If your romantic desire has always been to visit Italy and stay in a lovely bucolic setting on the hilly outskirts of one of the world's most fabulous cities, this is your kind of place---and much much more! This one is a very private rental space within a farmhouse/home surrounded by a thousand olive trees, stunning views of rolling italian hills, and easy public transportation to Florence only 20 mins away. A local restaurant with sweeping views of Firenze had several hundred bottles of wine to choose from plus maybe the best Bistecca alla Fiorentina I've had in several visits to Tuscany. You can read about your host Vat and his family's wonderful hosting skills, I'll just agree with those and add they understated everything. We loved our time at 'Wonderful House' and wished we could have stayed many more days.

It’s a restored stone building that has been beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well appointed with almost everything one needs for meal preparation. The bed was comfortable. We had a couple of minor issues ( we locked ourselves out) that Cosimo was quick to resolve. He was a very good host. As the description clearly states, a car is essential. Unfortunately, we found that almost every destination (Sienna, Montepulciano, , Pisa etc.) required driving through Florence which, for someone unfamiliar with the city, is a nightmare. We were there for the entire month of March and , overall we enjoyed it very much. It’s a very nice place and I would recommend it.

Amazing apartment! Quiet, easy walk to local restaurants and cultural spaces. Short walk to the bus to the heart of Florence and Duccio and Andrea were perfect hosts. Highly recommended!

This has been the best Airbnb experience I have had so far! Carlotta has a beautiful home with wild forrest, olive trees and a spectacular view! We were also fortunate enough to meet her wonderful family who served us dinner, an truly amazing experience. If you are in Italy I highly recommend you to book this Airbnb.
