Vacation rentals with beach access in Piane Vecchie

This was our second stay at Alessandra’s Casa sul di Mare. We have only done the same AirBnB at this special place since traveling. It is the best location for the view and allows our daughter to play all day on the beach while we can see her right from the room. It has the best restaurants within a block and entertainment. It is historical and makes you feel like you transported back in time. Alessandra is a beautiful host and had the best recommendations for Cefalu. She was very helpful when our daughter was not well and offered to arrange for her to see a doctor. Only in Sicilia do you have such compassion and welcoming hosts like Alessandra. Grazie mille ci vediamo l'anno prossimo!

Francesco and his wife were adorable, very welcoming and discreet. The accommodation is located in a perfect location on the beautiful Mondello beach. Everything is accessible on foot or by bus, with Palermo 15 minutes away. Francesco and his wife gave us a guided tour of the city. We warmly recommend this listing!

Stefania was an incredible host!! She gave us many recommendations for local restaurants to get the authentic Palermo experience! The beaches nearby were gorgeous. Well worth what we paid, Mondello is a beautiful area. We felt right at home! I wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect location to explore Cefalu and surroundings. Located on the water on the edge of the old section. Terrace above the beach where you can view the sunset. Walking in Le Madonie is recommended. In the stay there is everything you need.

This was easily my favorite AirBNB stay ever!! The host made and sent a lovely online book of places to visit, things to do, restaurants to try, etc! The place was super clean and felt very safe!

We stayed for four weeks in march. We had a great time, we fell in love with the place and their lovely dog Fiocco who is very sweet, also to children. Therèse and Viviana were very kind and helpful when we had questions. The house is situated in the middle of a large lemon grove and a daily stroll to the sea (it's a pebble beach) is greatly recommended. The nearby village San Stefano di Camastra is great for an ice cream and a coffee. We expected more hikes to be near, as it is located right next to Nebrodi but finding and reaching hotspots (hiking or otherwise) was ultimately harder than expected. We encountered this across Sicily though and is not related to the house itself. Our children loved to roam around the premises and find their own little adventures. All in all, we had a great relaxed stay and felt in tune with rural Sicily.

Roberto is a very welcoming host, he is very responsive and gave us some great recommendations in the area. He even brought us breakfast twice. The house has an unobstructed view of the sea with private access without sand space to settle in but with a small concrete terrace. We also enjoyed the outdoor terrace which is sheltered from the wind and where we spent very pleasant evenings. We had a good week in Sicily and the location very close to the airport (15 min) was a plus. The cities of Trapani, Palermo, Mondello, Segeste are easily accessible within 1 hour and Cefalu at 1h20.

An amazing getaway! A pristine, rustic, and cozy sicilian home nestled in a citrus and olive orchard with a 200 meter walk to the beach. Quiet, except for the birds and the occasional car. Full kitchen to cook what you learned at at a local cooking class and a great family run restaruant an few minutes walk away. Close to main roads for adventures out and a train station about a kilometer away if you prefer. The host was friendly and helpful with recomendations and understanding Sicily if it is your first time. He spoke English very well and a variety of other languages. This was a great location to live and breathe Sicillian culture and to have a quiet place to rest. Overall an amazing countryside stay that was still close to Cefalu and Palermo. Highly recommended!

Absolutely wonderful stay at Claudio’s place. Beautiful apartment. Close to everything. Claudio was very friendly and helpful. Drove our heavy luggage to the train station for us. Would definitely come back again! Really enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend.

If you’re looking for a modern home, this isn’t the place for you. If you’re looking for a mansion by the sea with classic old Italian style and an unbeatable location, this is the place for you. Giovanni even hooked us up with a private chef to come to the house for one night of our trip. There’s a coffee shop, restaurant and pharmacy all within a block. This house is perfect for a large group and Giovanni has excellent communication. Thanks for hosting us Giovanni! We had a wonderful time!

We loved our stay at Tusa Bay. The location is amazing - two minutes to swim in the sea. The apartment is clean, modern, well equipped and quiet. Great apartment in a great location. I definitely recommend it.

Antonio's apartment in Cefalu is great - perfect, central location - easy to access and Antonio helps out with questions right away. The apartment is in a centuries old building right on the square overlooking the oldest Cathedral in Sicily. The apartment is updated, clean and comfortable - Antonio has thought of every detail to make your stay easy - two full clean bathrooms, kitchen is stocked with everything you need, beds are comfortable. Cefalu is a beautiful, relaxing sea side town - good restaurants and shops - the hike to La Rocca was an adventure. Loved our stay with Antonio.

We didn't meet Michele personally, but he was in permanent contact before we arrived and gave us useful recommendations. The apartment is very comfortable and well-equipped. It is strategically located to explore Palermo and Cefalu

The accommodation offers everything you need. It is super centrally located and close to the beach. Federico was an incredibly nice and helpful host who gave us a lot of good tips and was super easy to reach. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful flat. It is better than the photos. The roof terrace is absolutely amazing. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the rooms beautifully decorated - we could have stayed a month! Cefalu is gorgeous - there are tourists of course but it feels like a place Italians are also living - not like being in a place just for tourists. The location of the flat could not be better - short walk to beach and close to the main square and shopping street. Not far from train station either.

We had a wonderful stay at Enricos apartment. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us to (a family with 2 boys 10 & 13) be very comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect with just a short walk to beautiful and affordable bars and restaurants. Panificio Bakery below the apartment was the real Cherry on top when it came to having beautiful fresh pastries for breakfast on the spacious balcony. For those interested in the Culture & History of the Island Enrico provided perfect information of how to get there etc and was always very responsive if we needed a little help via text message. Mondello is an excellent base for a holiday to Sicily with good transport links everywhere. Finding free local parking close to the apartment for our hire car was easy. We give Enrico & his apartment 10/10 for everything and would definitely use it again. Thank you, Enrico, for everything.

This is an amazing apartment in the heart of Cefalu. The view is even better than the photos depict. All our needs were catered for in the apartment - it is modern and well looked after. Thank you so much for the great stay! Just one note to others - remember to buy enough drinking water to keep in the flat!

Great apartment right next to the train station and also a quick walk to the coast. Santo was great at providing advice on where to go and what to see.

We are a family with 2 teenager who felt very comfortable in Maria's apartment. It is located in a small alley in the heart of the picturesque old town of Cefalu. Perfect location for exploring Cefalu on foot. During the week it was very quiet, at the weekend the town filled up. The apartment is practically furnished and very clean. Check in & out was easy and well explained, communication was very cordial and helpful. We got great restaurant tips from Maria. We can highly recommend staying here.
