Vacation rentals in Portage Lakes

I recently booked a stay at the Brewers Quarters for a quick get away to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Upon arrival I realized I didn’t have the code for the room. I walked up to the brewery where I met Amanda and her husband. After a few seconds we realized that I had mistakenly booked for the wrong day. Obviously, I was a bit shocked and disappointed. Amanda and her husband couldn’t have been more helpful. They went out of their way to help me figure something out. Ultimately, I was unable to stay, but they offered me a refund and even helped me get the fees from Airbnb returned. They did not have to offer me a refund at all let alone help me with the Airbnb side of things. While I can’t really speak to the room since I wasn’t able to stay, I can say that as hosts Amanda and her husband went above and beyond for me and I couldn’t recommend doing business with them any higher. We will certainly book a stay in the future, this time on the correct day.

The house was beautiful. I would definitely recommend. The surroundings area was absolutely stunning. The hosts were very respectful and responsive.

This location truly had it all. The scenery was beautiful and our children loved fishing off of the dock. It was luxury at an affordable price. Our children are already asking when can we go back! Marcy was a very responsive and flexible host. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

3rd and extended stay at Jody's.... I just love the unassuming location and privacy and right at home feel when you walk in the door.... always exceptionally clean and i got to experience the Snow Globe effect of watching the Snow amongst the wall of windows .... for DoorDash users like myself, no issues in finding the location. And Jody yet again is responsive and caring and hospitable to any needs or concerns. When I'm in Ohio this is where I aim to stay..... youll appreciate all the amenity touches and comforts .... Thanks again 🙌🏼

Traveled with my wife recently to visit family in Ohio. This cottage was very comfortable and welcoming. Woke up on the second morning to the trees covered with a layer of snow. It was a beautiful winter wonderland, if only for a day. Tim and Melissa were gracious hosts, and check-in/check-out was easy and seamless. When the time came to travel back home...we did not want to leave.

Ian’s home is beautiful and the surrounding terrain is surreal. My group had a wonderful time staying on the property and the if an opportunity arises to visit again, we’ll most certainly come back.

The A frame was a nice spot to get away from the kids for a few days. The hosts were proactive and provided excellent and concise instructions. The surrounding area is farmland and there are nearby towns with thrift stores and places to eat. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice place, quiet, comfortable get away to relax and chill. They have many different games to play...you can fish off the dock...we didn't catch much, but still relaxing. a lot to do in the surrounding area as well. Had fun and would recommend!

Stayed here for one night while exploring Cuyahoga NP for the weekend. The town Hudson is super cute and was in a very safe area. Close to the park too which was great! The space itself was just as advertised and a perfect place to rest after a long travel day.

Jennings and Connie were wonderful hosts. Very communicative and helpful. Everything was accessible and easy to utilize. The bedrooms and bathroom were spotless upon arrival and we all felt safe during our stay. It was also close to quite a few restaurants! Would highly recommend and would stay again!

Joe’s house was beautiful and just as described. The house was spacious and very clean. We loved that each bedroom had its own private bathroom. The first floor bedroom worked great for my elderly mother who could not take the stairs. The neighbor is beautiful, we love CVNP. We would definitely stay again!

Tiffany’s was a great home! Perfect location to the University. Close to grocery stores. Super homey and comfortable. Super clean with cute updates. Tiffany was super responsive and a great host. Will definitely stay again!!

this was an excellent stay close to the NFL hall of fame. this Airbnb had everything needed, I'd stay here again, or even for a month stay, in a heartbeat. Marla was a friendly host, and the Airbnb was cozy

We have stayed here numerous times. The house meets our needs.

This is a nice play to stay if you need to be in the area. The interior of the property is much nicer than we expected, and was well appointed. I would not recommend this location for families with toddlers, or people traveling with pets. The listing bullet points says "Private backyard – Fully fenced An open space on the property usually covered in grass", but there is actually just a fenced-in concrete slab. No place to let the dogs out, so they had to be walked in the grass across the driveway. If you have toddlers, this is not going to be an ideal property due to all the stairs, plus many doors don't seem to close and latch properly. Other than missing a back yard that we hoped for, the property was nice and the location was relatively quiet and very convenient.

The place was absolutely beautiful and the views of the lake provided the perfect backdrop for peace and serenity. Mark was very responsive and it was a lovely experience. The kind of stay you wished could have lasted longer!

This place is cosy and nice, I loved my staying here, great surrounding-Portage lakes, and the house has everything you may need.

The king bed was very comfortable, including the pillows. Kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed walking the dogs around the lake and the fenced area.

Had a wonderful time staying right on the lake. Be aware that there are a lot of stairs - not more than one flight; but a lot of transitional steps in between living areas. This might be relevant to anyone with mobility issues. Melanie was an incredible host and helped with all of our needs. The location is in a lovely neighborhood that is fun to explore. We really enjoyed the pier and kayaks provided.

My 10 month old grandson is in Akron Children's Hospital and being able to get all of the family together within 30 minutes of the hospital was wonderful. The house was perfect for our traveling Thanksgiving meal with plenty of seating around the 2 tables. The kitchen was very well stocked and the bunk bed area was good for all of our grandchildren. Thank you Andrew for making a difficult situation more like a normal holiday.
