Campsite vacation rentals in Plainview

Kim was WONDERFUL! She was responsive to all my whims and was so kind (thank you for the crabs!). After spending months in a very noisy, messy living situation, this was the perfect place to reset and have solitude and peace.

We wanted to do something unique & different for our anniversary & this did NOT disappoint. From the “main” road you can see the 3 red cabooses up on the hill & our hearts smiled. They recently had storms & we could see where the flood waters deteriorated the sides of the driveway but it was still wide enough for us to pass another small vehicle if needed. Office Check in was a breeze and took less than five mins before we were standing in our getaway train(caboose) which is on a real track! We were the only ones staying this weekend but if others were present, there was plenty of room. Our furbabies throughly enjoyed having a large field in front of the cabooses to run in. The views from the swings were breathtaking especially during the sunsets. Once Inside, we enjoyed the comforts of home (except for a stove). The hotness of the water & the relaxing hot tub added to our experience. Some things were dated but that is to come with the territory. We hope to visit again in the fall.

Had a beautiful stay at Rebecca’s—she’s a lovely and thoughtful host. The space wasn’t as private as I initially expected, since it’s situated between the house and office, but the hosts were very respectful and considerate about it. The place had everything we needed and worked well for a short stay; I’d recommend it for a night or two. Big thanks for welcoming my roommate and me—we’d definitely come back!

Beautiful location. Nice private camping area with a comfortable bed inside of a tent, flushable toilet, hammock, fire pit, etc all right on the lake. Amazing views and very peaceful

Once we found the property it was BEAUTIFUL and even better than the pictures. The house if stocked with anything that you would need and more. It was hard to leave without purchasing some of the amazing art!

We loved it for a quick vacation in the mountains! My wife and I relaxed in the hot tub, played Scrabble and Mancala in the AirStream, and hung out around Black Mtn and Asheville. The cabin is exactly as advertised and Mae communicated quickly and clearly.

So Grateful for my stay! James and Laura were always responsive to any questions i had, the space was perfect for my visit to asheville. I loved the little creek area by the rv and appreciated the beautiful views of the neighboring meadow. The RV was perfect for one person and could see it being perfect for a couple/family also. Some days the rd that passes the land can be a little noisy however for the most part ( especially at night time ) was the perfect sanctuary for my stay. I wouldn't’ hesitate to book again when returning to exquisitely beautiful Leicester! All in all, would definitely recommend!! Dillon

We really enjoyed the privacy and nature at this spot! The creek is directly out the door and really beautiful, and the privacy fence gives you your own private waterfront view. The chairs, tables and hammock outside make it a great hangout area. We were very comfortable inside as well, had everything we needed. Enjoyed our walks with our dog to the lake nearby. Really lovely!

Wonderful host, provided a lot of help during the stay. The area itself was beautiful, my boyfriend and I loved it. RV was really cute : )

Amy was an incredible host. It was our birthday/anniversary weekend and she made it very special in every possible way. We will be returning again and again!!! love this place!!!!

The place is very quiet, lots of peace in the place, places to go for a walk, and the Airbnb is very good, everything you need to be in a quiet place. I recommend it.

I was very happy with the camper. It was very nice and clean. The campground itself is a perfect location too! Coming from the south take exit 443 and go in the back way and you never even have to deal with all that crazy traffic! It was a very nice extended weekend trip. We wanted to try out camper living before considering a cross country trip and this AirBNB gave is a wonderful opportunity to do so in a beautiful setting! The goats were "TV" for our dog and we became very fond of the donkey on the farm. Only caveat is that it is about a 20 min drive into the Historic part of Fredericksburg and dining. Also 30 minutes to Lake Anna State park. That said, the peace of the setting was worth it to us!

Thank you for a wonderful stay! This was a last minute booking to get out of the storm, and John's hospitality and rapid responses were a lifesaver. We would absolutely come back!

Nice little camper. Comfy. Yep, the train went through quite often but didn't bother me and at night, the ear plugs worked fine Would stay there again if I was in the area.

If your in the area this is THE place to stay! Great helpful directions, comfortable, well lit, stocked, WiFi, tv. Added plus the campfire was lit for us pre arrival! Our stay was just wonderful!

I had a wonderful time at the horse ranch and I recommend this stay for others. Everything was just as described and the bed was very comfortable. The horses were beautiful and the host was great! Stockton and the lake are a very short drive away. Stockton is a very cute town. I went to the lake each day and enjoyed several trails.

My daughter and I stayed one night at this location close to the PA Renaissance Faire. In the morning we ate breakfast at the nearby Kounty Kitchen which was very good. Sonia's RV is very clean and well-stocked with linens. Finding it in the dark was a little tricky. But Sonia made the check-in and check-out process easy.

We had a wonderful stay in the camper! Very private and peaceful location on the pond. Nita came to visit where we arrived to ensure everything was okay and we were settled in. We were in town for the Oyster Festival which as just a short drive from the camper. Would recommend to anyone and would visit again!
