Monthly Rentals in Pixley

Great few days in a lovely cottage. We were made very welcome by Jennifer and Ewan and also by Stripe, the wonderful and friendly chicken. The location was perfect. It was quiet and peaceful yet right in the heart of historic Ledbury and even better, we could easily walk into the hills right from the cottage. Jennifer's recommendations were very helpful and spot on - we found lovely places to eat and drink. If you like a touch of shopping too the independent shops are lovely and all the people very friendly and cheerful. The cottage is well equipped and perfect for our needs. Another very happy stay here. As it was a warmer time of year this stay,it was wonderful to be able to sit out on the covered decking and on the grass beside the property watching the sheep and a moorhen with her chicks by the large pond. Very peaceful property and flexible bedrooms,sociable living/kitchen area,parking outside on the property. We were visiting for a family wedding nearby at Verzon House but did manage to visit The Nest Cafe for delicious lunch and Wellington Garden Centre a bit further afield but well worth the journey. We shall return!

Just back from a wonderful couple of nights at Long Barn with two life long friends. Set in a peaceful location perfect for exploring Herefordshire, Long Barn is an immaculate, comfortable, cosy cottage set up with all you need for a perfect stay. The beds are super comfortable and there are plenty of throws for snuggling up or for a little cover up if sat outside in the evening. Angela and Paul are the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble, communication was always prompt, warm and friendly. Paul greeted us with a warm welcome and ensured we settled in ok. Inside the cottage was a welcome basket which included apple juice made with apples from the orchard and homemade lemon drizzle cake, there was also milk in the fridge and tea bags and coffee. Outside the cottage is a private sitting and dining area and a shared garden to relax. We wish we could have stayed longer. Long Barn is the perfect place to stay with family, friends and your family pooch too. Don't hesitate, just book

We were visiting friends in the area and really enjoyed staying at Rowan's cabin. It has everything you need, and the area is very beautiful. The cabin is cosy and the views are stunning.
