Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in Portugal

Ana's Quinta was perfect for us. When we were leaving it felt like we were leaving home. The farm with its gorgeus gardens, adorable little dogs, big pool and huge space for walking is truly connected with nature. I have to give great compliments for the breakfast because it felt like a feast every day with all the food with local specialities that was given to us. Local bread, cheese, fruits, nothing was missing. And in the end, Ana with great advices and great communication It is located ideally for island exploring and there are a couple of good nearby restaurants. Ponta Delgada is 15 minutes drive away. All in all, all recomendations from us. Thank you Ana! ❤️

Anna's hotel was a very nice place to stay. Breakfast with a 5-star view included, and incredible service. We enjoyed the food and slept well, even though it was a very cold week. The view from the hotelroom to the mountains and see is beautiful. All in all, for the price you pay you get everything you need, plus the knowledge and kindness of Anna. Thank you! We will be back ;)

We really loved the place and the location, a very quiet place, the pool, perfect rooms, perfect, and we had a great dinner and wonderful breakfast. Such a cute little town and really neat estate. The views are amazing from the pool. It was a 15 min walk downhill to the beach where there’s a little restaurant. Lots of dogs and roosters in the area so sounds of nature might wake you vs sounds of the city. Luis was super responsive and saved us immediately when we locked ourselves out once. You felt safe in the area, especially with the gated property. Loads of great restaurants in walking distance, especially Sisudo and restaurante adraga, such friendly owners. Do NOT go to A Adega do Coelho. Not friendly for tourists. I would totally return, loved it.

really nice peaceful place in the mountains. the decor in the room is a little dated but everything worked and was clean. Anna is a fantastic host with a lot of great recommendations of what to do. also the restaurant across the road serves delicious food at a reasonable price. It's nice to have it so close to spend an evening when in such a rural location.

The Rewilding accommodation has a great value for quality. It was Fernando who received us who was very kind and generous, offering us a very good tea. The room was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The place is super quiet and makes you want to go back. I had the opportunity to participate in a Picnic organized by Rewilding with local and seasonal products with a superior quality. The almond paste, the very good homemade sweets and chorizo that you can buy in the store. We will return because I feel at home!

Duarte was the perfect host. He went above and beyond. I had arrived in Lajes and not planned my layover correctly so I was a bit stuck at the airport. I messaged Duarte to ask about an earlier check in and he was on his way to personally pick me up from the airport within ten minutes. He gave me a tour of his wonderful nature reserve and gave multiple options for my room as it was low season. He then gave me a ride to the grocery store and helped me pick fresh produce right from his garden. I had lunch with his adorable cats in the most peaceful setting. And then Duarte was there to drop me back off at the airport. An all round wonderful experience, I only wish I had stayed longer to see more of the island.

It is a peaceful place with a beautiful view, better than the photos. The room was super comfortable, clean and our stay was perfect. Breakfast was really good. Tania the host and person I talked to, was super nice and friendly. Would love to return.

I had a peaceful couple of nights in Monchique. Franks place is easy walking distance from restaurants and shops making the location super convenient if you don't have a vehicle. There are also beautiful walks into nature from the property or you can just sit and relax in the garden. Communication was great and quick and the guys working there were super friendly :)

A super nice stay 20 minutes by car from Ponta Delgada. It's really worth it. It's perfect for relaxing, the services Eduardo offers, as well as how quickly he answers and the recommendations he gives, make it very worthwhile. 100% recommended

My stay with António and his lovely family was absolutely amazing. I was able to stay in the old farm house, which has an absolutely breathtaking view over the sea. Every morning you can see the sunrise from the bedroom, which was an incredible experience. I could not have asked for a better stay, António and his family made me (and my dog) feel so welcome. I hope to be able to stay here again someday!
