. Upon arrival, Marco provided water, local beers, and local biscuits that were delicious. The apartment was incredibly clean, tidy, and nicely decorated. The kitchen was equipped with everything you might need, and the coffee was great! Details like the lovely bath products and slippers, really made our stay stand out, as well as Marco’s hospitality. We would absolutely recommend Marco’s place for your stay in Orta. We would love to come back and stay in Marco’s other property! Grazie mille!

We had a great vacation at Marco's apartment. Patrizia with dog Lilli are on site and super nice. No matter what, she always helps and gives tips for the area. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

Leonardo's house is very clean and has a wonderful location on the mountain! There is a very good restaurant nearby! The streets are narrow, but good to drive!

Beautiful and well-maintained house with a great garden and barbecue, very well equipped and clean. Within walking distance are 3 restaurants, in 10 minutes you are at the lake and in Luino. We had a lovely week with our dog at Roberta's house. Her parents live upstairs, but you have the garden to yourself and absolute privacy.

We had a wonderful stay :) The accommodation was beautiful, very clean, and the lake was the perfect spot to relax. Luca and his family were incredibly welcoming. He was always super friendly and easy to reach whenever we needed anything, which made everything even more comfortable.

Casa Eli was such a perfect spot. We swam in the lake at Alana every morning and then went hiking in the mountains in the afternoon. Cambiasca is a lovely little village with a great pizza restaurant, a couple of bars for coffee, and a 5 min drive for groceries. We especially enjoyed sitting in the terrace under the shade, and so appreciated the beautiful space Roberta has created with the exposed brick and high arched ceilings. Gorgeous - highly recommend that you stay here.
