I had a great stay at Prabodi’s place. I stayed for a week and she was very friendly and helpful. She arranged transportation for me from Colombo and helped me with laundry and bike rental. The place is clean and well maintained. It’s definitely worth the money. Highly recommend

True local experience! Dinner was awesome, and the view from the top deck was a delight, plenty of birds,squirrels and monkeys to watch. Excellent value for money. Please note that the location on the map is incorrect - the property is further up and took me about 7-8 minutes to walk to the beach. Own transport would be ideal in this location - I had difficulties with PickMe but kindly the host would source me a tuktuk from the village :)

Gaia Soul was actually the reason we wanted to go to Sri Lanka. And — (even though we never travel to the same places again) Gaia Soul will be the reason we have to go back. The pool and the skate ramp were so much fun. There are a lot of different hang out zones, so you will always find a comfortable spot. The place is so tidy and clean at all times. The exterior is really nice with the concrete and the orange and pink flowers. The garden areas are taken care og daily. There is a beautiful beach 5 minute walking distance. 
You can order food all day from the neighbour restaurant, that serves delicious traditional Sri Lankan food. (You have to try the curry with coconut sambol and the breakfast pancakes) Sanduni and her team will take care of you from you arrive until departure. We had two morning yoga sessions with Sarka. She is a great yoga teacher. It felt so special to just walk to the open jungle yoga studio in the beautiful wild surroundings. Thank you so much Baxter!

We had the most incredible stay! Bianca and her team were absolutely amazing—so kind, thoughtful, and attentive. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from the little details in the space to helping us with local recommendations and anything we needed during our stay. The place itself was beautiful and super comfortable, but it was the hospitality that made it feel like a home away from home. Can’t recommend this place enough—thank you, Bianca, for everything!

We stayed at the second floor of the villa with an awesome view of the ocean and perfect location, a three minute walk to the beach. We communicated with the owner’s dad every day. He was super helpful and made us breakfasts. Our children played with his granddaughter every day. A very welcoming family, they live next to the property and always there to fix any issues. Three bedrooms with air con and nice veranda to sit and watch the ocean. Loved it.

Shamil var väldigt trevlig och enkel att kommunicera med. Boendet ligger centralt och nära både strand och huvudgatan med restauranger och supermarket. Vardagsrummet är lite mörkt utan fönster men stora altandörrar till balkongen. Vi var mestadels ute hela dagarna ändå.

We had an incredible three-night stay at Sahan’s villa in Weligama—honestly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The location is perfect: just a short walk or quick tuk tuk ride to amazing surf spots and great restaurants. The villa itself is stunning, with a beautiful pool that was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The interiors were spotless and thoughtfully designed. The air-conditioning worked perfectly (a real bonus in the Sri Lankan heat), the beds were large and super comfortable, and the bathrooms were modern, clean, and luxurious. Housekeeping was top-notch throughout our stay, and the check-in and check-out process couldn’t have been smoother. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay in Weligama.

The beautiful Beach House - Reef House - is located in a quiet spot in Madhia overlooking the ocean. The location is around 20 to 25 minutes drive to Mirissa beach with Welligama beach little further ahead. The location worked perfectly for us since our intention was mainly to relax and step out for short outings. While one cannot swim in the ocean in front of the house, we enjoyed the soothing sounds of waves & dips in the pool. The reef house is tastefully done, comfortable with basic amenities including good wifi. There’s a room on the ground floor which is perfect for elderly guests or anyone who might find stairs challenging. Swell cafe for coffee fix is right opposite the house. Charitha is cordial, prompt with replies & is available to answer queries. Indika is kind & took excellent care of us. Siri cooked us delicious meals. This was our first time living with pets and to be honest Gaston and Bella were a delight to have around. We had memorable stay at the Reef House.

Das Airbnb war ein Traum. Es ist wunderschön, sauber, super ausgestattet und hat eine traumhafte Lage, sowie einen traumhaften Pool. Wir waren restlos begeistert und unsere Erwartungen wurden sogar übertroffen. Jeder der nach Sri Lanka kommt sollte hier übernachten. Eine der besten Unterkünfte, die ich jemals hatte. Die Mitarbeiter vor Ort waren unglaublich hilfsbereit und freundlich. Hier gibt es kein Verbesserungsbedarf.

Es ist jetzt schon das zweite Mal, dass wir in der Sweet Villa sein konnten und es war wieder wunderschön. Danke an Pamoda und ihren Vater, die Haushälterin Sunetrah und die Security sowie natürlich Browny… Danke Delphine für Dein Entgegenkommen…

We had six lovely days at the villa. It’s right on a quiet beach, and a five minute walk to see the turtles! Sunil’s breakfasts were amazing and he was always willing to help. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great stay at this beautifully furnished, duplex condominium. The apartment has ample space, is extremely comfortable and ideally suited for a large family or group. It is also equipped with all the amenities you would expect from any 5* hotel. The host, Minoli was also extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. All in all, one of the best condominium properties in the area!

Simply the best property we have ever hired on Airbnb or elsewhere. The house is AMAZING. Service was impeccable. Really perfect. Thanks Colleen and thanks to Nissanka and Dammika for their help throughout our stay in Galle.

Beautiful villa in a lovely location. The staff is super helpful and we loved our stay. Lots of restaurants in the area and a beautiful beach just few steps away. highly recommended.

We had a fantastic 10-day break at this beautiful villa. The setting is amazing, overlooking the infinity of the Indian Ocean, with the calming sound of the crashing waves. The sea was too rough for a swim but the beach was perfect for a walk. The garden is lovely, the pool is a welcome escape from the heat and the house itself is spacious enough for everyone not to be in each other's way. We had so much fun during our stay - massages in the garden, wandering the neighbourhood and meeting the locals, visiting nearby beaches (Dickwella beach was our favourite, especially with young kids), safari, releasing baby turtles in the sea, boat trips, etc.... Last but certainly not least - the lovely staff. The hospitality offered by Suneetha, Ajith and Ari was truly special. They are all lovely and looked after us so well. Apart from the delicious food they prepared daily, they arranged our trips, transport, etc. It was hard to leave and tears were shed at the end. We'll be back, for sure!

Wow.....We stayed for our winter break for two months and it was fantastic. The villa, although a little quirky was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the outside areas were fantastic, really good pool and beutifully kept gardens, with direct access to the beach and nearby restaurants. Gievs was always on hand to give us local information and to resolve any problems that occurred. Having problems reaching the beach due to the sand retracting with the tide he organised wooden steps to make our access easier within day....fantastic. The biggest joy of our stay was the house manager...Sadika who was always on hand to keep the villa pristinely clean and serve the best gin and tonics in Sri Lanka. his mother would come and cook our meals if we wished and honestly, her food was outstanding, beating most restaurant standards in the area. Die Unterkunft mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 3 Bädern war ideal für uns mit unseren Freunden. Es gibt einen großen überdachten Platz draußen wo man kochen, essen und relaxen kann. Direkt gegenüber gibt es einen kleinen Laden und zum Strand sind es nur 2 Min. zu Fuß. Durch das vorgelagerte Riff sind die Wellen nicht so hoch und man kann gut schwimmen. Jeden Morgen wurden wir mit leckeren Köstlichkeiten von Ruwans Frau überrascht und auch abends haben wir uns einmal bekochen lassen. Wenn du keinen Rummel und keinen Luxus brauchst, sondern lieber ruhig unter den Einheimischen wohnen möchtest, bist du hier genau richtig. Ruwan wird dir in allem was du brauchst weiterhelfen.

Un charmant logement ! Le personnel était à nos petits soins. Nous sommes tombés malade lors du séjour et nous avons été aidé de jours comme de nuit. Le logement est propre, très agréable et paisible. Nous avons été accueilli avec un verre de jus. Je recommande sincèrement

War erst mal etwas schwierig zu finden, aber einfach der Beschilderung folgen. Echt toller Ausblick, gemütliches Zimmer. War ein toller Aufenthalt für die ersten Tage. 😌

Kosala and his Family were so welcoming to us ! Our children played with his daughters, we felt very at Home.. he was also caring much about keeping our Place clean and comfortable. We are definitely going to miss them! Only one side down was that, even if the location it’s great , meaning you have great restaurants, surf schools , everything is close by, the streets are very loud , you can hear them all day and night. Other than this we are totally coming back to stay with Kosala and his family ! Thank you!!
