Places to stay in Placerville

The Sunflower Cottage was perfect! The location was gorgeous and quiet. Charley was able to accommodate for an early check in, which was appreciated! The guest book had great recommendations for local activities and restaurants, but we also enjoyed relaxing in the tiny home and in the private fire pit area. There is also a beautiful sunset watching spot within a 10 minute walk! Thank you, Charley! We will be returning.

Mark’s place was really beautiful. The location can’t be beat! There’s so much property that you can hike your way through. It’s very secluded and private and I’ve never seen so many stars out at night! It’s definitely very special. He has two dogs that live on the property who will happily guide you down the trails. First there’s Magic who is a sweet little lady who will gently get you where you need to go. She was great with my little dog Piper. Then there’s Owen who has the soul of a very charming escaped convict. He’s still just a puppy so he’s learning the ropes. Don’t leave your sneakers out around him! He wasn’t great with my dog so they did need to be separated. But Mark was super responsive and handled it right away. Owen is a little sweetheart but he’s still a puppy so if you have a small dog just be mindful. He’s probably great with big dogs. But he’ll definitely keep you entertained with his lovable antics!

The place was beautiful and peaceful. My family really enjoyed our stay there and we will definitely will be coming back. our boys loved exploring around 💙

We loved our stay at the Apple Orchard. The location is idyllic, so beautiful! The owners are very sweet and made sure we were comfortable. The B and B is very close to Trimble Hot Springs, an amazing place that shouldn't be missed when visiting Durango. Thank you!

Nothing but good things to say about Rene’s place. Situated in a totally unique, rustic camper with direct views of the mountains. Has a grill, kitchen, shower, and fire pit! Really all you could ask for and more in the heart of Colorado wine country. Totally recommend for anyone considering staying in Paonia

Laurie’s place was exactly what I expected. Having been there previously I knew this building was older. Laurie did a great job keeping the condo minimal but still provided everything you could need. It was just a short walk to the lifts and was so nice being right at the ski resort and not having to deal with parking, etc. Definitely worth the price.

We absolutely loved our time at Alison’s place. We saw a bear one evening, which was so neat. This was the perfect place for us as we traveled around downtown, Purgatory and Molas Pass. Easy access to downtown but also step away from the hustle and bustle of town. Would absolutely recommend this space!
