Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Prazeres

Stayed a week and we wished it was longer! The house really fits the description, surrounded by banana trees we could also see and hear the waterfalls from the cliffs and the ocean from below. It was so idyllic! We were so worried about it being cold but the house is well insulated, it was almost too warm in the night. We also had no issue at all with mosquitoes and spent some nice breakfasts and dinners on the terrace. The hosts were also as great as the accommodation! We were directly met with some fresh bananas. The rest of the week they were incredibly helpful whenever we encountered any issues, even if it wasn’t a question related to the house. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, even offered some extra blankets and a heater that we didn’t need in the end! The street leading to the accommodation is indeed steep, we’d recommend a smaller rental car but with a good amount of horse power still. Nonetheless the way up to this gem is absolutely worth it!

We had a wonderful vacation at Casa da Janela! The house is beautiful, very cozy and perfect for family moments. It was impeccably clean, well-equipped and full of little details that made us feel truly at home. The landscape is simply relaxing — with stunning mountain and ocean views. The soft sound of the waves and the absolute calm were the perfect setting to recharge. The location is excellent: isolated enough to ensure total tranquility, but close to everything we needed. A big thank you to the hosts, who were always attentive and available.

We had a wonderful 2 days stay at the house. outside has lots of nice seating areas, perfect place to eat breakfast and dinner. The kitchen has every supply that we needed to cook. Overall a great house to stay.

The house is an old farmhouse and very spacious. Instead of windows, some rooms have doors to the outside. Very nice is the conservatory, where you can sit even in less good weather and enjoy the magnificent view. The kitchen is well equipped. We sometimes disturbed the traffic past the house. We were warmly welcomed with fruit and Madeira wine. Many thanks to Emanuel for the friendly accompaniment and the good recommendations. I can only recommend the house!

One of our best AirBnBs ever. Exactly as advertise, Sofia's place is large, comfortable and beautifully situated. Jardim do Mar is our favourite spot on our favorite island. Would return to Sofia's place again and again - unfortunately next year renovation is planned but the current house is wonderful. Sofia is extremely helpful and responsive - I don't remember ever waiting more than 15 mins for a response. Our 5 weeks stay flew by. Highest level of recommendation.

Beautiful house! Amazing host, Paula makes sure everything is great. She even dropped by in the evening to bring new sheets when our baby threw up on our bed. Too sweet. Also the communication with her was the best ever. Big pool, great garden to have morning coffee in the sun, lovely village on walking distance. Good to know that the water pressure of the showers are a bit low, we were able to get a good shower anyway. Paula is super flexible, we were allowed to stay in the house until our flight left that day because there was not a guest coming that day or the next. All in all we would recommend Paula’s place 1000%.

A property set in a stunning location, the views of Funchal were amazing. The property has a private pool within spacious grounds. The house is well equipped with everything a family needs, particularly the kitchen. Carlota and Babi were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any correspondence.

The place is really very clean, really nothing to complain about! it was perfect! there is space with a beautiful kitchen and a view of the beautiful sunset!! We enjoyed the saltwater heated pool, a real treat! Thank you again so much for this beautiful stay and for your welcome, your attention and your generosity!!

The property easily lives up to the description and the pictures. The houses are fully equipped, very nicely decorated and comfortable. The swimming pools offer stunning unobstructed views of the ocean during the day and of the sky at night. There are no road noises, the place is truly calm. Grocery stores are a few minutes away by car, as are restaurants. Numerous hikes can be found in the region. The host is very reactive and will provide many recommandations related to restaurants and activities. Renting both houses to two families is a great way to spend time together while also having some privacy. I would go back there without any hesitation.

Claudia is very warm and the apartment is very well cared for. Each apartment has its own veranda and there is a shared swimming pool with sun loungers and sitting area.

Our stay was wonderful! The apartment was super nice and clean! The Host did a great job of making sure we felt comfortable and offered a lot of great recommendations .

we had a great stay in Catherine's apartment. this is a fantastic and superior apartment which is very well equipped with everything in terms of cooking facilities, utensils etc and is very comfortable and relaxing . The Balcony is spacious with fantastic views of the harbour, ocean and town. The rooftop pool and gym are an added bonus . we had the pool to ourselves on most days during our stay. there is a really good fish restaurant just along the street and the main bus stop for funchal etc is just at end of street we would reccomend this apartment to anyone planning a stay in Camara de lobos. The apartment was very clean with all new equipment . There was some road noise during morning traffic but not too bad as just single lane one way street and there is good standard of double glazing. Catherine and Anna Maria communicated well with us at all times and ensured we had everything we needed.

Waking up with the sea and blackbirds singing, exloring the region of Funchal and closing the day with a swim. Great place!

I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs and Pedro is the #1 host, hands down. He was friendly, accommodating, easy to communicate with and held high integrity. There was some construction with one of the units (which was beyond Pedro’s control) and he was genuinely concerned if it affected us (it did not take away from our wonderful experience!) The bright decor, comfortable space and the sounds of the ocean make this place the go to stay in Madeira. Would happily go back our next visit to Madeira!

Very nice rental, no complaints, everything is very good and clean. Recommended. We were only able to communicate with the owner via internet and key boxes. The proximity of the airport is clearly heard from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Cais Dos Anjos is everything you have dreamed of. It is private and secluded. You feel like you have the whole ocean and surrounding beach to yourself. We could not wait to get back to this little slice of heaven after our daily adventures. You will never regret doing the 286 steps!

The accommodation was ideal for a vacation in Funchal, with many restaurants and cafes fairly close by. We had not appreciated how steep the hill is when walking up from the old town, but managed the walk virtually every day during our 3 week stay. Prospective visitors would be well advised to make use of taxis (costing around €6 from the town centre to the property) or check out the Number 22 bus which runs from town to a stop outside the property. Had we looked at the bus details earlier, we might have saved ourselves some hill climbing. We watched the New Year fireworks from the road outside and would really recommend this fantastic experience to others. Carina is a very considerate and supportive host and was always quick to help, whenever asked.

My family and I looked the house and location. It was clean, spacious, and great location. We loved our trip to Maderia and would definitely use and recommend the house to others.

This house is the best air b n b we have ever stayed in, the attention to detail here is incredible, down to the stone cut soap holders, so much room, incredible location, you could not ask for more, this place will be in my memory forever… just do amazing, 5 stars simply is not enough

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Jean. We were met by Andrea and made to feel right at home. The view from this unique property, high above the sea, is spectacular as the Atlantic unfolds right in front of you. The somewhat challenging drive up (as in much of Madeira), is well worth it. Being on the south coast near Ponta do Sol, is an added bonus.

A warm and warm welcome from Martine and Richard. They left us a beautiful house in a green protected garden, which is furnished with a lot of love for detail, for a relaxing time. You can feel wantless and comfortable in this Portuguese gem! You don't need anything, everything has been thought of and everything is modern and high quality.
