Hurricane Helene update: our cottage is now open for guests. However, the back of the property near the river is still recovering. Please respect our neighbors as they received a lot of damage. A cozy english cottage that is steps away from the Pacolet River. This cute little house is in the mountain town of Tryon, North Carolina. Tryon has a quaint little downtown with shops and restaurants to wander through. The Pacolet River is connected to the property. Tryon Equestrian 13 miles away

Miss Jo's Cabin, 1 of 3 at Sandy Cut Cabins.

Cozy one bedroom log cabin with large private back deck and hot tub. While being surrounded by nature can be an enjoyable and a relaxing break from hectic day to day lifestyles, please realize that this cabin is in the woods and we do have carpenter bees and camel crickets along with some ants. We strive to keep the pests at bay but they are part of mountain life. Shared spaces include the fire pit along with the overlook bench.

The cabin was perfect for my stay during a horse show at TIEC. It was lovely to return to this calm, peaceful respite after the busy days of showing. The farm is beautiful and the cabin is well-equipped and extremely comfortable and clean. Kim's suggestions for things to do in the area were super helpful. The cabin is an easy drive to restaurants, wineries, Lake Lure, etc. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

This cabin was absolutely perfect! So stylish, comfortable and very clean. Douglas was great with communication and I really appreciated the binder with directions on how to use the different electronics in the cabin, local menus, as well as check out instructions. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone staying in the area!

My husband and I throughly enjoyed Kim’s Tiny Cabin! Her farm is absolutely gorgeous. Romeo kisses were so fun! 🐄 The cabin was immaculately clean and so cute. It’s perfect for a weekend getaway for 2. Kim was a wonderful host. Very responsive, caring, and detailed. The local recommendations were fabulous. We had so much fun exploring Tryon and Saluda! Foothill Cabins -Minutes to TIEC- Lake Lure

This place is extremely convenient to the Tryon International Equestrian Center. It is a direct and quick, 3 mile drive from Kimberly’s place to the center. We rented Kimberly’s place because we were attending a music festival at the equestrian center, so we did not spend much time at the location, but definitely plan to rent from Kimberly again, so we can enjoy the peaceful location of her property. The actual tiny home was cute and more than big enough for a couple with a full sized kitchen, bathroom, generous seating area and bedroom. There was also a grill and large fire pit, that we did not use due to weather and lack of time. The property is also right next door to a winery which we can’t wait to try because it looked adorable and appears to be within walking distance. Lastly, this seems to also be a good launch pad to explore the other attractions in the area as several cute towns and nice hikes are located within a 30 minute drive.

This is a lovely cabin set on a beautiful horse farm. I was able to look out the window and see horses; very good for the heart to see this everyday of my stay. Kim, the host was generous, responsive, and understanding. I stayed here while displaced by Hurricane Helene and she was empathetic and very helpful. The cabin itself is well designed and cozy. It's peaceful and quiet and safe. An all around great listing and great stay.
