Situated in the village of Pontsticill, ETC offers a perfect base to enjoy the best routes and scenery the Brecon Beacons has to offer – less than 20 minutes from Pen y Fan or the famous Ystradfellte Four Waterfalls, as well as a choice of pubs, outdoor activities and equipment hire available within the village.

Cwm Farm Cwtch, is a homely cottage set on a farm in Pontsticill, Merthyr Tydfil. You can enjoy the fantastic views and scenery, take a walk around our farm and interact with the animals (donkeys, chickens, dogs). Situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park, The Cwtch is in a perfect location for a number of activities, e.g Brecon Mountain Railway, Bikepark Wales, Morlais Golf Course, River fishing and lots more. There are a number of pubs in the village that serve food and local beers.

Expect quality affordable accommodation that suits you. Brynawel is a beautiful Victorian house next to Thomastown Park and has stunning views over the Merthyr valley. Brynawel is a very short walk to Merthyr Tydfil town centre, the train and bus station, but far enough away for you to have a peaceful retreat.

Our cosy cottage is ideal for couples and small families. Ty Bach is a small stone cottage in the heart of Cefn Coed and is located perfectly for convenience & adventure. Many attractions are within walking distance including Cefn Viaduct, Taff trail, Brecons mountain railway & Cyfarthfa Park and plenty of free parking is available. Bike Park Wales is just 10 minutes away by car with lots more close by too. Everything you would need is included with the house.

Gethin View is a perfect location for your visit to Bikepark Wales, Brecon Beacons and 4 falls. 5 minutes walk to the train and bus station and a ten minute ride to the Bikepark. We can accommodate up to eight guests with secure bike storage inside the property. If you require additional space we have a second property 2 mins walk away, sleeping up to 8 guests (Gethin Lodge). Bike hire and guided rides around the Brecon Beacons are available on request.
