Vacation rentals with breakfast in Polk County

Our huge family celebrated our Christmas together at Jill’s place. We just stayed two nights but it was a trip that we will never forget. Being able to fit my entire family and their children comfortably AND our furry babies that are part of the family. We had the absolutely best time playing games, scavenger hunt , eating meals together, and the steam shower was a HUGE plus that my whole family got to enjoy -it was really very special and makes me emotional to think about how nice of a time we had .Since it was the holidays trash accumulates pretty fast, they even brought us an EXTRA trash bin for outside mid stay. I can’t say enough great things about this place!

Elizabeth’s place was wonderful. It was better than the pictures or the description provided. She had every amenity you could think of and each one was of top-quality. The house was cute and well decorated in a quiet historic neighborhood. I will definitely go back and rent from Elizabeth again. I would like to stay there for a longer period of time because it was so relaxing. It was convenient to get to downtown Hendersonville or easy to jump on the interstate and head to Asheville. She had plenty of literature about the surrounding areas available in the house. She also provided instructional manuals for the heating air, hot water heater, and the appliances. The backyard was cute with plenty of amenities of its own, including hammock and chairs. The front porch was darling, and a quiet cozy place to sit. The mattresses were comfortable as well as all the furniture was very usable and clean. I look forward to the next visit to Hendersonville and the elizabeth’s place.

We loved our stay! It was quiet and in a lovely location. The house was super clean and we felt at home. It had everything we needed for our visit to the area and plenty of space to work remote too. There was a power outage when we arrived and for most of the evening and Jessica was very responsive. We enjoyed visiting some local places like cat cafes (Cats at Play Cafe & House of Black Cat Magic) and breweries (Whistle Hop, Turgua and Highland). I love to thrift and can recommend the Asheville Humane Thrift Store.

Sallie is a wonderful host and had excellent communication. The Bungalow itself is a charming space in a very nice location. Would definitely stay again.

A very clean, cozy, comfortable home for our family of 8 to stay in. It was easy to unwind each night, and a beautiful porch to sit on and enjoy the rain we got and all the nature. The host had plenty of toys for the kids to entertain themselves with. We 100% recommend this home!

Dawn was an amazing host, super responsive, great communicator. the place was very secluded but also super close to DuPont, Brevard and all sorts of fun things. it was well equipped in terms of kitchen, towels etc. really enjoyed our stay

We had the BEST stay in Melissa’s charming Airbnb! We were greeted by singing wrens who had a nest in a flower pot near the door. The baby was fledging and parents were encouraging him to fly! Birds were everywhere in the trees and hopping in the beautiful landscaped flowers and shrubs. Comfortable beds, lots of space, lovely architecture and interior design - we highly recommend! Two thumbs up!

Beautiful homey little apartment, we loved it! Everything we needed was there for us

We had the pleasure of staying at Melodie’s apartment while in town for a wedding. It was perfect for our family of 4. Our girls loved having their own bunk beds and the King Bed was very comfortable. Everything we wanted or needed was provided. Melodie was so gracious and very responsive. I only wish we had more time to spend at the place enjoying how beautiful and peaceful it all is. This couldn’t be located in a better area. Loved waking up to seeing the mountains and rolling hills. What a wonderful trip and we’ll be back!

Tamara and Marc were so welcoming and had everything set up for the most amazing experience. There was not one detail left un attended to. They went above and WAY beyond with supplies and amazing treats. For a very small price Tamara prepared the most amazing picnic for us that we had by the creek. We spent hours down there with our pup. The nature and surroundings as well as the beautiful Forrest cabin in the trees were only exceeded by their gracious hospitality. This was an amazing experience and we can’t wait to return. Thank you Tamara and Marc!!!!

We can’t say enough good things about the inn and our super comfortable room. We booked it for a relaxing little getaway since we were already that way for work purposes, and we will be going back for sure! Host was super communicative when we wanted to extend our stay. We felt like we were incredibly well-informed before check-in, so we had zero hitches and felt relaxed the second we pulled up! Great beds, awesome peaceful atmosphere, and really cool architectural details. Excellent breakfast options, as well. Thanks, Mary! It was a pleasure.

Jim and Erica's beautiful b&b far exceeded my expectations! From the dog welcome basket, walkable location to everything downtown/South Slope, homemade cookies and dog treats each night, and the incredible vegan breakfast every morning (I did not ask them to accommodate my diet, they already had all the fixings to make a filling meal would never know was vegan!). they were so easy to communicate with and gave me great recommendations for restaurants and hikes. The room was clean and large, and very accommodating for my furry friend! I can't wait return to Asheville and will be dreaming of this warm, fresh cookies for a long time! 10/10 recommend!

Elizabeth's place was exactly how it was described on the website. She even greeted us outside, when we arrived, and made us feel right at home! This B&B is close to the Dupont Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway which was close to our day trip hiking destinations. Downtown Asheville and Brevard are also close by so there's plenty to do. Or if you want to sit and relax on their back porch and read a book that option is also available. We were so comfortable in their home it felt like visiting a long lost friend. Both Jim and Elizabeth had great stories to tell and also gave us a mini concert in their living room. Her weekend breakfasts were outstanding and she's a fantastic cook! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in this area. We will definitely be back.

This is the perfect place to stay! The beds are incredibly comfortable, the breakfast was awesome, and the inn itself was adorable. I felt very at home here.

Oh my gosh! My friend and I had a girls' weekend in the Tryon area visiting the local wineries and we stayed at the Green Life Inn, and it was a great experience! Mary's special touches were amazing! There were snacks & water in the room, top-quality soaps and shampoo were provided, and the bed linens were AMAZING! To top it all off, Mary provided quite the spread of food for breakfast. Homemade (yummy) muffins, cheesy hashbrowns with sausage, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee and much more! We will definitely stay there again! Thank you Mary for your hospitality!

We loved our brief stay at Mary's B&B. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and escorted to our room. The house is beautiful- a combination of modern luxury tied in with an authentic historic hotel. I feel like Mary thought of everything to make the room and our overall stay a comfortable one. So many common areas to spend time in outside of our room including many separate spaces downstairs, a front porch, a back porch, and a patio area. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
