Apartment vacation rentals in Port Hueneme

The apartment was just as listed. Cozy beds, excellent macrame-style swing in the living room. Small kitchen good for preparing simple meals. Laundry was in the building but note: must have quarters. Upstairs neighbors make some noise in the evening (not partying - sounds like active kids), but apartment dwellers will likely be used to this. Overall, this is a great value in Ventura and is in a safe neighborhood close to everything.

Carina's place was very clean, well decorated, and comfortable. Beds and linens were fresh and everything you needed in the kitchen was provided. As she mentions ahead of time, you do hear the neighbors upstairs but thankfully you're able to get a great night's rest. Communication was very good, friendly, and timely which is always nice and not the case with all hosts. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area!

We had a wonderful stay at Evie & Landon's beautifully designed condo in Ventura. The location is unbeatable—just a short drive to the beach, great restaurants, and grocery stores. The apartment itself is thoughtfully furnished with stylish and chic decor that gives it a warm, modern vibe. It's spacious, with a comfortable living room and two separate bedrooms, making it perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Everything we needed was provided, and the attention to detail really made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Landon and Evie's place. The property was clean, neat, and had a homey feel to it. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, bowls, plates, and everything you need to cook. The location was perfect—within walking distance to both the beach and downtown area. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, quickly answering any questions I had. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would stay here again!

Very Nice apartment home. Jason is a wonderful host. I had no issues just the hot water in the shower didn't really get that hot. But overall very nice stay. I will return when I'm back in town! Thank You Jason

Joel’s place was absolutely beautiful inside and out, it was clean, the views were fantastic we especially loved the fire pit to watch the sunset. The place was very well equipped with everything you might need including soaps, shampoos etc and the kitchen was very well stocked including a coffee machine and a kettle which being British was a lovely touch as kettles are a rare find in the states we have come to realise! The place was easy to find, Joel’s instructions were accurate and clear, he was very responsive host It is very steep to get to and from but the views are worth it! The place is really private you wouldn’t even realise anyone was around, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Tao’s place was very comfortable & spacious. It was really appreciated after a long day of working. They had all the essentials and the decor was very modern. Tao was very responsive when I had a question. The area is very quiet even considering all the neighbors are doing upgrades to their homes they kept the working hours to a decent start time. We will definitely stay here again when in town.

We had a wonderful time at Carolyn and Maurice’s apartment! We had an early flight and were already in town waiting on our 3 o’clock check in when she let us know it was all ready for us, which was a relief because we needed to rest. Just after getting in we were surprised with fresh baked cookies that were delicious! That place was nice and clean and had everything you could need. I walked to the beach morning and night and it was quick and easy. I was very glad to see a first aid kit and beach towels since we had forgotten towels and bandaids. Ventura was home so we were in town visiting family and the place even had Tupperware so I was prepared to snatch my great aunt’s leftovers to enjoy at the apartment later. We were lucky enough to meet both Carolyn and Maurice in the driveway and chat for a bit. The couple times I needed anything Carolyn was quick to respond anywhere from 30 secs to 20 mins on messaging and they were just a minute away upstairs. Great place & hosts! 5 star

Great location and comfortable stay The location is fantastic - just steps from the beach, with the added charm of harbor seal calls each morning. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed for a cozy, comfortable stay. We especially appreciated being able to bring our dog along - it made the trip even more special.

This was the second time that I’ve stayed at Paul and Favian’s place and both times I had a great experience! The room is clean, well-equipped and neatly decorated in a vintage flair that fits perfectly to the laid back beach town. The location is in walking distance to the beach and small local restaurants, and not a long drive away from Vons, Downtown Oxnard , Ventura Harbor and other attractions. Perfect for a relaxed getaway, close to the beach, in a safe neighborhood. Paul is a great, heartfelt person and it was a pleasure to meet him. I’d stay anytime again! :)

This location is very close to Pepperdine in Malibu, which is what we were looking for. Additionally, the access to covered parking was an unexpected value-add that we really appreciated. Ultimately, the convenience of the location coupled with the security of being behind a gate and having covered parking were huge positives. I plan on staying there again when I return for Pepperdine classes.

We had a great stay in Judith’s home. Everything about it was easy. The beds were so cosy and comfortable. The open plan was nice and spacious and she had covered all bases regarding amenities. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and using the communal pool area for a swim. The residents were super warm and friendly and the location was perfect for the beach and the country mart. We liked that we could walk to the shops and restaurants if we wanted to. We would definitely return. Thanks so much.

The place itself is inside a nice little gated community with a very chill vibe. The apartments and parking spaces aren't arranged in numerical order for some reason, but there was no issue finding our way because Kiran sent detailed instructions to help us. The place itself is super cute, with a lovely beachy theme and a small patio and big sliding door that lets in a nice breeze. The surrounding grounds are well groomed and full of beautiful local plants and flowers. The beds are comfy, and the place is clean, well organized, and everything is labeled with instructions to make things easy. And of course, it's right next to the beach! It's easily less than ten minutes to get to the beach behind the complex on foot. I don't know what it's like during the busier part of the season, but while we were there it wasn't crowded, and we had plenty of space to explore the shore and play in the water. This place had everything we needed, and my family had a great stay!

My family and I loved our stay at Rico’s and Cinzia’s place! The apartment is beautiful, spacious and conveniently located. The hosts provided very clear instructions for our late check-in, helping us settle in very smoothly. Highly recommended!

This isn't our first time and will not be our last. I was so happy this place was available for our dates. It is the first we look for when trying to find an affordable, quiet, and private place. Has an amazing kitchen, bathroom, and master bed and we absolutely love it here. Amazing find and the best place ever to stay at with what you get and price. In a VERY quiet community but very close to the life of the beach, the amazing foods, malls, and theaters. Also close enough to LA but far enough from the hustle and bussle as well as traffic. Only reason to give this place a 1 star is so I can keep this great find to myself!😁

This was our second time staying at Rowena’s. It’s so clean and in a great location. We will be back!
