Beachfront vacation rentals in Playa de la Carihuela

Great accommodation, great location and GREAT host. We loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. The property is as described in the listing, which is perfect, but what you don't see is the extra details that Miriam adds to make the stay more practical and comfortable. The location is great, a five minute walk to the beach in one direction and to the restaurants in the other; a small convenience shop is a further couple of minutes past the restaurants. Marbella Centre is a 15 minute drive away. Miriam was a great host, very communicative by text prior to arrival and extremely friendly and helpful when she met us in person on the day; she also went out of her way to come and say goodbye before we departed. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area. Muchas Gracias Miriam. 🙂

We had a very late flight and didn't arrive until 02:00 at the accommodation, but Saachi asked us to message her as soon as we had left the airport and she was waiting for us as we arrived via the Taxi. She showed us around the apartment and then shortly afterwards gave us lots of local information (Bus routes - Restaurants - bike hire - supermarket etc), the accommodation was as advertised, and suited us very well. We walked from our apartment every day, in both directions. Lots of places to eat nearby. Walk into Malaga centre is about 50 minutes, but buses are available. Large TV in the lounge for an end of the day movie after many great days out. Visited various places during out stay, (Gibraltar - Narja - Grenada). Overall a great location for what we wanted to do, not too close to town, but close enough for commuting. Would definitely stay again. Saachi was easy to contact and friendly.

Nice and cozy beach front apartment. The excellent host Francisco (Paco) was always available and ready to help. 5 minutes walk to the city center. 10 mins walk to train station and central bus station. Lots of excellent restaurants in walking distance. We stayed a full month and enjoyed it very much.

Wow! What a beautiful place Pileta has. Everything was just as described but what really makes it is the balcony with amazing views and sun shining on it from morning til evening. You can sit, relax and watch the world go by. It is close to everything including the train station. We never met Pileta but she was very responsive to any messages and she even let us have a late check out when we asked her. Thank you Pileta. We really enjoyed our stay 😎 Best Wishes Bernie

The place is beautiful, very well cared for and well finished: order, cleanliness, easy access and flexibility for check-in/check-out times. The apartment has a wonderful view, located on the eighth floor of a beachfront building between the marina and Playa de Malapesquera. We will hardly forget our stay, also made unforgettable by the quality of the home. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to stay here. A little slice of heaven on the Mediterranean Sea. The sound of the surf was relaxing. While small the apartment was well designed so we were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and the washer was a washer/dryer combo unit which was very handy. The Malibu bar downstairs was handy when we didn’t feel like cooking. We had no car but the bus stopped right outside the front door which was handy for going to the Marina area and you could even take it to the pueblo. The only disappointment was when we had to leave.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Penèlope's. Our four children loved the swimming pool and the space they had in each bedroom. The adults enjoyed the relaxing setting and the privacy. Watching the sun rise from the terrace was such a wonderful experience. We had everything we needed and being so close to the beach was another bonus. We would highly recommend this property. We cooked most evenings (bring your own cooking oil and coffee as these were not provided but everything essential was). Supermarket very close by. Would love to return to Málaga and especially Penèlopes place.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is exactly as the photos. Facilities are great and all very clean. Walking distance to all bars and restaurants. Approx 30 min walk to centre of Fuengirola. Definitely an apartment we would return to.

What an incredble property! For our group of 6 adults, it provided a touch of luxury at very good value. Despite being early in the season, we were very lucky with the weather and made the most of the outside spaces. The roof terrace is a great space for an evening bbq. The location, half way between Malaga and Marbella, allowed us to visit the area. We took the commuter's train from the airport and managed to move around during our extended weekend by using buses and taxis. For a longer stay, I would recommend to rent a car. On arrival, we went to Mercadona Fuengirola for our shoppung and took a taxi back. Would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful studio in a very good location, easy to access with many parking spaces. Lucia is very responsive and available. I recommend it!

Splendid apartment with a beautiful sea view. Residence of very good standing. Location very close to the sea and restaurants. A little noisy on the terrace, because of a busy street, that's the only negative, everything else is at its best! Easy access.

Ria was a great host, super responsive, the property was very spacious and close to everything, Beach and centre of La Cala only a short walk away. Would definitely book again.

Great place to stay, close to Malaga! The apartment is amazing, extremely clean with everything you could possibly need as a family. The view is spectacular, the pools are open all-year round. Andrea was really nice and helpful with everything and we really appreciated the welcome gifts and check-out flexibility. We will definitely come back to stay here when visiting Spain.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location. Accessible to many different beaches and day trips, would highly recommend.

From start to finish Nith was helpful and prompt with replies. The apartment was lovely could have stayed for ages. Clean and everything you could wish for. She left a gift of a bottle of wine, very thoughtful. Literally minute from the beach and walking distance from everything you needed. Would love to stay there again, preferably soon. Nith couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful

We enjoyed very much our stay at Maria’s place. A newly refurbished home by the beautiful beach of Playa de Palo, close to Malaga but not in the crowd. The house was super clean and curated in a lot of details. Maria was super helpful and very responsive, she gave us a lot of good recommendation. We definitely recommend a stay there!

A great location. Wonderful full apartment with all the expected amenities. Beautiful terrace for morning coffee/evening glasses of wine. Quiet and secure (multiple locked gates and a private (for residents) elevator to beach level. 5 Stars

Small cottage ideal for couples. There's no shortage of details. We have rested and disconnected. It is just as seen in the photos. Very clean and cozy both the casita and the porch. We will repeat, no doubt. Thank you!!
