Wow. One of the best air bnbs that we have ever stayed in. The place is even better than the photos. The outside space is private with an amazing view of the lake. Laglio was a perfect place for us, quiet and authentic. We took the bus and ferries to get around as we were without a car. As long as you are organised and ready for a busy bus it’s completely doable without a car. Nico’s food recommendations were all excellent. Our favourite place was the family butchers / cafe close to the apartment. We went there nearly every day for drinks, steak, meats and cheese. We also cooked some basic meals at the apartment which we recommend as it’s a lovely space. Nico and Wendy were amazing hosts, so helpful, responsive and accommodating. Thoroughly recommend this place and we are already looking at their other properties for another holiday! Book now ☺️

Casa Sarina is very nice and quietly located and has a fantastic view of Lake Lugano. In the village of Carona there is a small kiosk that provides everything for everyday needs. For larger purchases, however, you have to drive down the serpentine road to the valley. From the property you can either walk directly or after a short drive take wonderful walks through Vico Morcote to Morcote or to Monte San Salvatore. The place was very clean and as described by the landlord. Markus and Anna are very loving hosts and enriched our stay with many tips. We would choose this accommodation again any time.

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

This home is in an outstanding location overlooking the lake and Lugano. We were blown away by the view from every window. The location was very peaceful, and the home was extremely well-stocked. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony or the covered deck every day (depending on how hot it was!). The home is located a quick drive to downtown Lugano, and a short drive to the top of Monte Bre (highly recommend!) and to Gandria (also highly recommend). We fell in love with Lugano and the surrounding area thanks in part to this house…we will definitely be back.

Very clean and tidy. Easy to find, great parking spot right in front of the house. Perfect communication with the hosts. And a lovely scent from the jasmin right in front of the door (in May). Highly recommended!

A very appealing, quiet accommodation, perfectly equipped (not too much and not too little). Ideal place to discover the Sottoceneri, by boat, on foot or by car. Architecturally very lovingly developed, reduced and as an entire unit. Everything is functional and purposefully implemented. I'd love to come back for a next stay....

The apartment features a beautiful and simple design with stunning views of the mountains and passing trains — truly a highlight of our stay. It’s well-equipped with most of the essentials, making our visit comfortable and enjoyable. We did encounter a couple of minor issues: the Swiss-type sockets were a bit inconvenient, and while the host kindly explained the situation, no adapter was provided. Additionally, the large garbage container outside was locked, which made waste disposal a bit difficult. Despite these small drawbacks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the peaceful setting and thoughtful touches throughout the apartment.

We used the apartment for only one night, we found it tidy, clean and comfortable, the neighborhood is very quiet even at night. The instructions were clear. We were very satisfied!

We enjoyed our stay with Franziska to the fullest. Such a beautiful place - a charming garden, the surroundings wonderful - what more could you ask for... we had a stopover on the way back from southern Italy with our 3 children. Highly recommended, you are also quickly back on the highway. Thank you Franziska for the wonderful time :)

This is a one of a kind airbnb - an extremely beautiful home. Great for a romantic trip. If you are planning to do significant travel in between towns, it is a bit more difficult location-wise as it is a ~20-25 minute walk (no sidewalk) to Torno for ferries and taxis are hard to come by, but you can plan your day around the ferry times. Monica was very responsive and made check-in easy. Would stay here again.

The apartment was very cozy and according to the pictures. From the couch and also from the balcony, you have a beautiful view. Due to the large windows & skylights, it can get very warm in the summer, although you can at least partially compensate for this with the air conditioning. Stella is a very accommodating host who was also always easily accessible. Cuasso al Piano & Porto Ceresio are rather quiet, less touristy places. There are a few restaurants/cafés, but if you are looking for a little more life, this is not the place to be. Nevertheless, the apartment is also a good starting point for hikes and bike tours.

This was without a doubt one of the best stays I’ve ever had. Anna’s hospitality was top notch and her apartment was incredible. The garden is such an added bonus and a great spot to enjoy the beauty of Blevio. We will come back!

What an exceptional experience, thanks to exceptional hosts, in an exceptional place! I cannot recommend Sandra and Raffaele's place enough. Aside from the stunningly beautiful property, comfortable, and well-equipped accommodation, their kindness was truly very special and much appreciated. They generously took the time to collect me at the train station, and drop me off upon departure. My visit went by in a blink of an eye; I wish I could have stayed longer in what was a truly idyllic setting. I will absolutely return and grateful to have discovered their place. We spent a long weekend at Davide's studio and cannot rave enough about the views, the location and the studio itself. The views of Lake Como are spectacular and we were lucky enough to have front row seats to 3 fireworks shows while there. The location is very conveniently located right by the ferry and near a market, a bar, and a few restaurants. Finally, the studio itself was perfect for two...so well appointed - we had everything we needed!

Davide was an amazing host, super fast responsive and with a very professional attitude. He send us very clear instructions for the check-in and the check-in was very easy. His place was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The parking space also super convenient for our car and the bikes we carried in order to explore the surroundings. I really recommend Davide’s place and we will be glad to come back 😀 Thank so much. We really enjoyed our stay!

Just perfect! The place was super clean, tastefully decorated and very cozy. The bed with topper was incredibly comfortable – I rarely slept so well. Everything is at ground level, barrier-free and therefore also ideally suited for people with disabilities. Especially practical: the private, protected parking space right outside the door Host was extremely friendly and helpful The great guide folder with many personal tips, some of which I did not know despite five years of vacation on Lake Como, should be highlighted. The location is quiet, but easily accessible and easy to find. All around a great place to stay with attention to detail – I will definitely come back!

Lovely stay in Lugano! Quick walk to train station and 15 min walk to lake. Modern and updated apartment with stunning views from every room. Apartment had everything - from a washer/dryer to a well stocked kitchen - there was even a levoit fan. Fast WiFi too! While this is listed as a 1 bedroom, the living room has a door and sleeper couch for privacy as a 2nd bedroom if needed. The host Gea was lovely and so helpful. Thank you!

Giovanni was a fantastic host! He is extremely responsive, proactive and always willing to help. We had a number of questions about the area throughout our week long stay and was happy to assist however he could. The unit itself is absolutely beautiful with unbelievable views… even better in person! There are a number of great restaurants within walking distance (the Bar across the street was particularly great for breakfast!). We would recommend having a car while you are there as the ferry service is a bit frustrating to navigate (especially as a non-local). Parking is paid during the high season, but usually easy to find a spot (there is a small lot directly across the street). Couldn’t recommend this place enough, Giovanni is a great host.

Such a wonderful stay! Chu Yi was very responsive throughout our travel journey, we experienced delays but she and her boyfriend still picked us up from the train station promptly and showed us to the Airbnb. It was clean, comfortable and perfect for an in between stay before a flight out of MXP.
