We had the most amazing 10 days at Rosellina’s beautiful home in Solanto. From the moment we arrived, Rosellina and her husband welcomed us with such warmth and generosity – they truly went out of their way to make us feel at home. While the immediate area isn’t the most eventful, we honestly didn’t need anything beyond the charm of the house itself and its spectacular view over the bay, the mountains, and the deep blue sea. Best of all was the private “beach” – a rocky cliffside where we could swim and snorkel straight from the water’s edge. The house is just a short drive from supermarkets and lovely small towns like Porticello, Santa Flavia, and Bagheria – and only about 40 minutes to Palermo. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at Rossella’s. She and her husband were extremely friendly and helpful. This is the perfect place to stay with 2 couples- it’s essentially 2 apartments. Great AC, privacy, and super close to the beach and restaurants!

We enjoyed a quiet few days at Marco’s place. The outdoor area is beautiful and there was no one around in any of the neighbouring villas so very private. There was a lot of space inside and out. The beach is rocky so water shoes are helpful, and it does get pretty deep quickly but we enjoyed swimming daily. The tunnel to get under the roadway and to the villa is tight, about 6ft wide as the listing mentions, we just managed to get our rental car through (Citron C3) buy pulling the mirrors in. But there is parking on the main road if you can’t get in. Marco was very quick to respond and provided a lot of local recommendations. It was under an hour to both Palermo and Cefalu; a great quiet spot if you want some peace and quiet.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb near Cefalù! The house is fully equipped with everything you might need—washing machine, utensils, and more—which made my stay incredibly convenient. The spacious parking area was a great bonus, and the house itself is beautifully designed, offering plenty of room to relax. Its location is perfect just a short drive to Cefalù, making exploring the town effortless. The host is also very friendly and responsive. The only minor things to note: there are quite a few extra beds, which may not be necessary for all guests, and a mirror in the attic would be a useful addition. Overall, a fantastic place to stay—highly recommended!

We had a great relaxing stay. Apartment is a short walk to the beach and a very good restaurant. Apartment was equipped with everything we need for our stay.

The stay in Aldo's house was completely relaxing from start to finish and we felt very comfortable. Aldo is a very accommodating and friendly host. The house is very nicely decorated and the spacious garden is a dream with many different palm trees that provide shade on hot days. We will be happy to come back!

I have just finished a stay at this beautiful home and I can only compliment both the property and the host's hospitality. The house is absolutely charming, with attention to detail and equipped with every comfort imaginable. The rooms are clean, cozy and tastefully furnished, creating a perfect and relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The location is perfect, surrounded by tranquility but at the same time close to all the main attractions and above all a stone's throw from the sea. But the real added value is the host: a kind person, helpful and always ready to provide useful tips to make your stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend staying here.

This is a cool and nice house with its own garden and heated pool. In spring, the heated pool is a real gem for children. The water was always warm. Very nice and private, has everything you need and also for grilling. I also recommend it for families with small children, as it is a very safe garden. The pool has a proper cover that small children cannot open themselves. Antonio is very friendly and gave very good advice on where to go and what to do. The sea is very close and the beach is very beautiful (sandy beach) !

Roberto’s place is wonderful. Everything was very well cared for, the pool was perfect and there were plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the scenery. We would definitely come back. Thank you

Absolutely unforgettable stay! From the very first second, we felt completely at home at Terre di Bea. The property offers complete privacy and a breathtaking view of the sea - truly something special to wake up to every morning. The idyllic pool area is a highlight, perfect for relaxing while taking in the peaceful surroundings. Antonio was the perfect host - warm, helpful, and always available. Whether we needed advice on hidden beaches, restaurant reservations, or tips for local activities, he went above and beyond. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We had the absolute pleasure to stay at Caterinas house to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary with 4 other adults. I chose this listing because the pictures looked like such a romantic house. Arriving to the island of Sicily was breathtaking, and let me tell you, once we arrived to the house, I was speechless. Caterina was there to greet us with such a warm hug. Entering the house stopped me in my tracks. The house exudes romance and actually brought me to tears. It has the perfect quintessential Sicilian decor and charm. The view from the terrace will mesmerize you. It faces West so you will have some of the most spectacular sunsets with views of Sferracavallo in the peripheral. All 6 of us found the mattresses extremely comfortable. The house is fully stocked with everything you might need for a perfect vacation. Caterina is an amazing host. She loves her house and it shows. We will be back! If you want perfection, make her house yours while visiting Sicily.

We had the most amazing time at this villa, the views are stunning and even better than the photos. We stayed as a group of ten and loved it, the kids had plenty to do with the pool, ping pong table and football game. Cefalu is fifteen minutes drive away and the most charming, pretty little town with many good restaurants and bars, also with great views. We took a day trip to Palermo which is 45 minutes by train from Lascari train station (ten minute drive from the villa) and is well worth visiting. The team who looked after the villa were very friendly and responsive to messages. We loved our time at the villa and will definitely visit again.

This was one of the best properties we have stayed in. The views and privacy were amazing. We had 4 couples with plenty of room for each. Viviana was super in communication, recommendations and making us all feel at home. She arranged yoga and meals at the home with chef. All fantastic additions. We swam at private beach everyday which was clean and easily accessible. The Property is located within a safe, enjoyable 20 min walk to Cefalu town. A truly special place.

It was a beautiful and wonderful experience and I will definitely book the Airbnb again. The owners are very friendly , accommodating and reliable. The view is stunning and way more beautiful than on the pictures , it has everything you need from Sauna , Fitnessroom etc to more than enough space. I can definitely recommend this location to everyone if you want your piece in beautiful mountains and relax✨

We loved our stay in Fabios Apartment. Fabio and Andrea were kind, helpful, responsive and even brought us beach towels at 9am on a Sunday! The apartment is clean, spacious, with modern interior. All bedrooms have an en suite bathroom. Beautiful views.

Gorgeous stone farmhouse set in a stunning valley. The house has been beautifully restored with an oversize heated pool. Heaven. All topped off by a warm Sicilian welcome from the hosts.

A perfect vacation! 100% private, quiet, beautiful. We really enjoyed our girls' vacation! Stefano was very attentive & everything was very clean, especially the pool. Small highlight: the neighboring donkey ;) You definitely need a car, as it is high up and the roads are very steep - but that's what makes it so special. We highly recommend this place!

We had a great time at the Flower Villa. The saltwater pool was amazing to swim in, and the garden and views are breathtaking. We really enjoyed our dinners under the olivetree. Roberto and Floriana are excellent hosts and such friendly and warm people. They gave us a lot of pointers for things to do and see in the area. We would 100% recommend staying here.

Danilo is an absolutely amazing host, very responsive, hospitable and helpful. It felt like home, we got a personal greeting letter, which was a very nice gesture, some treats and some recommendations about restaurants., at the end of our stay there were even some little gifts for us. The house is very clean, spacious, modern, carefully designed to be practical, with a patio, terrace, swimming pool and sunbeds and also a little playground for children. There is space for everyone. It’s located a bit up, in a peaceful area, to get there you need a car but it guarantees a very nice view onto the sea. It was a great experience. The only regret is that we stayed only for one night. Danilo, thank you for your kindness and hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at Cleo Villa Siciliana. Maria made us feel welcomed throughout our stay and catered for all our needs. The shared guide proved very helpful in selecting our itinerary and we were grateful for the additional tips on highlights at our chosen destinations. The Villa is fabulous and has lovely features for a family to enjoy. The location is perfect for exploring the Northwest of the island and we had some great days out with a lot of variety. The views from the garden and poolside are superb and the sunsets are stunning through the west facing window. The children enjoyed catering for the cats and the arrival of the 4 kittens on day 3 an added bonus. The fireworks visible after sunset from the Baglio Rakali(Banqueting Hall) added to our great stay. We felt so at home and relaxed we managed to forget a couple of items when we left. Perhaps in preparation for our next visit!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house. It was spotlessly clean, with a generous provision of towels, a well-kept pool, and great amenities throughout. Jessica was incredibly helpful and always available if we needed anything. We celebrated two birthdays during our stay, and Jessica went above and beyond by surprising us with a dessert cake—it was such a thoughtful gesture that made our time there truly unforgettable. We’re so grateful for her kindness and hospitality. Highly recommend this villa for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Beautiful villa located with a wonderful view over the valley and Castelbouno town. The house was great with bedrooms on three different floors and the garden was very nice with many different lounge and dining areas. The pool area has amazing view and a really nice pool, though no fence so small kids must be watched. This is a perfect location for day trips to Céfalu with surroundings and we also really enjoyed Castelbouno town. Rosanna and her husband (and the dog Amica) took great care of us and were always available if we needed anything. The only minor issue was that we had a few power outages, but that was quickly fixed. We had a great time and would love to come again!

We had a fabulous week in this peaceful and beautiful location. The house was well equipped and the pool area was very relaxing with stunning views towards Pettineo village and the hills and valley. An ideal place to enjoy the outdoors, there is an outdoor sheltered dining area and BBQ. You can walk into the village from the house where we found a lovely cafe/bar. Visited Palermo, Cefalu and The Valley of the Temples at Agrigento (allow at least 2 and a half hours to get there). You need a car to get about. Be aware of some winding roads and the track to the house and village is rough, but fine once you get used to it. Thank you Francesco, you were the perfect host!
