Family-friendly vacation rentals in Princeville

The area was absolutely gorgeous. You can watch the sunrise from the lanai which we did every morning. Even in February the house was warm, but we slept with all the windows open and our bedroom door to help with air circulation. The nearby hideaways beach is at the bottom of a steep paved path, but it was an easy walk we did a couple of times. The BBQ is at the bottom of the path so it's not really convenient for grilling and bringing food up to the house but you can eat at the picnictable there. The space felt mostly clean. The beach gear located in the guest closet was not organized and was pretty much thrown in there making it difficult to hang clothes. Also, no hand soaps in the house except one little bar in each bathroom and no supplies in the shower. I always prepare for that so bring your own toiletries and you'll be good to go. Overall it was a great place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at our condo in Princeville. The condo was perfect for our family of 4. Everything was as described and Larry was very responsive with any questions we had. The location was right in the heart of princeville near the shops, restaurants and grocery. We enjoyed morning walks/runs along the nearby trail to the ocean and enjoyed the mountain views every morning!

We had a truly wonderful stay! This home was the perfect home base for our trip. The kitchen was fantastic and well-stocked, which was ideal since we cooked most of our meals. We loved spending time on the balcony, where we were treated to stunning views of waterfalls and rainbows—truly magical. The layout of the home was perfect for two couples, with two primary bedrooms on separate levels, each with its own en suite bathroom. It gave everyone plenty of privacy and made the space feel especially comfortable and well thought out. The home itself has a clean, calming, almost zen vibe, and it’s beautifully decorated. We also really appreciated the hosts’ generosity with local recommendations, which helped us make the most of our time in the area. Highly recommend—would absolutely stay here again!

Me and my wife stayed at Tessie’s place for a week and absolutely loved it! Tessie’s place had everything we needed after long days spent outside doing activities! It was a home away from home and when we had slight problems Tessie was there to help and resolve anything within minutes. If You’re looking for a nice place to stay while you visit Kauai Tessie’s place is the perfect spot!

Passt..alles da was man braucht..sauber ,,Lob an die Dame die noch am reinigen war als wir angekommem sind ..der Parkplatz war nicht zu finden ..man hatte die falsche Nummer aufgemalt..mussten lange suchen aber auf Nachfrage wurde das Problem gelöst..insgesamt ist die Unterkunft aber sehr empfehlenswert

Mahalo for the beautiful place. Our yearly trip to this beautiful island was everything and more.

This house configuration was perfect for our group of seven including two couples and two teenagers. We appreciated having two master suites and the room with twin beds for the teens. The AC units were a godsend and helped to reduce the humidity indoors. We used the hot tub a few times. We loved the beautiful tropical landscaping and the interior decor featuring Hawaiian artifacts and artwork. The kitchen was well supplied and we used the rice cooker and the ice cream maker. The beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach umbrellas received a lot of use from our group! Being close to the neighbors meant that we had a certain amount of noise with their comings and goings and of course there were the ubiquitous roosters crowing. But otherwise we found the setting peaceful. The neighborhood was convenient to a good grocery store and restaurants, and Hanalei just down the hill.

This is an absolutely wonderful property. The condo is spacious, clean, and really well stocked (particularly the kitchen). It also has a very private feel which we loved. Layout is great as well. The complex is great with a very nice pool and BBQs. One of the better places we’ve stayed!

This unit is perfect for anyone who like peace and quiet , safety , many options for beaches and state parks especially ha’ena state park for the beautiful Nepali coast and Kalalau trail. The trail shuttle can pick you up at Princeville Makai Golf course at 7:30am and 9:30am everyday! If you’re camping that also means no camping reservation over night parking required for a rental car ( those are like winning a lottery ticket ) Anne and Greg are responsive to anything we asked for, they provide all the basics of a kitchen with a studio priced for at least a 3 day stay minimum, we enjoyed our time there and the bed is so comfortable it was truly difficult to get up! Television equipped with all apps so you can log into your Netflix and Paramount +, coffee maker for that great Hawaiian coffee ( bounds coffee grinder ) only thing missing was a French press but I bet if we asked it would have been provided. Beach towels beach chairs body boards etc ( you get the picture ) loved it,

We loved staying in the condo . Particularly the view of the ocean from the lanai . We sat there with our coffee in the morning and wine at night. Beautiful gardens around the complex and access to close beaches was convenient.

We had an unforgettable stay and would absolutely love to return. The resort was even better than we expected—beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. Our room was lovely and thoughtfully appointed, and the amenities throughout the whole property were top-notch. We especially loved the view from our little lanai, and the location was perfect—a ~10 minutes walk or quick golf cart ride to a stunning beach ideal for snorkeling and swimming, plus just a short stroll to the amazing resort pool and hot tub. The only minor challenge was cooking for our baby, as the unit doesn’t have a full kitchen. There’s a shared kitchen area with a stove, sink, and grills about 200 yards away, which made meal prep a bit tricky with a little one. That said, everything else was fantastic, and we truly had a wonderful stay.

From the moment we saw the photos of this house we knew this is the Hawaiian architecture we were looking for. But this place looks even better in reality! We enjoyed the beautiful rooms with views over the endless ocean, the sound of the waves, the “bird’s concerts” in the morning or the fragrance of exotic flowers in the backyard. This place is equipped with absolutely everything you need (specially the kitchen) making it a great “home away from home”. And Suzie is a great host. She answered all our questions , always willing to help! The surroundings are amazing as well, it’s a pleasure to take a walk in the neighborhoods at sunset. Also, Hanalei Bay is very close. What a great way to start our trip to Hawaii! Hope to come back to this place one day!

Aloha - magical week in Kauai here with the most spectacular accommodations. The views alone are worth the stay, which can be seen from nearly every room and multiple lanais. A real treat to watch the sea while cooking inside our family's now favorite kitchen on the planet! Perfect for our family of four mermaids with our 8 and 11 year kiddos. Everything was exactly as pictured - the tiered layout of the home, beautiful decor and design sense, extremely comfortable beds and big clean bathrooms. Princeville and North Kauai are magical, with our new favorite beach & snorkeling just a short little adventure climb down the hill. Yet, we were never sad when the rain fell hard at times and extreme hazard ocean conditions landed us inside a day or two because the vacation was just as much in this home as out of it for us all week. Mahalo - I wish we could keep this place our own little secret! Will be back.

We were blown away by the place. Far exceeded our expectations of cleanliness and comfort. Made our vacation in Kauai that much more memorable. Thank you! Hopefully we will be able to return in the future and will definitely stay here again!

This property was THE BEST UNIT IN ALII KAI! I rated it so high bc if the amazing view and the ability to just walk out to the point and sit on the Kanu and watch the whales breathing and playing in the water. The Brie was spectacular . The only thing that I could say that was negative is that the furniture and unit is very outdated! The cushions don’t match the couch in size or print. But they were clean. The unit was well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. With a few upgrades this unit would have been spectacular. But you are definitely paying for the amazing view. Like I said, I think it is the best unit in-the complex! Will come back again if given the opportunity!👍❤️

Kristine's place was just as listed. It accommodated 4 adults and 3 kids perfectly. The location was very peaceful, it feels private even though the neighbors are so close. We used the pool area once during our stay. The pool reaches about 4 feet at it's deepest point, so perfect for kids. The hot tub was nice. Very close to the market, restaurants, and various happy hour locations. The parking garage is a tight fit for two cars, but we knew that prior to our arrival. Overall, it was a great house. Looking forward to staying again.
