This year was the second year my group and I stayed with Lake Norris Chalets. They were completely painless to work with both years and are very responsive to any questions you may have. Their homes are precisely as described in the descriptions. One huge perk about renting with Lake Norris Chalets, if you are in one of their homes with a dock, and you rent a boat from them they will deliver the boat to the home, fueled up and ready to go. This is a great service that frees up a lot of time you would spend going to the marina, filling out all the paperwork and getting the boat back to your place. I would recommend Lake Norris Chalets time and time again for anyone looking to have a great weekend on the lake!

The apartment is well laid out. We had everything we needed. Once we figured out how to get in (trouble with the padlock at first), we had no other problems. The house is down a biggesh hill making walking up to town a thing. We don't recommend this apt. for anyone with mobility issues, unless you have a car. We will be staying here again, if possible.

Challenging vacation with kids not able to come at last minute, death of a pet of the grandkids that did come with late night trip to take them home. The saving grace was the cozy comfort of sitting on the deck watching the water, the stresses and sorrow melting away and happy stories about the loss of a loved kitty.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming pre-Civil War home! It was warm and cozy, the perfect retreat for an icy, snowy weekend. The location is great—the city center with its restaurants and shops are couple minutes away by foot, and there's a supermarket just across the street. There was some traffic noise during the day, but it got reasonably quiet at night, so it was no issue. The house itself is full of character—nothing is quite square, plumb, or level, but that only adds to its charm! If you appreciate historic homes with a unique feel, this is a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend! The host was incredibly accommodating, offering an early check-in without us even asking. They also proactively offered a late checkout or even an extra night due to the heavy snowfall, though in the end the roads were clear and we could leave as planned.

Lirio Woods was a great stay for my boyfriend and me! We appreciated the little details (i.e., pre-filled ice cube trays, laundry basket, room heaters, dryer balls for your down jackets, extra/sorted firewood, recycling bins, marked/lit parking space, etc.) that made the trip more comfortable and convenient. There were lots of helpful info cards for the amenities. The fireplace was already set up the night we checked into the stay. Although it only has a kitchenette, there were enough appliances and kitchenware to make meals and reheat leftovers--induction burner and toaster oven came in handy. The place was in a quiet location away from road noise but easy to venture into nearby towns. Thank you so much, Katie, for hosting us! We appreciated your excellent/efficient communication during our stay. Highly recommend staying at Lirio Woods!

I’m going to recommend this place to everyone. What a history this place has!! Beautiful inside & out. Spacious grounds for a nice walk. Close to Thurmont & Cunningham state park.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Wren House in Afton, Virginia, and it was an unforgettable experience. Nestled amidst nature, this retreat offered privacy and breathtaking mountain views. The hot tub was a delightful addition, perfect for unwinding after a day of tubing at Wintergreen Resort. The spacious layout made it ideal for our family gathering, providing both comfort and tranquility. I highly recommend Wren House for anyone seeking a serene getaway in a picturesque setting.

What a gem! Great spot for our group of 4. I wish we had had time to make use of the beautiful patio and the walk to the beach. Would absolutely love to stay here again when we can really soak up all that seaside has to offer!

Great place and great host! Gracious enough to let us check in early due to flooding. We definitely overpacked as everything we needed was already there, including dog food & treats!

Pat was extremely communicative and the home fit our family of 10 perfectly. There are 2 large bedrooms on the main level, one, a King with small private bath and the other, a queen bed with large private bathroom. There were 2 additional full baths on the main level as well. The kitchen was extra large, very well stocked and accommodated our large family! There is an oversized family room with lots of seating and a bar area too! The family room off the kitchen faces the back deck and the lake and I enjoyed lots of time there reading books to my Grand baby. The back deck was oversized and the home literally sits on Lake Hartwell ! The back dock was a nice bonus as was the hot tub! The downstairs does have some steep stairs so I wouldn't advise elderly people sleeping down there. However, you will find a full bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a third bedroom/bonus/flex space with 2 full beds. We loved our family time there celebrating our daughter's wedding! We can't wait to go back!

My daughter insists Cornelia's place is the best Airbnb we've stayed at! She has high standards and we have stayed at a lot of Airbnbs. As someone else said, Cornelia anticipates what you need before you do. It's the only Airbnb we've stayed at who had real half-n-half in the fridge when we arrived! She offers multiple coffee-making options and I really enjoyed the coffee pour-over situation! Because of our stay, we are looking at a towel warmer for ourselves. I feel like we owe her for the snacks too! It really was perfect for our time at TIEC and so close. We will return!

My friends and I had a great stay! Quiet, clean, and not far from downtown Lancaster and many other things to do in the area. Would definitely recommend.

Amanda is a five star host! Communication with her was amazing....she was more than accommodating! She was a delight to deal with! Now, let me talk about her home....absolutely beautiful, decorated so lovely, all accommodations were so convenient, beds are really comfortable and the shower pressure was awesome (something you don't find in most rentals down the shore) The deck out back is an absolute oasis.....so comfortable and when you're sitting at her outdoor bar just looking at the pool and the sunset, you really know you're on vacation.....Amanda, Rich and I can't thank you enough....looking forward to staying at your incredible home next year!

We travel with service dogs & it is rare to find a place to allows dogs and is so well cared for. Samantha also decorated for Christmas, which is why we were there … to visit with family for the holidays. What a thoughtful host. Even the way the home is set up was done with ‘guests’ in mind. We look forward to staying there again!

Made lots of great memories with our family during our stormy mini vacay. Home is very cozy and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Note if you have small kids, you do have to cross the busy road and there are no sidewalks. But it is an easy quick walk to the ocean! Rosalie was very responsive and helpful!

Absolutely breathtaking! Love the view and how beautiful Angelina’s home is. Highly recommended especially during summer time.

Great place, close to the beach. Nice, quieter part of Atlantic City. Had a great time with our family and children. The house was perfect for our needs. Comfortable, large, and stylish. Loved the big kitchen and the backyard. Lots of spaces to hang out and lounge and great to have 2 showers for our full party. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay! House was perfect for our family and dog! Everything was super clean and such a close walk to the beach! We had packed supplies for the house and none were needed as everything and some was provided! Dawn was super nice and great at communicating to us! We will definitely look to stay again in the future!

This is the second time staying at Robert’s place and I will continue to stay at his place as long as my family has our annual reunions. My dog and I love his place and will recommend his other property to my brother, who has a larger group than just me and my dog.

We had a wonderful stay! The pool was clean and large, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had plenty of amenities for cooking a meal. Located just 7 minutes from downtown Bethany Beach and the ocean, so there was always somewhere close to eat and grab groceries. The area is walkable/runnable/rideable with wide bike lanes that go all over town.

Such a beautiful and warm accommodation! The outside was picturesque and the inside was exactly like the photos! The owners were kind and very descriptive. We chose this one for a quick girl’s weekend trip. We had everything we needed and the owners were very easy to contact!

We will be staying again great house on the river! Loved the fire pit as well!
