Beautiful cottage with a sublime pool and a very nice garden in a bucolic environment. The bedding is really very pleasant with its very fine cotton sheets and towels too. Everything is very very clean. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking. The small town of Mirepoix right next door is very nice. Huge market on Mondays. And there's an equestrian show in Viviès next door on Sunday evenings in summer that's worth it…

We have just returned from 2 weeks here and we had a fantastic time! Iain is so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble! The house is ideal and perfectly matches the description! We had two dogs and the fully enclosed garden meant we could fully relax. We had a few days where we were unlucky with the weather so the heated pool was ideal and Iain was kind enough to make it slightly warmer for us! The house is so close to everywhere but still feels so private and quiet. We loved having the peace, but yet having everything we needed on the door step. We’d return in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay at this stunning villa. It is set on a hillside overlooking the village and with wonderful views across the valley to the pyrenees beyond (although the winds in September made it feel a bit colder than the actual temperature was). The accommodation was super spacious with 3 double bedrooms (1 with ensuite), a comfy open-plan lounge, separate dining area and kitchen area. Outside is an unheated swimming pool, terrace area and covered (pergola) seating area with outside dining as well as a large gravelled parking area. The town of Lagrasse is beautiful and typically french, with several restaurants and pavement cafes as well as some small gift shops and patisserie. It is approx 45 minutes drive from Carcassonne. The overall feel is of a relaxed and peaceful holiday destination and an ideal place for unwinding with friends over a bottle or two of wine. Thanks Graham & Jeanne, we loved it

Great stay at this apartment! We were greeted by friends of the host who were very nice and warm. The apartment is very functional, with all the necessities. The decor is very nice, the bedrooms are spacious and the bedding is comfortable. Everything was clean upon arrival. The parking space is great, and we are close to the city (5 min drive). We highly recommend this place for a few nights or more! Thanks a lot ☺️

The property is huge, very peaceful. The kitchen has got a lot of utensils and crockery. Bathrooms are big, clean and modern (water pressure could be better though). The location is great, a few minutes walk to local amenities (bakery, supermarket, restaurants). we really enjoyed our stay there and would gladly come back. The heated pool was appreciated. The barbecue is great.

The villa is on the edge of Somail, very very quiet place 3min from the Canal du Midi. The villa is amazing! It looked even smaller in the photos while there is a very large volume. Well arranged with a separation between the sleeping area of the 4 bedrooms (which each have their own bathroom/wc) and the living room. All rooms have AC. The outdoor area with a pool is great. No opposite and the pool is sunny almost all day! (That's cleaned 2 times a week) We were lucky to have had no mosquitoes too while a little further, there were a lot closer to the Canal du Midi. Lily and her mother who hosted us were nice, helpful and very responsive. If we really had to make a complaint, but it's the only one. The BBQ grills were dirty when we arrived and we were unable to remove all the dirt. I recommend 100%!! It was a great time with the family!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Carcassonne! From the moment I arrived, the host went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The communication was excellent — responsive, friendly, and thoughtful throughout the entire stay. The house was spotless, stylish, and incredibly well-equipped with everything I could possibly need. It felt like a true home away from home, with lovely touches that showed real care and attention to detail. The location was perfect — peaceful and just a short drive to the medieval cité, shops, and cafes. But what truly made this experience special was the host’s generosity and kindness. Myriam helped with logistics, and made sure I had everything I needed. It’s rare to meet someone so genuinely warm and attentive. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. We enjoyed a wonderful few days with Bart & Anjo. An excellent apartment with everything you need. Especially a very well equipped kitchen. There’s lots to do in this very lovely regions, well worth a visit. Some big tourist attractions but equally we spent a couple of days on a mystery tour, always good fun and great to sample local life. Thank you for your hospitality, perfect.

Nice apartment, well arranged. Everything is well thought out. Sabine is accommodating and very pleasant. The building is quiet and the apartment was clean. The reserved parking space is a plus and makes the stay easier.

We were delighted to spend two days in Barbara and Andrew's beautiful loft. It's a very nice place, tastefully arranged, where you feel close to nature. Andrew and Barbara hosted us very well and established a friendly and warm atmosphere from the start of our arrival. In addition, they take great care of their guests. Everything was there: juice, coffee, fruit... If we have to go back to the area, we won't hesitate to go back to their home. A big thank you to them again. Bernard and Karen.
