Loved our two nights at Sarah’s place. Lovely breakfast served in the dining room. Very comfortable bed. Nice hot shower. Plenty of dining options within a couple miles. Everything about our stay was perfect.

magnifique endroit paisible, au fin fond des Highlands. Parfait si on recherche de l'authentique avec les moutons à la sortie de la porte et les cerfs qui nous surprennent à la sortie du sentier. Les parle français ce qui a été une belle surprise et très gentille dame.

Lovely place to stay overnight. Very comfortable bed and lovely breakfast in the morning. Sarah was an extremely hospitable host.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine schöne Zeit in Killin. Die Unterkunft war sauber, der Empfang sehr freundlich und alles was wir brauchten vorhanden. Für das erste Frühstück war gesorgt und eine Flasche Prosecco stand im Kühlschrank; das war sehr aufmerksam. Im Ort ist ein gutsortierter Coop und es gibt einige Möglichkeiten etwas zu essen und zu trinken. Der Lachs vom Smokehouse ist großartig und die schottischen Tapas im Falls of Dochart Inn waren sehr gut und reichlich. Im Killin Hotel, dem eine Renovierung gut täte, haben wir richtig gut gegessen, sehr freundliches Personal und eine große Whisky-Karte. Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt. Danke Frances!

Jane was such a genuinely kind person, she was extremely helpful when we first arrived and showed us how to work the hot tub and sauna, the cabin was beautiful and clean and the kitchen had everything one could need. Jane was extremely responsive as well. place was amazing absolutely worth every penny! x

Die Lodge ist wunderschön, modern und gemütlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten gut entspannen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Ausstattung ist noch besser als angegeben und für vier Personen (zwei Paare) war es mit zwei Doppelbetten perfekt geeignet. Im Vorfeld habe ich gute Tipps für Restaurants und Unternehmungen in der Gegend erhalten und auch die Wegbeschreibung war sehr hilfreich! Isabelle und Andrew waren schnell erreichbar bei Fragen und sehr freundlich. Der Checkin war einfach. Der Ausblick von der Lodge ist sehr schön. Man hat einen tollen Blick über das Tal und mit dem Auto kann man schnell von dort aus in verschiedene Richtungen starten, um Ausflüge zu machen. Alle Zimmer, Bad und Küche waren in einwandfreiem Zustand und sehr sauber. Der Kaminofen war ein besonderes Highlight für gemütliche Abende. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und würde jederzeit für einen Aufenthalt in der Region wieder die Lodge buchen! Wir bedanken uns für die schöne Zeit!

Directions were spot on, check-in was super easy. The hosts were superb, friendly and always at the end of the phone if not at home, nothing was too much trouble, and the property was exactly like the photos. Perfect location, modern and everything we needed was there in a very peaceful area and close to local amenities. Lots of treats & drinks left for us to enjoy. We will definitely be back!!!

We absolutely loved our short stay in this cute wee bothy, which is like a luxury cabin above Andrea and Gregor’s garage. It’s incredibly quiet and private despite being very close to their house. There’s even some decking to enjoy the Scottish sunshine!. It’s beautifully fitted out, really comfortable, cosy and warm. We stayed one night to break up a long journey south after our NC500 trip, but hung around the area the next morning to visit the Wallace Monument, a 2 minute car ride up the hill. Would happily have stayed longer to visit the area’s other attractions if we could. Thoroughly recommended.

Words can't describe the beautiful location, lovely home, all the extra thoughtful things, like bread, butter, milk and cookies! Patty was amazing, the entire family was so nice. Truly one of our favorite stays while visiting Scotland! Highly recommend!

Very special place. The drive up is slightly challenging but very much worth it. We had a great time hiking up the surrounding hills, and waking up with a view over the lake and the farm!
