Kirkland Place is located less than 1 mile from Arizona State Campus near downtown Tempe, AZ. Within 1-2 mile radius you have easy access to walking/bike paths, boating, and special events at Tempe Town Lake. Shopping, dining, and entertainment at Tempe Marketplace is only a few blocks away, about 1 mile. Light rail and free Orbit shuttle route is within a few blocks. You are about 7-10 minutes driving to old town Scottsdale which is a huge draw for dining and nightlife. Consider Kirkland Place your headquarters for Cubs Spring Training which is within 2 miles. This unit is centrally located to 3 freeway exits, loop 101, 202, and the 60. Sky Harbor Airport is a quick 7-10 minute car ride away. ASU main campus, Sun Devil stadium, and downtown Mill Avenue shopping and nightlife are within a mile. Several other Spring training facilities are within about 5 miles. The Phoenix Open, public golf courses, shopping, dining, and world class hiking are not far away. Exclusive full and private access to the two bedroom two bathroom condo with private interior laundry room with full size washer and dryer. There is a small backyard area for private entertaining that includes a small patio set, market umbrella, fire pit, and charcoal grill. There is one assigned covered carport spot and first come first serve uncovered spots in the parking lot. The community pool is across the parking lot with 24/7 keyed access. Quiet hours for the complex starts at 10 pm. Although there is no on-site management, most of the neighbors are full time residents so please be respectful . The complex consists of all private homes with many being rentals. There is a mix of retirees, college students, and young professionals that make Casitas East home. I am available by phone, text, or email and will try to answer your questions the same day. I live only a few blocks away and can be there quickly if any problems arise. The home is in a quiet neighborhood centrally located in the valley of the sun. Arizona State University, Sun Devil Football, and the Mill Avenue shopping district are located just down the street. Perfect location for spring training with The Cubs stadium being only 2 miles away. Tempe Town Lake is within 1 mile, as well as shopping and dining at Tempe Marketplace. This is the perfect location for marathons like Ironman and Rock n Roll. Only minutes away from oldtown Scottsdale and more! Uber and Lyft are abundant. Tempe's free Orbit bus route and bus stop is a small walk from the condo and will take you to mill Avenue shopping district, football games, and Tempe Marketplace among other places. Route and maps are available online. Light rail is walkable and a few blocks from the complex at the intersection of McClintock and Apache Blvd. Bicycles and scooters are available to rent on almost every block. There is an Enterprise car rental center just down the street located on McClintock Drive if you need to rent a car. The thermostat is turned off when no one is staying at the unit. To turn on just touch the screen and it will light up. You can then turn on heat or cooling and set the temperature to your liking by pressing the up or down arrows. Please turn off when you check out, or turn up the air when not in use.

Uncovered parking. Magazines (AZ Highways) and books on Arizona points of interest, hiking, fishing, skiing, climbing, etc. Five bikes (and helmets, locks, backpacks) available for use -- extensive bike trails in the area. Smoking is allowed outdoors away from common areas. Access to solar heated pool, hot tub, outdoor ramada/kitchen with BBQ and outdoor fireplace. Take advantage of bicycle trails with 5 bikes provided. Help yourself to citrus, herb garden and veggies! Trevor and Susan are very hospitable and will often invite you to participate in backyard gatherings - wood fired pizza in the outdoor ramada. However, mutual respect of privacy is appreciated - thanks! Centrally located - easy access to freeways, many golf courses, excellent restaurants, world class shopping -Kierland, Biltmore, Scottsdale Fashion Square. Close to all Scottsdale/Phoenix events: BARRET JACKSON and GOOD GUYS car shows, SPRING TRAINING! PHOENIX OPEN! ARABIAN HORSE SHOW! Casinos/shows/movie theaters/short drive to Fountain Hills/Mayo Clinic/Mayo Hospital. If you do not have a car...or would prefer not to drive...Uber is excellent! Five bicycles available for use - great bike path routes throughout Scottsdale. Many hiking trails to choose from - all close by. Bicycle paths - 5 bikes to use. Private access...gated side yard. Trevor is happy to share his extensive knowledge of Arizona. It is a quiet acreage neighborhood with desert wildlife, including quail and roadrunners, and is excellent for star gazing and bird watching. There is easy access to all Scottsdale sporting events, restaurants, shopping, casinos, and desert hiking. We use Uber and Lyft for valley travel convenience. Five bicycles on property for guest use. Scottsdale has excellent bike trails.

Amenities: Full kitchen: Keurig coffee maker with coffee provided, gas stove and oven, toaster, microwave, full refrigerator freezer, dishwasher, set of pans, utensils, flatware, 8 place settings, washing machine and dryer, 50" TV that can be mirrored from your phone or tablet, iron and ironing board. Three Google Home devices throughout the home give the time, provide music, answer your questions, tell jokes, and can be used as an alarm. High speed internet. Outdoors: huge back yard, fenced diving pool, fireplace, outdoor seating, BBQ grill, space for kids to play including playhouse, synthetic grass area. A carport and other parking area is available. The home has two security cameras: front door, and one in the side rear. Full access to the home and amenities. There are some areas used to stock supplies. Please use only what you need for your stay. You will be provided with access code as your stay gets near. Host is available for questions and help. Once inside, say "Hey Google" to one our Google Assistant and ask your question :) Situated in a cul-de-sac with easy access to the heart of Phoenix. Only 15 minutes from downtown, with many options for dining, entertainment, and shopping nearby. For day trips, don't forget to see the Grand Canyon National Park and Sedona. Bus stops within .5 miles. Several freeways nearby: AZ-51, Interstate-10 and the AZ-202 Loop are all within 2 miles. Sky Harbor airport about 5 miles. Uber and Lift drivers are plentiful.
