Monthly Rentals in Porlock Weir

This is our second stay here - so finding it was easy and we knew what to expect. The apartment is nicely designed, not huge but certainly big enough with a completely separate bedroom from the living area. The area is beautiful. Porlock is a great little town with pubs, cafes, supermarkets and independent shops. Directly from the AirBnB you can walk to Dunkery Beacon; through Hawkcombe to the top of Porlock Hill; down to Porlock Weir etc.... We think a great walk is to catch the bus to Minehead and walk back along the coast path. We booked both apartments as two couples. Although Apple Store is a tad larger our friend who is very tall (6' 8") opted for Groom's Loft as the bathroom is a bit more spacious. Both apartments were good for getting the four of us (and two dogs) together to socialise. The weather wasn't great, rainy and starting to turn cold. The apartments were very warm and dry - not a hint of draughts or damp.

We had a wonderful stay in this very comfortable apartment. The bed is one of the best we've slept in. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Very close to beautiful walks and amenities. Only slight negative was the noise early in the morning when staff are preparing breakfast for the BandB guests in the main residence but we were not put off by this. We will definitely be returning.

A great place to stay to explore beautiful Exmoor. The second time we have stayed there its clean, cosy and comfortable with fabulous views of the coast and access to great walks.

We had a wonderful short stay at the Storehouse. The place is beautifully decorated, very clean and cosy, perfect for relaxing after long walks in the surrounding moor. The location is peaceful and ideal for exploring Exmoor. We especially appreciated the delicious homemade lemon cake and the warm welcome from our hosts. We'd love to return for a longer stay!
