Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Princeville

Debra and her husband (and her friendly dog Hoku) were all so welcoming. This is a great location a block from the ocean. Debra was a great communicator and responded quickly when we needed something, but also gave us space and peace throughout our trip. We will stay here again next time we go to the west side!! Also, great surf spots near by.

This home is in a remarkable location with beautiful gardens and situated on a golf course with very few people. It is extremely private and has great amenities. A true gem!

Beautiful home in a great location. Perfect for 3 couples and an infant. Shops, groceries, park and path in a quiet desirable neighborhood. Our family had a wonderful time!

My girlfriend has a sixth sense for finding amazing places (she hunts recommendations like treasures) and once again she nailed it. This property delivered - spotless, spacious two-bedroom layout with efficient cooling that saved us during some hot Kauai days. Best part? The location. You're on one edge of the island's half-circle layout, which was perfect for us. Less traffic, fewer crowds, no sprawl. Just a quick walk to stunning beaches and a short drive to Hanalei, our favorite town on the island. We woke up to gorgeous views every morning. Mala the cat became our unofficial vacation buddy, showing up for afternoon naps on the regular. You'll need to keep the bedroom doors open at night for the heat pump to cool you. Also grab groceries before arriving - the kitchen starts completely empty. Worth every penny for a perfect Kauai home base.

This was a perfect place for our family vacation! We loved the location. It was a quick drive to Hanalei, a short walk to the coffee shop and grocery store, and a lovely bike ride to the Anini Beach trailhead. The home had everything we needed plus the bonus details of AC in the bedrooms, six bikes, ping pong table, hot tub, outdoor shower, plenty of beach gear for snorkeling or lounging. We enjoyed having a relaxing and quiet home to come to each evening. Our adult kids (who are on their own in busy careers) came with us so the time to just relax and be together was great. We all agreed that Deborah’s lovely and quiet home is the perfect place and we plan to stay here every time we return!

This was the PERFECT place to stay on the North Shore of Kauai! The house was immaculate and very well stocked. The neighborhood was gorgeous and peaceful. The hosts were very responsive, friendly, helpful, and even had a wonderful gift basket awaiting us when we arrived. This was the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at and we highly recommend it! Our kids all agreed.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house as a family of four. The property is beautiful, peaceful, private, and quiet. The house is full of rustic charm, unique furnishings, and colorful art. The location is perfect for exploring the North Shore. We loved the easy access to Kalihiwai and Kauapea beaches. Judy was a very helpful and responsive host. We appreciated that she had the lights on for us when we arrived late at night. The North Shore of Kauai is a special place and staying here made for a wonderful holiday. We’d definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay. The home was beautifully decorated and had very comfy beds and great bedroom AC. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals. We loved sitting on the lanai surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers and loved the soft sound of the Palm tree fronds rustling in the breeze. Nice constant ocean breeze outside helped keep us cool outside. The area was very convenient and walkable to Brenneke Beach and Poipu Beach. Several good restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive. The shops at Koloa were very nice for shopping and restaurants. And Koloa town was also very close and nice for shopping and had some food trucks. Easy 25 minute drive from airport. An hour and 15 minutes to Tunnels Beach on North Shore. Easy 20. We enjoyed snorkeling on Poipu Beach and Tunnels Beach. The home was very well equipped for all our needs. Can’t wait to return. :)

Clean place, close to the beach, restaurants and coffee shops.

The location of the place is in a very nice and quiet residential area, but there are restaurants and shops nearby and it is only 15 minutes from Hanalei town. We also enjoy nature walks along the golf course with the beautiful view of the mountains and the pool and jacuzzi. The space is larger than it looked in the photos and everything is in very good condition. The only drawback is that they charge you extra taxes when you check in directly at the hotel. I think that should already be included in the total price when you book.

Home was stocked with coffee pods, paper products and trash bags. Linens were clean and beds were comfortable. Beach chairs and umbrellas were in excellent condition making our beach experience very relaxed and comfortable. Staff were all extremely friendly. The views from our rooms were beautiful. A great stay for our family.

Great place to stay in the north of the island. Close to Tunnels Beach and if you want to see larger waves. Did not like the food trucks, did not feel they are clean enough.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience thanks to Sheryl —from the beginning, she was incredible, above and beyond to help me find this awesome place that exceeded my expectations. I truly appreciate her kindness and professionalism, and can confidently say that I will be booking through her again for my next trip. Highly recommended. Gratefully!

The Kapaa Garden Apartments were exactly what we needed. The decor of the apartment is full of character with eclectic art and beautiful flooring. Just a lovely place to come home to after a day at the beach. The backyard looks out to the Sleeping Giant mountain and is so peaceful. There is any kind of seating you need to enjoy your view. There are Roosters and chicks around the parameter to watch and listen to. Also various pet cats around who are happy to greet you at your door! And then there are all the beautiful statues and Buddhas anywhere you walk on the grounds. You don’t need to practice Buddhism to find peace in this amazing collection of yard pieces. Restaurants and shopping are walking distance. Don’t miss going to Haole Girl for a Macadamia sticky bun and other goodies. The walking/bike path along the ocean was right across the street and what a view! Matt lives on the grounds and was an amazing help with any questions. He was a delight. We can’t wait to return!
