Vacation rentals with lake access in Portugal

Our stay at José's was a complete success! The place was beautiful and the view of the horse meadow simply fantastic. We especially liked the lovingly prepared breakfast basket in the morning – a great gesture! Helping to feed the animals was also a real highlight, especially for nature lovers. The opportunity to take small hikes over horse and cow meadows made our stay perfect. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back if we are in the area!

We had a fantastic stay at the villa. Highlight was the unbelievable views from the pool and terrace. The villa and garden with pool & basketball/football court is completely private, perfect for small groups. There are some great local restaurants and river beaches, and Porto centre is only a short drive away. Be warned - there are lots of steep and narrow roads! João was a brilliant host - greeting us on arrival, and easy to reach throughout. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

We had an amazing time at Fernando’s place! The scenery is beautiful and the house was perfect for the relaxing trip we were hoping for! The locals in Valhelhas are so friendly and fun to be around. Our stay in this small village was fantastic! We can only recommend Fernando’s place!

Wonderful stay at Sofia‘s place. My daughter and I created some wonderful memories. She was really helpful the entire time we were there, especially with my broken adapter and suggestions for what to do with a limited amount of time. Would like to stay here again someday. We stayed 3 nights, but longer would have been nice too. The house is spacious, clean and close to the city center. With nice restaurants and beach. Even with children, this seems like a great location. The possibility of using the bikes is a nice bonus. And there are bike paths :-). We highly recommend it.

The space is simply stunning, perfect for resting the mind and recharging the soul. And as if the surrounding nature and tranquility of the place were not enough, we had charming visitors: adorable kittens that appeared unexpectedly and immediately won our hearts. They were a sweet and caring asset, which gave even more life to our stay. We recommend it with our eyes closed - and with our hearts full.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We’d recommend getting a bbq for the balcony as the abundance of fresh fish was perfect for a braai.

A great house in a beautiful location! You can't get any closer to the sea and the sound of the sea accompanies you day and night. The house is very tastefully decorated and super clean. You make yourself at home straight away! Constantino is very helpful and has great tips. Without him, we would never have found the little beach in Seixal... We were here 14 days and enjoyed every minute. Thank you, Constantino!

Extraordinary experience!!! We could not have asked for more. From our first booking, Isabel communicated welcoming warmth. She was not only our host, but also our tour guide service. She arranged for airport transport, greeted us at the door and gave us a personal introduction to Porto. Through her recommendations, we booked a wonderful walking tour of the city and a magical full day excursion to the Duoro Valley. The carafe of port on the kitchen table was the icing on the cake. Isabel truly loves her city and her country and her enthusiasm made us feel so very welcome. We cannot give this experience any higher praise than to say we WILL return.

What a wonderful home we stayed in! Carla and Paolo are amazing hosts, very responsive and friendly. The house is beautiful and very well located next to all main attractions, restaurants, shops, promenade and beach. We had one small issue during our last day— we had no hot water but Paolo was proactive as soon as I messaged Carla and stopped by to check the boiler. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

Pedro's place was a cozy place in the middle of the beautiful Furnas surroundings. Pedro was helpful and provided a lot of information about the activities and restaurants at Furnas. and also thanks for the little intentions towards us at the place ! Thanks you very much!

We loved the flat. Very close to the beach and the town. It had everything we needed. We were especially pleased to have a washing machine for our sports gear. The flat faces north, so not good for sun-worshipping. But we loved the coolness and calm. Air con works a treat if you need it. Would definitely stay there again. Great vale compared to the uber-expensive Pestana hotels.

I would definitely come back to this apartment. It has incredible views, and we have seen beautiful sunsets, but the house also has all the amenities, it is tastefully decorated and everything is taken care of in detail. Everything was super clean, and Eulália made sure we were doing well at all times, answering quickly and even coming when it was necessary to fix something. I highly recommend it, and I would return without hesitation.

This is an exceptional Airbnb. Fernando is a welcoming host and an interesting man to talk to. The house is spacious, generous and peaceful. It is also beautiful, with character, and perfect spots for every season. The sitting room must be lovely in winter. The walks in the nature reserve were lovely! You won’t want to leave.

Perfect house, excellent location

Stayed here for a week. Loved the natural pool, the butterflies, the froglets and bull frogs, the bird song, the smell of lemons and herbs and the faint chance that we might spot an Iberian lynx all added to the romance of the place.

An authentic and breathtaking landscape of beauty, serenity; a very friendly host, available and discreet; ideal accommodation with a swimming pool in the heart of nature... a peaceful oasis to come and relax in peace. An excellent stay to be repeated!

We had a brilliant time at Canto Do Zêzere - the house is really clean, spacious and comfortable, and the lakeside location is absolutely stunning. Boating on the lake was a highlight! We would definitely come back again.

Tiago is in my top five Airbnbs in the world. I am very used to it, and I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of response, as well as everything it offered. He gave us very clear instructions and the accommodation was exactly what we expected. Of course, you need a car to visit the surroundings. There is ample free parking if your friends want to come and join you. Tiago left us a lot of gifts. I've never seen anything like it in my life. The accommodation is equipped, more than what you will need. The courtyard and garden are indescribable. You don't want to miss the hanging chairs. The garden is also perfect for eating out. I have absolutely nothing negative to say and Tiago is a really great host who was very helpful in making the stay enjoyable. He gave us a lot of tips that led to great surprises. We ABSOLUTELY recommend this place.

I had the pleasure of staying at Gaismas place for a couple of days to visit relatives in the area. The place is very nice, clean, practical and has very lovingly been created by Gaisma and her partner. It's removed from the main road and you shouldn't be afraid to use unpaved roads, but that's how it is in the whole area. The description to get there Gaisma sent through before arrival was very accurate, and I had no problem getting there. Her dogs are very friendly and curious, but also understand that no is a no. Greatly recommended.
