Tuscan Nature Views From Casa Gave

The house consists of two apartments within a wing of the Gave manor house in Sorana, a little village in the heart of Svizzera Pesciatina in Tuscany. Far from the crowd of cities, it's the right place where to escape and find relax. Admire the original wood beam ceilings and wooden fixtures while sitting around the indoor fireplace or spend a sunny afternoon out in the garden under the pergola or in the swimming pool surrounded by the olive trees terraces (airbnb.com/h/casagavenaturarelax). The apartment, with separate entrance, is composed as follows: - kitchen-living room with wood burning fireplace complete with all appliances, microwave, kettle and TV; - double bedroom with wardrobe and sofa bed. Removable baby bed available on request; - bathroom with toilet, shower and bidet. The property was completely renovated in 2017 respecting the original features, such as ceilings with chestnut beams, local stone walls, chestnut window frames and wrought iron gates. The furniture are made of wood recovered from the original beams. Outside there are a pergola covered by a wisteria where you can relax or eat and a bbq available for lunches and dinners. A ping-pong table and table football are also available. As we live next to the apartment we are available for any need of the guest. The home is in a natural setting with multiple areas for scenic hikes to enjoy. Take a trip to the amazing Lucca or to the Montecarlo vineries, or to the seaside in Versilia, have a spa day at Montecatini Terme, visit the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, and enjoy authentic cuisine at the local restaurants. WIFI connection available. Crockery, linen and towels provided. Pets welcome. Reserved parking. Breakfast on request.

From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

We had a wonderful stay here for our honeymoon. The town of Carmignano is a great place to get away from the bustle of the city. Great spots to eat. The unit itself is one of the most unique places I have ever stayed! If taking the bus, please note that the 210 route does not go direct to Carmignano every time, and you will have to make transfers. Just look up the bus schedules online and they can tell you where to transfer.

Amazing host, location and home! The great listed building had a lift, which was very handy for our elderly parents, flat was beautifully furnitured with all amenities and more (better than pictures). Great communication from the host and had no problem with parking our car right in front of the building. Io e il mio fidanzato siamo stati ospiti da Clio per un weekend. Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti in maniera calorosa dall'host che ci ha fatto subito sentire a casa nostra. L'esperienza in tenda è stata bellissima ed era proprio quello che cercavamo, un luogo immerso nella natura e circondata dalla pace più assoluta. La colazione molto molto buona...ritorneremo sicuramente!

Eine tolle romantische Atmosphäre so wie man Sie für die Toskana erwarten würde. Die Unterkunft bietet alles an Ausstattung was man braucht. Es ist der perfekte Ort um sich mit einem Glas Wein die pittoreske Gegend anzuschauen! Traumhaft, bezaubernd und einfach nur wunderschön! Wir würden uns freuen eines Tages zurück zu kommen.
