Vacation rentals with beach access in Prazeres

We had a lovely stay in Madeira. The location right by the sea is fantastic, the view breathtaking. There is plenty of parking and even an elevator for heavy luggage ;) The place was clean and as pictured - a dream. Communication was also perfect at all times! Really nice :) We went on all kinds of excursions and this apartment as a starting point was great. Anytime again, and I'm sure we'll be happy to come back here in the next few years :)

We had a wonderful holiday. The flat is very clean, comfortable, quiet and cozy with beautiful views and within easy reach from amenities. Iri is a great host. Very helpful and responds promptly. We would definitely go back.

Particularly beautiful was the sunset on the large roof terrace. The location is spectacular. Directly on the sea, right behind banana plantation and steep wall.

Waking up with the sea and blackbirds singing, exloring the region of Funchal and closing the day with a swim. Great place!

The apartment was very convenient near the shops and restaurants and sea front. There was everything we needed in the apartment, comfy chairs and beds. Nice linen, lots of pillows. Bedside table lamps. Charging point. Dining room table to eat at and kitchen table to prepare food with nice little stools. Lots of pans and crockery. Microwave and sandwich toaster. Coffee machine and kettle. Some tea bags and sugar and coffee, washing up liquid, shampoo and toilet rolls to start you off. Great supermarket underneath. Nice little table and chairs on the balcony and throws to wrap up in if it’s a little cool. Great to sit and people watch, traffic is a little noisy when doors are open but quiet when closed so slept well. Nice blackout curtains. Hairdryer. Washing machine and clothes airer plus pegs. Umbrellas. Just everything that we needed.

Very nice place to stay! very nice furniture and fully equipped kitchen. Patricia is friendly and responive. The place is very central and one minute from the pebble beach. The rooms are a little humid due to the windows to the north and to the river behind the house. We enjoyed the stay a lot, reccomend! also the view to the banana plantation is cool.

Thank you Veronica for letting us stay here. You have a little charm here for sure. Loved sitting out on the front balcony watching the ocean something I could do all day. The corner restaurant was an added bonus and the food and service was great.

We really chose a fantastic apartment here! It's just like it looks in the photos and the description is accurate. If you want an apartment just outside the city centre, in a quieter neighbourhood (São Martinho), that has unbelievably stunning views of the hills, sparkling lights and the ocean, this is the one. The road is a dead end so there are no revving motorbikes or cars, only in the distance the typical barking dogs of Madeira. Going to sleep at night and waking up to this view was a stunner! We were there for one week and had everything we needed to make meals, watch TV and comfortably get ready (two of us). There are 3 balconies and 2 ways to get to the home. Be prepared to climb and descend hills if you don't have a car! But this is part of the experience. An added bonus was on-property cat, Hippie, who you get to feed and cuddle outside every day. She was such a sweetheart! Leonor is also one of the most proactive communicators on AirBnB. We had such a wonderful experience.

Antonio’s place is beautiful. We really enjoyed cooking on the bbq and we ate every meal on the Veranda which is over looked by trees and flowers - a well kept jungle garden! The place was a good size, very clean and tastefully decorated. We loved the pool - the water was cool and fresh - it felt like a treat. We had a car that managed the steep Madeira slopes and there is a designated parking spot. All was great.

Very nice little house with everything you could need in it. And a nice big garden, for breakfast and for chilling. Unfortunately, we were only able to have breakfast outside once because the weather was not so good. But Mariana can't do anything about that! Her partner Miguel is also very friendly and immediately helpful with small problems. Thx, you two!

What a view! Amazing. During the colder months, I highly recommend paying to have the pool heated (30 euro/day). Once the water warmed up, we used it every day and it was comfortable even when the weather was cold. There were plenty of extra towels. We also enjoyed the pool table and ping pong. House also has easy access to hiking paths (one trail passes immediately behind villa). The few drawbacks of the villa were limited seating in living room (an additional small sofa and some end tables would help for groups of 4+), kitchen has a full set of dishes but not quite enough for two meals (i.e., ran out of plates if some were still in dishwasher from the prior meal) and, for us, the clothes dryer was broken (hopefully will be fixed soon). None of these distracted from the chance to enjoy breakfast on such a patio. Orlanda was very responsive and even met us in town to show us the way.

Great, very clean and spacious stay with fantastic roof terrace! Bed slept very much good, quiet area, convenient that there is a small supermarket just around the corner (nice sandwiches too). Larger supermarket in Calheta 3 to 4 kilometers. In the house a lot of closet space and also the kitchen was equipped with every comfort and all kinds of stuff, including washing machine, dishwasher and dryer. Angela has thought of everything! Communication is also always fine, even in advance. If we come back to this area of Madeira, we would definitely love to choose Angela's beautiful home again!

Beautiful place on top of the mountain. The sea nearby for a lovely dip in the sea. Good place as a base to other parts and places of the island. Cozy street nearby with restaurants for coffee and treats and for a good dinner. Nice house to stay in with everything a person needs for a nice holiday in Madeira

The cottage was fantastic. It was quiet. You could sleep very well. The sunsets from the living room were breathtaking. You get hungry for bananas because banana trees are everywhere. The host made great recommendations and always directly the Google Maps coordinates. Thanks for the great and personal accommodation.

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment, which offers a stunning view and a prime location in the south of Madeira, near Funchal. It’s easily accessible and perfectly situated for exploring the island. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madeira!

Our stay at Jose’s place was perfect! The apartment looked even better than in the photos – clean and very comfortable. Jose was super friendly and gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. The parking in the garage was a big plus. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay in this apartment. We loved our first stay and that is why we came again.

The apartment is in a great location. Tonnes of mixed restaurants nearby (some tourists may prefer if you want home comforts and others authentic Portuguese food) all just a walk away. A short walk to many local supermarkets too which is helpful when you need to quickly grab things. Private pool which was never busy and always quiet! We rented a car and the parking in the apartment is so accessible. We used the apartment as a base for many hikes so drove various distances from here to explore Madeira. Excellent host, great apartment and would stay in this airbnb next visit.

Delila was an great host. Apartment was clean with all the amenities. Location is great, close to the beaches, stores and restaurants. Bus stop is right in front of the apartment.
