Treehouse vacation rentals in Plainview

It was a house in a tree. It lived up to our expectations. It was rustic and woodsy. We enjoyed staying there.

This was our second time staying here and it was just as good as the first time. The view of the lake and waterfall was amazing. We were able to bring our John boat and enjoy some time out on the lake and caught some nice sized sunfish. We saw lots of wildlife on the water and even some on land that was a surprise. The wife really enjoyed everything which is always good for me. LOL. Would definitely recommend to any couple or just anyone who wants to get away and enjoy nature or just some peace and quiet. Definitely will be back again!

This place was exactly what we needed! We were looking to get away from home for a couple nights and we're interested in fishing and hiking. We stayed in the lakeside cabin so my kids and husband could fish as much as they wanted! We caught bass and bluegill, but saw a few catfish that were too sneaky! Saw lots of wildlife including turtles, deer, buffalo, elk, donkeys and a zebra! The location was close enough to all of our hiking destinations. We did Garden of the God's on our way to the cabin, then did Ferne Clyffe State Park and Jackson Falls (both about 30 minutes from the location). Loved that they are pet friendly so my pup could come along for the adventure. We would recommend staying here and would definitely be interested in staying again!

I had an amazing stay at this cozy Airbnb—truly a serene and peaceful spot to get away and unplug from the hustle and bustle. The location is fantastic, especially if you love hiking, as there are great trails just a short drive away. Waking up to the beautiful views was such a treat, and the cozy spaces inside made it easy to relax and unwind after a day outdoors. The kitchen is well-equipped and perfect for preparing meals, which added to the comfort of the stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to recharge in nature without sacrificing convenience!

The location was so peaceful and with an absolutely stunning view. The host was very responsive and there was a great deal of detailed information shared in a notebook in the cabin. The best thing is that the hosts are on site and check the property as soon as you leave so if you have left anything (which we did) they contact you quickly so you can return before you’ve gone far. And, we met the hosts at this point and they were very pleasant.

Wonderful fun and let friendly. She left little Easter eggs of candy for the kids. Super fun and easy to get into. Def worth it!

We booked it the night of our stay as a last minute adventure. They were so responsive and helpful. The location was just as billed and felt like home. We really enjoyed the property after long days travelling, hiking, playing in waterfalls, trying local restaurants. Fantastic experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bird’s Eye View for a long weekend. Honestly, I wish we could’ve stayed here longer. It’s peaceful, secluded, and beautiful. Mike was quick to respond and always offering his help if we needed anything. We would absolutely stay here again.

Dawne and her husband were so kind and the most welcoming of hosts! The treehouse was extremely clean and the perfect amount of space for our group! We took full advantage of the bonfire and mini golf! Such a fun stay!

Our stay at the Tree Top Window Loft was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at peace. The loft was warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained—exactly what we were hoping for in a nature escape. Surrounded by trees and the sounds of wildlife, it was the perfect place to unwind and disconnect. Will and Molly were fantastic—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful (they made sure we had propane for the grill and fire unit). We loved the fire pit, the comfy bed, and the clean detached bathroom that was only a short walk away. It truly felt like a home away from home, with all the charm and tranquility of a secluded retreat. We’re already talking about when we can come back. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in the woods, this place is a hidden gem!

If you look at the photos and read all of Catherine's messages (she sends a lot of emails with helpful information and even a video on how to work the wood-powered hot tub) then you will be ready to know everything about this beautiful place. She goes above and beyond to welcome you and make it a true retreat from the world. This is a bit nicer (i.e. higher rate) than AirBNBs that I sometimes get on a family vacation but it was a great treat for my husband and I for a romantic getaway- worth it!

We just loved this sweet place. We had such a relaxing and great stay. We were greeted by the chickens who came to check us out when we arrived. We loved having them around. The treehouse was so cute and had everything we needed for our visit. The screened sitting area was perfect on the rainy days. We loved walking around the farm visiting with the chickens and horses. The sweet little cat joined us for a fire and s'mores one night. I loved the lights around the tree house at night by the glowing fire. Just a beautiful space. The owners were so sweet and gave suggestions on things nearby. The lake is gorgeous and we made sure we drove by the dam every trip. Liquid luck coffee is a must visit with great service, and you get a hug with your drink. We will definitely visit again and habe had so many people want the link to this beautiful and relaxing farm oasis.

The treehouse was a great stay for our anniversary! The inside was very cozy and we felt right at home. The bed in the loft area was very comfortable and it was nice waking up seeing all the trees through the windows. The surrounding woods were very peaceful and we really enjoyed the lower deck with the hot tub and the upper wrap around deck with chairs. We even saw three deer. The trail down to the house was not bad for an average person unlike other reviews have said. Timothy was a very friendly and helpful host. We definitely recommend staying here for a weekend getaway!

My husband and I stayed at Hide Inn Seek to celebrate our 15-year wedding anniversary and can’t stop raving about the experience! Hide Inn Seek is so much for than your average mountain house vacation rental - it’s a masterclass in thoughtful design, immersive nature and unparalleled attention to detail. Every inch of the place feels intentionally crafted for relaxation and connecting with nature. The luxurious furnishings, linens, appliances and numerous special touches made it feel like a private five-star hotel nestled amongst the trees. We read ALL the books, ate delicious meals, biked, hiked, and relaxed to music by the fireplace. This is truly one of the most beautiful, relaxing places we’ve ever stayed and we are officially hooked. We can’t wait to come again soon!

It was the perfect relaxing getaway. The location is a campground, but we felt like we had privacy given the location of treehouse 1. The grounds were beautiful! We loved sitting on the dock watching the sunset. The hot tub was the perfect way to end the evening. There was the threat of a tornado during our stay. Staff came around in their truck and took us to the lodge to wait out the storm. We appreciated their concern for their guests. We will be back!

1st time here and plan on going back. Awesome place for a couple to just get away by their selves. The new outdoor shower is awesome.

This was our first treehouse experience, and it was the adventure we hoped for. I especially enjoyed the early morning solitude having coffee on the quiet back porch watching the trees sway in the breeze, totally relaxing.

This was a wonderful location. If you are looking to be surrounded by nature and have it right out the balcony up stairs or the wrap around porch downstairs, this is an amazing stay. It has a nice easy layout. With the windows open you can listen to nature while preparing food or just resting. Highly recommend this location.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and they made it so special for us. They were very thoughtful to make it cozy for us and decorated the place specifically for our anniversary. The treehouse is beautiful and a unique place. Hendersonville is a beautiful little town with great food and hiking trials.

Great place with all the amenities exactly as described. Plenty of comfort items such as coffee, snacks, and even some fresh cookies. We enjoyed the place and would recommend to anyone visiting Greenville that wants a relaxing space with plenty of privacy.
