We loved our stay at Hideaway on Hazel. The house was super cute and comfy. King bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was updated and modern and the dining room was perfect for working on my laptop. The backyard was my favorite serene place to read a book, drink coffee in the morning, and hot tub in the evening. The house is located in a quiet and pretty neighborhood with a trail just down the street to take our dog. It is super close to Iowa State Campus and downtown restaurants. 30 minutes from Ledges State Park and High Trestle Bridge trail. We would stay here every time we came to Ames!

I brought my debate team to National competition in Des Moines. They selected this home for the amenities. The students slept well and bonded as a team. We enjoyed many nearby restaurants, close proximity to interstate 235 and to the Iowa Events Center. Students unwound in the hot tub or sauna before bed. We benefitted by storing snacks and breakfast items in the kitchen, saving us some money dining out a little less. This is the first time we've tried an Airbnb and we will definitely do it again after this experience.

The house is beautiful, and the beds are so comfortable. We were able to bring our dogs with us, so that was very helpful. She keeps the water temp hot in the house, so we never ran out of hot water, and there were 5 of us :) The hottub was full and hot and we all enjoyed it. We had a really great time, thank you so much Patricia! We will definitely be back to stay when we come to Omaha again!

Layton’s place was amazing. He went above and beyond to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Lots of thoughtful touches, and the space was beautiful. I only stayed one night with my kids while we were doing a cross country drive, but this is the first time I’ve ever been to an Airbnb and thought “I want to come back here, just for this house”. The backyard opens onto a big park with a playground, and if I’d had more time I would have gone for a walk. The kitchen is big and inviting. Really it’s perfect for any combination of guests I can imagine, and was a wonderfully relaxing stop.

Serene, scenic, and so comfortable! We loved our stay at Trout Creek Cabin, and hope to stay again sometime. On this trip, we managed to dodge some rain for a bike trip in Lanesboro one day, and a hike up to the lookout another day. Otherwise, we indulged in the view, took naps, read books, played games, had long meaningful chats, and realized in the hot tub. We couldn't dictate the weather, but we could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you!

The Fox and Badger is absolutely magical! The cabin and the property make you feel like you’re in a fairy tale! We spent several hours just enjoying the porch and listening to the birds! We have no expectations, just wanted a relaxing weekend. But this place was breathtaking and very relaxing view. The cabin was very beautiful, organized and huge. I have no words but its a 5 star my friends saw my post in social media they been asking me where is this place and they want to rent here too. Ofcourse I Will recommend it. What ever we needed, its all here actually more than we needed. David is such a great host and would like to thank him for letting us stay here. Hopefully we can visit again here on fall if there’s availability and if David will let us.
