Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Prazeres

Beautiful home, exactly as described. People were very helpful and we were close to everything. If you’re looking to get away for a peaceful vacation this is a great house to do so.

Very nice apartment with very nice view. Johnny is a very friendly and supportive host. It was great to sit out in the sun in the morning. Very quiet, 10 min up the steep hill from Ponta do Sol.

This place is absolutely GORGEOUS! It looks way better in person than even in the photos ! The view is the definition of perfection ! You can see the stars at night it’s so peaceful and in the morning it’s beautiful ocean views ! The house was huge also and super clean ! The showers had hot water which is a must for me ! Sonia even stopped by and she was super kind. Don’t hesitate to book it !!

We had a great stay and the location is sensational. There was everything you needed and we were also set up the travel cot before arrival.

What a view! Amazing. During the colder months, I highly recommend paying to have the pool heated (30 euro/day). Once the water warmed up, we used it every day and it was comfortable even when the weather was cold. There were plenty of extra towels. We also enjoyed the pool table and ping pong. House also has easy access to hiking paths (one trail passes immediately behind villa). The few drawbacks of the villa were limited seating in living room (an additional small sofa and some end tables would help for groups of 4+), kitchen has a full set of dishes but not quite enough for two meals (i.e., ran out of plates if some were still in dishwasher from the prior meal) and, for us, the clothes dryer was broken (hopefully will be fixed soon). None of these distracted from the chance to enjoy breakfast on such a patio. Orlanda was very responsive and even met us in town to show us the way.

We chose to stay at Constantino’s stunning home as our last stop before leaving the beautiful island, and couldn’t have asked for a better base to end our time in Madeira. Constantino provided many local recs and was super responsive. The home was clean with everything we needed. Can’t say enough! Thank you!

Great, very clean and spacious stay with fantastic roof terrace! Bed slept very much good, quiet area, convenient that there is a small supermarket just around the corner (nice sandwiches too). Larger supermarket in Calheta 3 to 4 kilometers. In the house a lot of closet space and also the kitchen was equipped with every comfort and all kinds of stuff, including washing machine, dishwasher and dryer. Angela has thought of everything! Communication is also always fine, even in advance. If we come back to this area of Madeira, we would definitely love to choose Angela's beautiful home again!

Perfect stay! The place was clean and well equipped. The host was very accurate in location and chekin and super attentive. I recommend the place and if possible I will return again.

Where do I begin? The trip was unbelievably beautiful. From the amazing Airbnb location with an even more amazing host to the majestic and magical scenery of the island. The landscape was astonishingly lush and green, the water a glistening blue like I have never seen before. For anyone into hiking or just a relaxing vacation on the beach, this island has got it all. The hikes are unparalleled! There is something for everyone, from relatively easy, flat, and stunning coastal hikes to intense routes at crazy elevation. Our host Bruno was extremely helpful and a kind soul. The amenities, bathroom, and bed were clean and well maintained—especially the Jacuzzi with the extraordinary view! Bruno, meu amigo, you are most definitely living the dream on this incredible paradise of an island. Once again, thank you for everything! We would love to come back someday. We stayed in Funchal for week while visiting Madeira for the first time. Betty's place is a great hub to base your stay from - walking down town to everything you need: shopping, restaurants, cable car, everything! And there is a great bakery and a delicious Thai restaurant withing two minutes of the apartment. Having a parking spot is great. Betty is super sweet and was very responsive if we had any questions. I wouldn't hesitate to book this lovely apartment again - great stay!

Really liked staying at Little paradise, not far from center yet quite. A lot of stores around and great restaurants. Also promenade along the sea quite close. Ricardo was really friendly and helpful. Recommended.

This was the perfect stay for my Madeira getaway! I was greeted by my host who was friendly and welcoming and showed me everything I needed to know, and then he left me to enjoy the spectacular view of the ocean. My host was always available to answer questions and even helped me with a transportation recommendation to get to and from the airport. I found the location to be ideal for everything that I wanted to do, and grocery shopping was close by. I am already thinking about my next trip to Madeira and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Our stay at Jose’s place was perfect! The apartment looked even better than in the photos – clean and very comfortable. Jose was super friendly and gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. The parking in the garage was a big plus. Highly recommend!

Perfect location! Convenient and functional apartment

Very big apartament and clean, parking lot was also fine, quite crowdy on the evening but we always had a space.

The apartment is in a great location. Tonnes of mixed restaurants nearby (some tourists may prefer if you want home comforts and others authentic Portuguese food) all just a walk away. A short walk to many local supermarkets too which is helpful when you need to quickly grab things. Private pool which was never busy and always quiet! We rented a car and the parking in the apartment is so accessible. We used the apartment as a base for many hikes so drove various distances from here to explore Madeira. Excellent host, great apartment and would stay in this airbnb next visit.

Lovely apartment. Great with free parking in the basement. Close to airport, water and Funchal. Beds and pillows a little hard and duvets a little cold. Friendly hosts. Highly recommended.
