We really enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House. Hidden away in the woods made this place feel very peaceful and cozy. Loved the use of recycled barn wood throughout. This was definitely one of our favorite stays.

This was our second stay at Laura’s place. We appreciate the homey feel and easy access without stairs to access the home.

Cabin was exactly what we needed for our 4 day trip. Easy to get to and comfortable to be in after a day in the field. Very nice to wake in the morning and watch all the deer come and go.

Perfect place to enjoy the solitude of the Sandhills and listen to the chorus of birds along the hills and pond in the morning. Great little getaway and an amazing base to explore the area. I will definitely be back!

The Corn Crib is a very cozy place to stay after a long day. The kitchen is stocked with anything you could think of! Loved the decor of the Crib and the surroundings were quiet and beautiful 🍂 Will definitely stay again!

Connie’s place was a relaxing retreat, tucked away, yet only 2 miles from town. I came only to do a total digital detox, no phone or electronics whatsoever, and it was the perfect setting to do that. I came back to Chicago and feel totally new after only 4 days. The small cabin is perfect for one person, it has high 12 ft ceilings, and all the creature comforts. There is a fire pit outside and a Weber grill with all the tools necessary. The cabin is perched on a hill, and in fall the setting is ideal, with the leaves turning. At night everything is absolutely quiet, only the creatures outside rustling around. And the town itself is a cool, slow paced place, reminds me of a Portland, Oregon vibe but tiny and in the Midwest. Some highlights are the excellent food co-op, which sells good quality, local goods, but there also is a Walmart for more generic purchases that may be necessary. Also, what came in very clutch was a gem of a used bookstore, from which I bought a couple books.

it was a short stay, but the place was very welcoming! Honestly probably one of the most welcoming airbnb's I've stayed at so far. She provided us with a little welcoming bottle of wine & a smore's kit! The patio that goes out to the lake was gorgeous! I wish we could have stayed longer. I think it would feel very cozy in the wintertime.

Kendra & her family where super friendly during our stay. I booked this place for my birthday week, and it live up to its expectations, it was perfect! We enjoyed the variety of amenities this place offered, grilling, fire pit, hot tub, they even had an Xbox all ready to play! Kendra even provided a 1 on 1 with getting the grill lit - and provided me with aluminum foil which I super appreciated :)! Thank-you Kendra for a wonderful stay :)!!

We enjoyed our stay at Breann's last weekend to attend a wedding in Iowa. It accommodated our family of 7 well and was spacious and well furnished. The view from the upper level was amazing. It was like we were dwelling at the top of the trees and had a "bird's eye" view. Lovely. Very nice hot tub.

Great experience. Cresco is a great break it turns out. I was there for work but the town is just like i remember the year 1991. Cute place. So relaxing. Not a single bad thing to say. Loved it.

Very clean and comfy stay, great location, set back from road with ample parking room. 2 minutes away from everything in town. Will be my first choice if I find myself traveling through Hannibal again

Paul and Tricia's place -- half a duplex -- was a great find in Mt. Pleasant. Check in was a breeze, the place was spotless and charming. There was a nice selection of snacks awaiting me and TVs with Roku in both the living room and bedroom. They even had washer/dryer access which came in handy to get the wrinkles out of my dress shirt. The rules of the house were clearly communicated and easy to do. The neighborhood is within walking distance of the town square where there were a number of nice places to eat. Pad Thai is a local Thai place that was surprising to discover in a small Iowa town. The singular downside to this location has nothing at all to do with the space or the attentive host, but with the proximity to the railroad tracks -- but the hosts disclose that the unit is within walking distance to the Amtrak station. Overall, though, the place was great and should I find myself back in Mt. Pleasant again, I would happily return to this airBnB.

I stayed with my kids and any I questions were had, Stephanie and her husband were quick to respond! They came over to start the fire pit with no problem and it really made my kids happy! Definitely would stay here again!

We had a great stay. This was exactly what we needed for a one night stay on our drive from Iowa to Colorado as a halfway point. We had several restaurants to choose from near by. Everything was very comfortable! Our kids utilized the hot tub and we wished it was warm outside so we could use the amazing pool and awesome backyard. We were made a homemade breakfast of waffles and fruit, which was delivered to our door. Overall, everything was absolutely lovely. We highly recommend.

Susan is extremely accommodating and helpful. I stayed for two weeks to work storms and the Air bnb was perfect for a long stay

Michelle and Chad were fantastic hosts for our daughter who stayed there as she wrapped up her senior year of college. They made everything easy for us and were so friendly. The place was great and exactly as advertised. I would highly recommend them and their place to anyone.

This mother-in-law suite was very easy to find. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and we felt very safe staying there. The beds, furniture, and surroundings are comfortable and clean and the rustic decor is as cute as can be. The suite is more spacious than it appears from the outside. The living area, kitchen, laundry and bath are all on the main level and the two bedrooms are upstairs separated by a landing featuring a sitting area. We are all fairly tall and had to duck at one point on steps to the loft but it really wasn't a problem (the decor features lots of ducks, too). Our hosts were friendly and helpful, too. We were a little confused by the hot water instructions we were given and reached out for clarification. They responded promptly and even came over to give us a little demonstration. There's a little trick to "waking up" the tankless water heater but it works great and we had plenty of hot water.

Ellen’s place was very homey and cozy. Ellen was very friendly and provided a lot of amenities. The location was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!
