The garden room is a delightful, quaint building originally a piggery, It is decorated to the highest standard in a contemporary style and is a lovely calm space, in which to relax and enjoy your stay. Modern dimmable downllighting and smaller lamps give a bright or more muted feel according to your need. Central heating makes it warm and cosy in the cooler weather. Egyptian cotton sheets give a luxurious feel to the kingsize bed and ensure a comfortable nights rest. Accommodation on one level.

This room is light, large and comfortable with a beach theme; Chesil beach is only 4 minutes walk away whilst the world famous Portland Harbour is only 8 minutes walk in the other direction. TV, Tea and coffee making facilities are in the room and there is exclusive use of a bath/shower room. Breakfast of toast, cereals fruit etc is provided and excellence and quality are the aim. The host is very flexible, so if you have any dietary needs or preferences, it will be a pleasure to oblige.

The windows overlook the village duck pond and spring and pretty waterfall. There is parking, for your car, at your door. We're in a Dorset village with Trafalgar history, centuries old church, busy pub. The coast is only a couple of miles away. We are on the Dorset Coastal Path and the SSSI Jurasic Coast. £7.50 for a full Dorset breakfast. Evening meal £7 to £12.

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Alisson ! L’emplacement du cottage était parfait, a courte distance du village et au milieu de la forêt. Alisson est une hôte très sympathique, qui s’est très bien entendu avec notre chien et nous donné de bonnes recommandations de balades dans la région. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner (en supplément) qui était délicieux. Je recommande pour tous ceux en recherche d’une escapade nature au milieu des animaux sauvages dans un cadre bucolique.

Really lovely stay at Clare's place. She was friendly, helpful and accommodating. My room was cozy and warm. The shower was a bit wonky though once I asked and learned how to improve the experience, it worked well. The only small inconvenience was not being able to do laundry due to the drying cupboard set up not working. I'd certainly stay with Clare again.

Jan and Patrick made me feel right at home immediately I arrived. Their welcome was incredibly warm - thank you both. The property was exactly as described and met my needs perfectly. The location is great for anyone wanting to access either central Bournemouth or Poole - particularly given the proximity to public transport. A very peaceful and relaxing stay - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jan’s place to anyone planning a visit to Bournemouth.

We were walking the Clarendon Way, which passes right in front of Patsy’s place - so it was a perfect place for us to stop and rest before the second half of our walk. The room was spacious with a lovely little balcony. A variety of breakfast bits were available in the room and a couple of cold ones in the fridge which was much appreciated after 17 miles on foot! The bed was super soft, like a feathery cloud. Patsy and her family were really friendly and welcoming - would totally recommend!

My partner and I had a wonderful time staying at Angela’s place. Her house was stunning - a beautiful space in an idyllic country village with easy walks to the beach (<30 min), the subtropical gardens (~15 min) as well as other attractions. Angela was also an impeccable host who was incredibly welcoming and always did the most to ensure our stay was great. I can’t recommend highly enough, we’ll definitely be back!

It was a pleasure to stay at Hilary's place last weekend. The facilities were spotlessly clean, very comfortable and Hilary could not have been more welcoming. We were attending a wedding at Chewton Glen and Hilary's house was an easy 8-10 min walk so was the perfect location. We would definitely stay again when we are next in the area.
