Vacation home rentals in Plainview

This year was the second year my group and I stayed with Lake Norris Chalets. They were completely painless to work with both years and are very responsive to any questions you may have. Their homes are precisely as described in the descriptions. One huge perk about renting with Lake Norris Chalets, if you are in one of their homes with a dock, and you rent a boat from them they will deliver the boat to the home, fueled up and ready to go. This is a great service that frees up a lot of time you would spend going to the marina, filling out all the paperwork and getting the boat back to your place. I would recommend Lake Norris Chalets time and time again for anyone looking to have a great weekend on the lake!

The apartment was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We loved that we could walk to downtown Takoma Park.

Challenging vacation with kids not able to come at last minute, death of a pet of the grandkids that did come with late night trip to take them home. The saving grace was the cozy comfort of sitting on the deck watching the water, the stresses and sorrow melting away and happy stories about the loss of a loved kitty.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gettysburg Retreat! We loved that we were in walking distance to so many historical landmarks and sightseeing activities. The home was very cozy and perfect to relax in after a day of exploring! We highly recommend this home for a trip to Gettysburg!

Lirio Woods was a great stay for my boyfriend and me! We appreciated the little details (i.e., pre-filled ice cube trays, laundry basket, room heaters, dryer balls for your down jackets, extra/sorted firewood, recycling bins, marked/lit parking space, etc.) that made the trip more comfortable and convenient. There were lots of helpful info cards for the amenities. The fireplace was already set up the night we checked into the stay. Although it only has a kitchenette, there were enough appliances and kitchenware to make meals and reheat leftovers--induction burner and toaster oven came in handy. The place was in a quiet location away from road noise but easy to venture into nearby towns. Thank you so much, Katie, for hosting us! We appreciated your excellent/efficient communication during our stay. Highly recommend staying at Lirio Woods!

This was my second time to stay at Pilot Cove this year and I will be back. The cabins are conveniently located and have everything you need. The minimal design is appealing as well. Great place to stay!

We had a great time with our girls at the Sol Bungalow. It was a good location, and exactly what we needed for a few days away.

The place was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed it for our daughter’s high school graduation. Would definitely stay there again. The only issue we had was the neighbors had 3 chihuahuas and they barked anytime we went on the porches or outside. But I also have animal at home and they also bark at everything.

This location was absolutely amazing! Nestled in a quiet, family-oriented community, it was the perfect escape. The home itself was beautifully decorated—every furniture piece and detail felt intentional and well put together. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with your special someone, this is definitely the spot to enjoy both quiet time and adult time. Joanne was awesome,friendly, attentive, and quick to respond to any needs we had. Thank you so much for hosting me and my boyfriend. Great location with a wonderful woodsy view and you can even see the lake from the living room and deck. The only issue and it’s doesn’t have anything to do with Vera’s is there’s a lot of road noise since the property is so close to the road. It was not crazy loud but you notice it. Vera was great to deal with and very responsive and helpful. We did have a good and relaxing time.

If you're ever in Meredosia, IL, and need a place to stay, this is the one. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and attentive, and I had absolutely nothing to complain about. A 10/10 experience — I would gladly stay here again.

the house was perfect. there were even more beds than shown in the listing so we did not need to use the air mattress we brought. kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools And dishes we needed. nice large fridge to hold enough food for our stay. comfortable couches and beds. we had a great time and was not to far to get to all the things we wanted to do.

Great place for a family trip! Tons of fun arcade games, clean house, lots of space, and a friendly host. We’ll definitely be back!

The house was extremely clean in a quiet neighborhood. He was extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

After staying in some really nice properties this on stands out. I give it 10 out of 10. Denise and David are super nice people ready to accommodate any requests. The apartment is a perfect size for us and our two dogs. There's an easy walk to the lake where you can bank fish or fish off the dock. A kayak awaits the younger guests at no charge. it's quiet an very restful. We will visit again sometime in the future.

Lilac lodge was great!! Deb is a great host and very responsive. the cabin was well equipped and cozy. It's a prefect lake getaway. the private dock was our favorite part of the trip and the fishing of this dock is phenomenal!! we will be back!!

The deck was fabulous! The home is smaller than the pictures but great for two couples. The kitchen was adequate…we ate out most of the time.

Our stay was quiet and comfortable. Looking out the windows, beautiful scenery Virginia is just so beautiful in the spring with this rolling hills. My location is close to the university, but not so close that you feel the hustle.
