Penny’s place is truly a hidden gem—a peaceful escape from reality. My husband and I both work, go to school, and juggle raising kids, so we were long overdue for a quiet getaway to reconnect. Sanctuary in the Pines was exactly what we needed. It’s calm, quiet, and surrounded by nature—perfect for slowing down and just enjoying each other’s company. You really can't describe the experience fully in words... you just have to go and feel it for yourself. Penny is hands down the best host we’ve ever had. She’s incredibly sweet and thoughtful, and always responds quickly if you need anything. Her warmth made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. If you're looking for a place to relax, recharge, and reconnect, this is it. One tip: don’t make the same mistake we did by arriving late at night—come during the day so you can enjoy the gorgeous drive in and take in the views. I spent a couple nights here with my family. During our stay, we found the peace and relaxation we were all so eagerly looking for. The house is beautiful and full of amenities that really make you feel like you're at home. The location is very convenient, with it being only 5 minutes away from the local grocery store and a short drive from several camping/swimming/fishing locations. My family and I will definitely be staying here again.
