Thank you Anna and Oskar for providing such a lovely, clean and welcoming apartment. It was in a lovely quiet location, but close enough to the station and amenties in walking distance, with parking if we had needed it. Just perfect for our quick one night stay for my son and me. Will definitely stay there again if we come back to Torquay.

Wow, what a fantastic stay we have just had! We stayed in the Silver sea apartment and it was absolutely beautiful - Rowan was a fab host, we booked a very last minute break and he was so friendly and helpful, with just the right balance of being informative but giving us the space we needed! The apartment was immaculate, you can really see the thought and expense that has gone into this place. One of the highlights for me was the air spa bath, I could have stayed in there for hours! Unbelievably we only live about 30 minutes from here but we hadn't heard about Wool down before - I'm so glad we know about it now as we will certainly be back for another stay and I will recommend it to all of our family and friends! Thank you so much Rowan for a wonderful stay, see you again very soon! :)

Jack was clearly looking out for us and saw immediately what we needed (getting the bikes stored and getting out of the rain). He is obviously proud of his place and its history, and showed a real passion for it whilst being sensitive to our energy levels. There's a generosity here too (Neal's Yard toiletries) and a flair for decoration (Iain's speciality), giving the house a quirky, homely feel whilst respecting its history. Breakfast was reasonably-priced and beautifully presented. We loved every minute of our stay here.

Kate was a great host. We wished we had chatted earlier, prior to buying our Chinese takeaway - say no more on that one. She told us where to go, so helpful and welcoming. Thankyou Kate, we had a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas in the Annexe and Mary and Terry were the perfect hosts, very friendly and there should we need them. Mary had provided lots of little thoughtful extras. The place itself was spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything you could possibly need. Great shower, comfy bed and very quiet at night. There was an easy walk down to the beach and from there on to Teignmouth and an easy drive to Teignmouth, Dawlish and Shaldon. We had an excellent meal in the pub just up the road from the house. We can recommend the Annexe and would love to stay there again sometime. Thank you so much Mary and Terry.

My brother, whose birthday we were celebrating, was first to arrive. He had had no part in organising it but I had sent him the email link to contact Gary, and had already explained how friendly and amenable Gary was. My brother was still really impressed and surprised by our host's down to earth attitude and generosity. He also made the most of the jet bath before the kids arrived and ruined his peace! The house was just stunning. 8 people, three families, and no one felt on top of one another. With teens and an old lady, we could have easily fallen out somewhere less spacious. Gary did not advertise how big his kitchen space is and that it doubles up as a dance floor ❤️ Very fond memories made of my kids moon walking with their uncle. Huge hot tub. Max 6 but I don't think we had more than 4 in at a time, and it was a lot more pleasant than smaller hot tubs with 4 in at a time. The view from the back of the house was something else. ❤️ Planning our next visit already.

Had a great stay whilst moving my son to university. The flat is a short drive from the city centre with the great bonus of parking. It's well appointed and spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Joel was an absolutely brilliant host, communicating almost instantaneously when we had queries. He also left us milk, tea and coffee and there were other useful storecupboard ingredients in the kitchen. There is an Aldi a few minutes drive away for anything else.

we needed a break away and I came a cross this beautiful cottage. absolutely loved staying there very comfy and cosy can't wait to go back 😊 would highly recommend.

This was the perfect space for us 3 adults. The area is beautiful, it’s very peaceful, but there’s lots to do if you feel like it and wonderful walks to take from the property. Gorgs and Sam were perfect hosts, attentive and helpful when we had questions and we found it a very relaxing place to stay.

Beautiful, modern house that is immaculately clean.

Loved the location, allocated parking was what was very important for us. Close to town and our friends who live round the corner. It is a lovely new apartment with great views, great shower and balcony. Bed was a little hard for us, but owner is addressing this for the future. But overall a lovely comfortable apartment which was spotless. Will definitely use again.

Eves is a very good host!! The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. Stayed only one night but the next time i visit the area I will try to stay here again. :)
