Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Posillipo, Naples

We had the most amazing time on our honeymoon staying here! Carlo met us promptly upon arrival, walked us to the house and gave us tips for getting around Positano. The terrace was amazing and offered spectacular views. This side of Positano was less crowded and we were happy to not be in the craziness of the main beach and port. It was a quick walk to literally everything. We hope to come back, and highly recommend!

If culture is what you are after then this place has bucket loads! place is well connected and all the best sights of Naples are within a short walk or train right away. we happened to stay on the weekend of the Italian league final that Napoli were in, so brilliant for atmosphere but the walls are thin even with the ear plugs and the constant fireworks and mopeds could be hear from the street below. worth noting that there is only a small window for free check in. Having said all the the Spanish quarter is certainly a sight to have experienced.

Dario was an excellent host and the apartment was cozy and great for a 5-day stay. Avvocata is an amazing neighborhood (if you don't mind climbing walking uphill or downhill in Naples), full of history and close to parks, museums, metro stations and Pignasecca market.

Stefano’s place was really big and spacious - well renovated, bright with high ceilings. Perhaps because it was located in an older bldg, it was very cool inside, a nice refuge from the hot days. The coffee machine, washer and AC were great! Clear instructions on everything, including local recommendations which was so appreciated. Stefano was a very responsive and helpful host - even helped us book a taxi for the airport on our last morning. Grazie mille!

We will never forget our first trip to Italy and the views from this beautiful property will forever be imprinted in our memories. If you are looking for an authentic experience away from tourists and crowds, but surrounded by beauty, this is your place. Michele is an incredible host who will tirelessly answer your questions, anticipate your needs and make arrangements to ensure you get the full experience. Great accommodation, quiet, large roof terrace and equipped with everything you need. I highly recommend the accommodation and would book it again immediately. Sights are easily accessible on foot. Great communication with the hostess.

We have just had an amazing stay at Carolina's beautiful house!! Carolina is an exceptional host, very welcoming, informative and helpful. She went above and beyond. The views were stunning from the Terrace, we loved sitting out in the evening and drinking Carolina's family made red wine. She even supplied us with fresh zucchini, onions and basil from her garden. Praiano also comes highly recommended. This area is so special. Thank you so much Carolina!!! We didn't want to leave.

Where to start... prior to our arrival she provided her information so she could help pick us up with our bags and give us a personal tour. She treats her home with pride and her guests like family. Giovanna and her family all helped make our stay memorable and comfortable. She was flexible with us since we had a late wedding to attend and really cared about us personally. She remembers the little details like what you like for breakfast and even wished my husband a happy birthday. The view is beautiful, the room is cozy, her food is made with love and my heart is so full. My husband and I left feeling so cared for. Everyone is respectful of space and Giovanna is just a lovely person I hope to visit again. If you want an ordinary experience go elsewhere but if you want something extraordinary visit Giovanna <3

Stayed with wife. Location of apartment was less than a minute from the busiest street in Napoli, but surprisingly very peaceful and quiet at night. Breakfast is served round the corner at Andrea and Luigi's upmarket and busy cafe. It consisted of coffee and large croissant each. Very nice. We had a minor hiccup with our taxi to the airport but Luigi sorted it for us and we were very grateful. He said "hey, it's my job". They care about their guests and its not just some grotty Airbnb appartment like i've stayed at before.

Was such a nice stay by the ocean! Really enjoyed our time here.

This is such a beautiful apartment and the location can’t be beat! Walkable to everything….from the busy streets to the little side street businesses, it’s close to everything you’d want to do in Naples! The apartment itself is huge…so nice! And we loved the communication and ease of the entire process. Everything was fantastic…thanks again!

Great views from the balcony. Right on the water with a ton of restaurant options. Very spacious. A little difficult getting in and up the elevator but once we figured it out was very easy.

This apartment was incredible! It definitely is just as gorgeous in person as in the pictures. The area had plenty of restaurants and markets to grab anything you need in a short walking distance. It also had the biggest balcony that made people watching and having a glass of wine a must do activity while you’re here. The only thing that people might not enjoy is the level of street noise at night if you don’t sleep as heavy as I do.

Véronique’s place is right up there as one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed in! Everything from her friendliness, instructions to getting there, meeting us and showing us around to great recommendations. Any queries and Véronique was always quick to respond. Her place is in a beautiful villa overlooking the Bay of Naples with lots of history. We loved the private terrace with its great view of the bay. We had everything we needed, a perfect place for a couple. The local area of Vomero is great and also lots to explore, good transport links too, metro and buses nearby. Visit Castel Sant’Elmo , a must see to get the great views of the city and bay. Easy to get to a funicolare to get down into the old town. We highly recommend Véronique’s place. We would definitely come back!

This home is just like the beautiful photos but even more spacious than I expected. We traveled with 3 teenage boys (five of us in all) and had so much space here. The host, Pierluigi has thought of everything. It is so well stocked and so clean. Amazing terraces with water views, large kitchen, clean bathrooms and bedrooms. Very close to shopping and restaurants. This is the best property I’ve ever stayed in. And on top of all that, Pierluigi is so responsive, thoughtful and gracious. You couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend and we would stay here again for certain!!

We really enjoyed staying in Mary’s apartment. It feels very homely and very interesting with many design pieces in the apartment. The location is amazing, so easy to walk to everything. Despite being in the centre of Naples. The apartment was quiet particularly the bedroom, so it was easy to sleep. Mary is a lovely person who stayed to welcome us even though our flight and taxi were delayed by over 2 hours. Naples is amazing, very lively and quite noisy but the people are so friendly and it feels very safe.

This apartment is a beautiful, spacious quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of via Toledo. Perfectly located for those who are wanting to explore the heart of the town!

Armando was a great host and always responsive. He managed to help us do early check in when asked. Great location for the price! Definitely come again if I come to Naples again.

Paola and her daughter Zelda are very friendly, smiling and very responsive hosts. The accommodation is in a great location for getting to the historic center (5 min from the train station). The terrace is really a plus to relax in peace after visiting Naples.

We cannot recommend the apartment and host highly enough. Francesca's proactive, friendly and thoughtful service made our stay much more than a great apartment in a beautiful location. She helped to make our stay a special and memorable experience. Her knowledge and connections with the businesses, including restaurants (La Terrazza o' Curniciello, Luca's, Lemon Likes) and transportation (Gianni - Transportation King of the Coast), and the people of the area were incredibly helpful. In fact, the local community was welcoming and worked together to ensure that visitors enjoy their time there to the utmost. We are truly grateful...!

The apartment was typically Neapolitan, a beautiful entrance hall with a very charming period-style elevator. The apartment is next to the elevator, without being noisy, it has all the comforts you need and the large window overlooking the balcony lets in the light. We felt comfortable there immediately. Brando was great, warm, welcoming and very helpful from start to finish. As we rarely see. We definitely recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Enrico’s property! It was a beautifully decorated, bright apartment in a perfect location close to public transport, the beach & many restaurants. Enrico is a fantastic host, very friendly and helpful with amazing recommendations for food/things to do in the area. We look forward to coming back in future. Thank you! 😊
