King Ludwig's Old Neighbour

Welcome to the house of my childhood memories. It is located right below the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, surrounded by lakes and mountains. Inspired by the contrast between heritage and sharing economies, the designer Michl Sommer and his team of featuring-amsterdam have created this microcosm inside the traditional neighbourhood of Hohenschwangau. The 180 sqm living area provides generous space, and the 1'400 sqm garden is large enough for football games.

We rent our beautiful “forest house” to nature lovers and family communities. On the idyllic, large property with forest panorama you can enjoy nature. The hiking trails start right outside the front door. The stream is only a few meters away. Therefore, a romantic, relaxing rustling and rippling can be heard in the garden. The sauna invites you to relax, but there is also something for the little ones… including a climbing frame with slide & swing & trampoline ;)

The almost 100-year-old farmhouse is located at 1200 m above sea level and has a beautiful view of the mountain landscape of the area. The house is mostly in its original condition, but without having to sacrifice any comfort. Electric stove, oven, dishwasher, bathroom, Wi-Fi, TV with Magenta TV and Fire TV Stick is all available. Ideal for those seeking peace and quiet after the many cultural and sporting activities that our area has to offer.

The charming house offers plenty of space, is spacious, cozy, warm and clean, is located in the middle of the Alps and is an ideal starting point for many activities such as skiing, hiking, climbing, biking, city tours... A huge well-kept garden with horizontal bars, swing and slackline make the stay a pure nature experience! Schönwies is a small, quiet place with 2 grocery stores, a train station, close to a shopping center, cinema, etc.

Hiking from the house, climbing areas within walking distance, lakes, diving area, golf, etc. in approx. 15 min., ski resorts in about 25 min. by car. Cross-country ski trail in front of the house.

The cozy 1-room apartment is about 25 square meters, has a living room-bedroom and a bathroom with shower/toilet. It was newly renovated in 2022. There is no separate kitchen, so no cooking facilities, but there is a refrigerator, coffee machine, dishes and kettle. The apartment exudes a "feel-good character" with beautiful furniture and harmonious light.

Entspanne dich mit der ganzen Familie in unserem Alpenchalet Valentin. Die Unterkunft liegt in ruhiger Lage in Sautens des vorderen Ötztals. Bis 10 Personen können gemeinsam bei uns Erholung finden und dieses ganz für sich allein im Ferienhaus. Unsere 5 Schlafzimmer geben jedem einzelnen genug Platz und eine Möglichkeit zum zurückziehen.

In the middle of a meadow with orchards, our vacation home is in a secluded location. The old part from the 16th century was formerly used as a granary. The large terrace is for the exclusive use of our guests. Garden furniture, deck chairs and a grill are provided.
