Although I could not meet Elena personally for work reasons, both her mother Maria José and her father welcomed us wonderfully and treated us as if we were family. The place is charming and the apartment is as described in the listing. Complimentary honey, water and milk. Upon arrival, the iron stove was on and the apartment was very warm. A renovated old house, fully equipped with everything, nothing was missing, very clean, with heating that heats the house super fast, a big house with a huge patio and very good location to enjoy the Bierzo and visit the area, very quiet town in the middle of nature, totally recommended

Lucia was super friendly, she recommended everything from a taxi driver to pick us up at the station, to places to go to eat and see! We will return and recommend

The house is very nice. Newly renovated and tastefully decorated, it's not lacking in detail. The kitchen is very complete. It is located in a very quiet village with very good connections to larger cities (Bembibre right next door and Ponferrada 10 minutes away) and close to areas that deserve to be visited (I especially recommend the Valley of Silence, Peñalba de Santiago). Very smooth communication with the owner. Before arriving, he sent a guide that included all the necessary information for using the house and recommendations for visiting places and locales in the area. Very professional.
