Family-friendly vacation rentals in Polk County

We loved our stay! Ben gave clear instructions on how to find/access the property, was very responsive, and helpful. The house was spotless, comfortable, had everything you need, and the hot tub was a great perk in the cold winter. An added bonus: there is a waterfall to spot on your drive up to the house.

Absolutely loved staying here! The cabin felt secluded and private while being convenient to hiking, restaurants, and other amenities. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax and unwind at the end of the day. I will absolutely stay here again :)

A really sweet house in a quiet neighborhood. Everything we wanted to do in and around Asheville was within an easy 10-15 drive. The house was super clean with very comfy beds and plenty of space for our family of three. The host gave helpful instructions right when we needed them and was very responsive and kind. Checkout was a breeze and we’re already looking forward to staying here again!

The place was fantastic! Perfect for a large group, the projector was amazing for rainy days. The kitchen was probably the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen for an Airbnb which made everything that much easier. George was very responsive and helpful, we greatly appreciated his hospitality!

I had my bachelor/birthday weekend in Asheville and we picked Courtney & Sean’s place as our accommodation. It was the perfect size for me + 7 others. We all loved it and enjoyed our stay. Would definitely book again for a large group.

My boyfriend and I loved staying at this cottage! We took a couples trip to visit Asheville and support the community after the hurricane, and we loved every minute of it! The place was beautiful and private and we felt right at home! The hot tub was definitely a favorite for us!!!! We would absolutely stay again!

Solid place. Well maintained. Attention to detail. Had plenty of things one doesn’t always find in airbnb like cooking spray and extra toilet paper!

Andrea was great to book with. We booked last minute and they graciously accepted. Good communication and no issues with any part of our stay. The house and property were beautiful! It was great to be able to bring our dogs and they had a fenced in area to run. It was a peaceful getaway with lots of hiking and other things to do in nature in the area.

This is my third time staying on the property and second time at the house rental. As always, it was perfect for a horse show weekend at Tryon and we always feel right at home!

We have stayed at the Cider House a few times with our dogs. The house is perfect with plenty of space with a great kitchen, beautiful bathroom with strong water pressure, and plenty of space to walk our dogs outside. Every morning that we were there this time, we saw deer in the backyard which was perfect. The Cider House is our go-to place when we stay in the area to visit family and friends. Look forward to our next visit!

GREAT LOCATION! We loved being so close to the horse park. The house was very roomy & comfy. Word of advice- only do self clean if you aren’t in a rush to leave on your departure day. We were only there for 2 nights and are neat & tidy, but it still a bit to clean as required. Overall it was the perfect place for us!

This house was very convenient for horse showing at TIEC. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking quick meals, and the beds were comfortable. Gray was super easy to communicate with and always very helpful. Will definitely keep this place on my favorites list for next time.

Micheal was an amazing host! He was very proactive and responsive to anything and everything we needed. Not to mention he was very generous and really prided himself on making our stay perfect! I couldn’t ask for anything more. The cabin is beautiful with so much land. It was just what we needed to get away as a family.

it was a wonderful stay and Joy was a great host. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The condo was very comfortable to stay in for 4 of us and has part of the lake right behind it which makes it serene. The check in was smooth , wifi worked without a problem , parking is right in front of the unit, the neighborhood is quiet, and hiking trails are close by. Important to know that you may have to drive a bit for getting groceries etc if you plan to cook dinners. Asheville downtown is about an hour away with 20 min of highway time and other 40 min is winding roads getting to the scenic community. That part of the drive is quiet dark after sunset. Overall, it's a great place for R&R, and Joy is a very warm and responsive host - we would love to come back again soon. Thanks Joy.

A great place for a vacation. Carolyn was a great host and was very responsive to all our queries. The cabin was extremely good and had all amenities. It also had board games for the kids. My kids enjoyed the hot tub as well. The place was very neat and had an upgraded kitchen.Would definitely recommend for a vacation stay.

Great house if you don’t want to contend with winding mountain roads and don’t mind being 20 minutes from downtown. Perfect location for a relaxing weekend. Pool and hot tub were enjoyed greatly, and expansive back yard gives great feeling of privacy. Rooms were all spacious enough for 8 adults to be comfortable. Would definitely book again for a mountain getaway!

The view is amazingly stunning and breathtaking. It is located in a quiet and peaceful area. The staff were so serviceable and helpful.

This was our favorite Air B & B rental. The farm is more beautiful than we expected. The house was inviting and we felt right at home. We loved the pool , hot tub and the wonderful back porch over looking the gorgeous scenery. Doug is amazing.He is quick to respond and very helpful before and during our trip. We cant wait to go back and visit!
